Second visit to High Barnet Branch and second long wait for food. As I write we’re at the 1 hour mark waiting. Service is average at best. Offered free drinks no one wanted. Starving! ruined Valentine’s Day. Won’t be coming back.
We booked for a family group Christmas Dinner and paid £540+ for six. We thought it was specially for Christmas day but they had many walk ins who ate Italian food. The Festive Menue up to Christmas eve lunch was Only £38 for virtually the same menu as the Christmas day lunch.
We were disappointed with the lack lustre cardboard crackers. We considered myself trapped as we had no where else to go. We had already paid a substantial deposit and prevent ordered our menu choices. They had no Parma Ham, no crab meat or Lobster bisque and only one very small piece of Christmas pudding! Main meal did not have "all the trimmings" no stuffing or pigs in blankets.
Did not feel special at all.
Uncaring incompetent management as they must have known the day before that they were short of items and could have bought in.
I cannot recommend this place for Christmas Day Lunch.
Go up to Christmas Eve and will not have to pay £52 extra each for the same meal!
