Product is sturdy and well-made
Product is sturdy and well-made, but instructions are lacking. Had to fabricate my own mounting point since the door frame wasn't large enough for the magnet, but that was relatively straightforward.
There are several pieces of mounting hardware and different types of screws, but the instructions don't specify which screws go where. I'm guessing the screws were just extra since you don't need near that many based on the template, and that you can choose whichever type of screw works for you, but it would be nice to know for sure in the instructions.
Wiring instructions were much more clear and straightforward. Product works well and am happy with purchase.

Robert, thank you for your comments. The product purchased was a Securitron, Vista Series Magnalock, 600lbs. electromagnetic lock, 12/24vdc with DB - Door Position Switch & Bond Sensor. Documentation included the installation manual, product specifications and a system wiring diagram. We are working with Assa Abloy and Securitron to continue to make the installation instructions as informative and precise and possible. Hopefully, the next version will do better.
