Visited the Melton Mowbray store recently to look into our kitchen refurb as an IT guy I was dreading the mammoth task ahead, as I stood there loosing my mind a great young lad call Will approached to offer some help. After a chat he pointed me down the right road with some very helpful advice and guidance. This weekend I shall be attempting to to fit said kitchen. Thankfully he gave me his business card and said if I need any advice don't hesitate to give him a call. Will Newton, you are a superstar, thank you for all the help.

We had a great experience at the Huddersfield Magnet store! Steve was incredibly helpful from start to finish—friendly, approachable, and never pushy. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped us find our perfect kitchen. His genuine advice and relaxed approach made the whole process so easy. Honestly, Steve was one of the main reasons we chose to go with Magnet rather than shopping around elsewhere. Our kitchen is scheduled for installation in September, and we have high hopes for the quality based on the great service we’ve received so far. Highly recommend!

I have been receiving promotional texts from Magnet Trade for ages now. I have been trying to stop them by using their opt-out number 60064 and texting MAGSTOP, but the messages always bounce, saying “not delivered”. I am at my wits end with these annoying messages. Please tell me how to stop them! I’ve even tried to block the number on my phone but to no avail.

Our experience with Magnet Trade — and in particular with Tim at the Lichfield branch — was nothing short of fantastic.

Right from the start, Tim came out to our home to take measurements for the kitchen. He was incredibly professional, taking the time to understand our style preferences, colour ideas, and the kind of kitchen we were aiming for. It made the whole process feel very tailored and personal.

We later visited the Lichfield showroom, which is well laid out and stocked with a wide variety of kitchen styles to suit all budgets. There's a really helpful area where you can mix and match cupboard doors and worktops — this made visualising combinations much easier and more enjoyable.

When we sat down with Tim, he’d already created a detailed digital render of our potential kitchen layout. I have to say, Magnet’s visualisation system is far better than anything we came across — and we visited several kitchen suppliers before making a final decision. The rendering gave us a clear picture of how our kitchen would look and feel.

Throughout, Tim was extremely patient, guiding us through different styles and suggesting ideas that were not only creative but really well suited to what we wanted. His product knowledge was outstanding, and it was clear he genuinely knows his craft.

After just two design visits, we placed our order and the kitchen was delivered within four weeks — a brilliant turnaround. We’ve not fitted it just yet, but if it looks anything like the render Tim created, we’re in for a treat.

To sum up: our experience with Magnet Trade was absolutely five stars from start to finish. The Lichfield showroom is a fantastic place to get ideas and inspiration, and if you get the chance, ask for Tim — his service, insight, and professionalism are second to none. Magnet Trade were also surprisingly competitive on price, and we were able to get everything we wanted within our budget.

From the very first consultation, Mahitha was attentive, creative, and incredibly patient. She took our vision and transformed it into a stunning kitchen design, going through multiple iterations with a smile and ensuring every detail was just right.

Not only was her design expertise outstanding, but she also processed our order in record time and even arranged for an exceptionally fast delivery. Her professionalism, efficiency, and dedication made the entire process seamless.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store, which ultimately led me to take my business elsewhere. My partner and I visited with our 4-year-old child, who urgently needed to use the toilet. My partner and child entered the store first to ask, while I followed shortly after, unaware of where they had gone. As I walked around looking for them, the store manager approached me with a rude and unprofessional attitude, stating, “This is not a public toilet.”

I completely understand that businesses have policies regarding restroom use, but there is a right and wrong way to communicate with customers. A little courtesy and understanding—especially when dealing with a parent of a young child—would have made a huge difference. Instead, the manager chose to be abrupt, dismissive, and unwelcoming, making us feel as if we were a nuisance rather than potential customers.

After this unpleasant encounter, we decided to leave immediately and took our business to Wren, where we had a much better experience and ended up purchasing our kitchen. Good customer service is essential, and this manager could benefit from training in basic manners and professionalism. If this is how they treat people, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here.

A big thank you to Daniel at the Leatherhead store. He designed my dream kitchen to perfection and I am delighted with it. Nothing was too much trouble and he visited our property several times whilst our extension was being built to ensure everything would fit as planned. Excellent service all round

Went into the Romford trade magnet shop last week and the service I received from Sofia was amazing she is very knowledgeable and helpful answered all our questions and was very warm and welcoming

Staff are great in magnet minworth very helpful Shea did everything he could to get more of my business but unfortunately prices from other places just beat the main things I buy, would recommend speaking to Shea as he can’t do enough for you
