Terrible customer service
placed an order with Manasi on July 25 for a large amount of makeup. On July 30, they informed me that they were unfortunately out of stock but could ship the items on August 6. This doesn’t work for me as I will be on vacation for 3 weeks, so I asked them to cancel my order. At the same time, I ordered all the products from another website that could deliver before my vacation.
Three hours later, I received an email from Maria in customer service, informing me that she cannot cancel my order as they actually have the items in stock and the previous email was sent by mistake. She also mentioned that they could delay sending the package until I return from my vacation. This still doesn't work for me as I need the products for my trip, so I reiterated my request to cancel the order. Maria responded that I cannot cancel the order according to their terms and conditions.
I am very disappointed with the customer service I have received.
1. Their email communication is unreliable.
2. I am unable to cancel my order.
3. They charged my account before shipping the items (the amount was withdrawn on the same day the order was placed).
4. They cannot cancel orders, but they can delay shipping them.
I have never encountered such poor customer service from an online store before.
