Superb company, efficient, communicative, as online as you need and also as phoneable as you need. Very competitive pricing - beat everyone else I’ve ever used hands down. Highly recommended.

Paid £180 for Gabion York Stone. What i received was more like DOT1 hardcore. Most of the bag was either small pebble size or just aggregated slush. Managing Director didn't seem to want to own the problem so i had to involve my credit card company.

After going to all the trouble of emptying out all the sludge they wanted me to refill the bag again so they could collect it. 850kg hand balling out and then back in again. They even said they would weigh it to check I wasn't diddling them!

They never even apologised.

Was accused by their MD of running some kind of scam whereby I get a few stones for free. Thats a new one on me.

What an outfit!

Cancelled an order with 24 hrs noticed but was still charged £700 for cancelation even though the lorries were not even loaded yet....
Cancellations were due to dodgy tradesmen unable to do the quoted work. Unfortunately it had nothing to do with planning but idiot tradesmen!

Ordered 3 bulk bags of Lancashire pebble 20/40mm. I can’t fault the communication, service or quality of the product. I had my delivery day emailed & the driver called 1 hour in advance to tell me when he would arrive. All 3 pallets put exactly where I wanted. It was faultless.

In a time when materials aren’t always available and take an age to be delivered this was a breath of fresh air. Received on the promised day by a great driver who placed the 2 bulk bags exactly where I wanted them. Product exactly as described. Thank you

I was looking for some 20mm-30mm pink granite chippings but couldn’t find any on line. Compared prices for smaller 14mm-20mm and Mainland Aggregates appeared good value. Ordered three 850kg bulk bags. Arrived on the day advised and the delivery driver was really friendly and helpful, placing the pallets exactly where I wanted them. To my surprise the chippings were the larger 20-30/40mm size, so well chuffed. The bags were well filled and the quality of the granite was consistent from top to bottom and across all three bags. Just wish there was an easier way of getting over 2.5 tonnes of the product out of the bulk bags and 40 metres to the end of the garden other than a shovel, buckets and a wheel barrow. Very happy but knackered. Would recommend Mainland Aggregates and would certainly use them again

This is my 3rd order from you guys and the only thing I can criticise is that the first 2 times the pallets were damaged on delivery. But this time it seemed a stronger one which is good.

I recently used a competitor who couldn’t deliver on time and I’m sure the bag wasn’t full. It was nice to come back to you and get a smooth and perfect service!

We found this company online after visiting many local garden and DIY centres who quoted extortionate prices for delivery or the pebbles themselves. This company were reasonably priced on both counts, delivery was within a few days and the driver left them exactly where we asked, highly recommend this company.
