Speedy dispatch and good service. They've always been reliable when I've used them.
False advertising. I ordered 2 bags of mixed star beads and their definition of a mix is different to what's outlined on their website. I was promised a range of different colours and types but I have all opaque beads, a few pearl beads and no range of colours. Also there were a few little pieces of dirt or fluffy in the bag? Not happy. Although shipping was fast so if you're buying something else that's NOT a mix I would recommend! ^_^
The Bead shop Nottingham is the only place I currently order my beading equipment from + semi-precious and Czech glass beads. I love their stuff, it’s reasonable and good quality - their semi-precious beads, particularly their carnelian, is beautiful. I recently purchased two of their jewellery making kits and was so pleased by the quaint presentation and lovely items. The addition of a free teabag makes it 🫖 💎!
Bought a necklace findings kit for £4.50 to restring a necklace. Jewellers quoted £45!
Easy to order, arrived quickly and there was a brilliant video on the website showing exactly how to do it. One thing only, the 6mm jump ring for the opposite end to the clasp was too small to use easily and I used the original one from the necklace which was much bigger and easier to fasten.
Lovely little shop, with some many little trinkets for sale. Girlfriend loved it in here. One of the nice shops in Nottingham
I bought their beginners jewellery making kit from here, it came so quick with everything of high quality inside, even extras in case you made a mistake!
This is a great little shop, with excellent communication. I order online as I don't live anywhere near them ( rather sadly, as they do some great looking classes!) If there is an issue with something being out of stock they always phone to discuss. Completely recommend!
The choice and price of the products were very impressive. I was able to purchase plenty of beads and accessories to keep my daughter busy for a very reasonable price. The staff were also very friendly and helpful!
What amazing customer service!
I ordered a jewellery making kit this morning and added a note in the order explaining that it was a birthday present being sent directly to the recipient and that I hoped it was suitable for a 14 year old. I later received a call from the shop to say that they were putting the order together and were adding a birthday card so wanted to check that they had the correct names. What a LOVELY touch. I didn’t expect that at all. It immediately makes want to use them again and with Christmas around the corner, I am sure that I will.
Cannot recommend this shop highly enough. So pleased I used them rather than ordering from Amazon!
I have been purchasing from this shop for a good number of years now, mainly wire but sometimes beads too, and have never been any less than 100% satisfied. I would recommend this company to anyone!
They have a great range of stock and everything I have bought has been excellent quality and competitively priced. And the site is so easy to navigate!
When I have phoned them with enquiries they have always been very friendly and helpful. I also know that as long as I place my order early in the day (I think their cut off time is 1.00 p.m.) and pay for First Class postage I will receive it the next day. A great bonus when you suddenly realise that you've nearly run out of the wire you need for your project!
And a welcome touch in this day and age – there’s always a hand written thank you on the invoice:)
