Seems to be scam-fishing
Seems to be scam - I got mail from Mangopay, which claims that I have to renew my Peerby account. For reasons to prevent costs to re-activate this account. Strange: with this/ my account nothing refers to a closing or any claims for re-installing-costs!!
Unable to access funds
Same experience as others on this forum!! Unable to withdraw funds from Vinted account. Asked to complete PEP form and nothing happens! Subsequently asked to complete ID form which shows success!! Again nothing happens and Vinted just tell me to be patient!! Been going on since early January and we’re talking £53 here! Totally unacceptable and Mango Pay just don’t care. Honestly, it’s more like dealing with a Govt Dept. than a commercial organisation!! Have now contacted my MP since this seems widespread and needs to be sorted by Vinted management due to the detrimental effect it’s having on their reputation!

I want my money
I have tried to take out my money, and have received a Pep form, I've filled in the form, sent ID, and still get refused access to my money, 1st excuse being form not readable, 2nd excuse ID require (ID certified) 3rd excuse resend paper work as not clear. Form sent again. I have tried to purchase, and been refused due to fraud laws.

The interface between MangoPay and…
The interface between MangoPay and Vinted is awful, I had to verify my id, which I did and passed then I had to fill in a pep form to “prove” I wasn’t a politically exposed person, Vinted have no mechanism for uploading the form in its pdf format so you have to take a photo of each page then nothing happens, no update, unable to withdraw money, unable to buy goods, they complain if you chase it up. After 5 weeks I sent email to legalatvintedcom and also contacted MangoPay directly, they said I need to fill in pep form, and sent me one filled in with someone’s details including name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, place of birth etc. I explained already done and Vinted then sent me an email with a pep form to fill in and send back, which I did and within a hour or two was able to access my money.

Unresponsive Sales Team
I reached out through your form for an initial conversation about integrating your payment services into our project, which is currently running on test systems and isn’t public yet. It’s puzzling to receive a rejection for an early-stage project when all I was asking for was an initial discussion. I can’t help but wonder: did a staff member perhaps make an error, simply not feel like reviewing my request properly, or is there a general lack of interest in engaging with new customers? I hope these questions can be addressed to improve the experience for future inquiries.

MangoPay and ArchOver - sudden death
Payments suddenly stopped. ArchOver waffle about extra ID checks suddenly required by MangoPay, but payments were working for years, and my identity and bank account have not changed in those years.
Are MangoPay suddenly trying to cover their behinds due to massive fraud? Is there a huge scandal about to break? With zero communication except for generic waffle, who knows what's really going on.

Theft of funds - mangopay and vinted
If I could give this company and Vinted a minus score I would .This whole process is affecting my health and business I have the exact same situation as many on here .I am a Vinted Pro customer and I cannot access my funds using the same account I have used for the past 12 mths. Very unhelpful responses from Vinted and Mangopay. Just a number of different replies from the AI bots from the useless to ridiculous ,that the issue is under investigation this has gone on for over a month.

Mangopay has been holding my funds for a month now…
Mangopay has been holding my Vinted funds hostage for a month now.
Since January 6 I've been trying to transfer funds (the princely sum of €450: big money, huh?) to my usual account, the same they transferred money thrice last year, but to no avail.
First they asked for ID, and I provided a state-issue ID card: in Italy, this card does not have to show the current residence address so, since I moved a year ago, that's different than the one on file on Vinted, and that rubbed'em all wrong.
So I sent'em (as they require) a valid passport, but that wasn't enough either, so they asked for a current utility bill, which I provided days ago.
My money are still nowhere to be seen because, according to the geniuses at Mangopay I'm either laundering money or I am a terrorist. All this over €450: El Chapo I am not, nor Isis.
In the meantime, first Team Vinted, then Sed, then George and finally John, are informing me that they forwarded the bill to Mangopay and wishing me a nice day. Of course they're all AI-based bots, but they get all fussy when one's language gets heated up. Poor dears, it's not their money on the line, after all.
Abysmal service, steer away from these scammers.

Avoid if you can
Having made a sale on Vinted I found myself in a world of mental pain trying to complete a form proving I am not involved in money laundering and funding terrorism. I did try to complete the form which I found very intrusive but gave up when I couldn’t fill in the required fields from my iPhone. I just decided to write off my money it just wasn’t worth the effort.

SCAM by Mangopay:
SCAM by Mangopay:
after having forwarded me the money obtained from a sale made through Wallapop, Mangopay asked my bank Revolut to return that money (which is mine).
Revolut asked me for proof of the origin of the money, but in those days access to my account was strangely blocked, so not being able to provide proof of the sale made with Wallapop, Revolut returned the money to Mangopay.
Now I would expect to see the money returned to my Wallapop wallet, instead Wallapop tells me that they have not asked for any return of my money.
So Mangopay stole my money.
Complaint to the highest authorities coming for Mangopay.

Subject: Urgent: Unauthorized Chargeback – Immediate Resolution Required
Dear Mangopay Team,
Your response is disappointing and evasive. The facts are clear:
1. Mangopay transferred my funds from a sale on Wallapop to my bank account.
2. After the transfer, Mangopay requested a chargeback from Revolut without any valid reason.
3. Revolut, unable to verify the origin of the funds due to my account being temporarily blocked, returned the money to Mangopay.
4. Despite this, my Wallapop wallet has not been credited back, and Wallapop has confirmed that they did not request any chargeback.
So where is my money?
Mangopay has taken my funds without any legal or contractual justification. This is not a simple support issue; this is a clear case of unauthorized fund withdrawal, which constitutes financial misconduct.
If this issue is not resolved immediately by either reinstating the funds to my Wallapop wallet or returning them to my bank account, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter further, including:
• Filing formal complaints with financial regulatory authorities such as the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority, UK) and ACPR (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution, France).
• Reporting Mangopay’s practices to European consumer protection agencies.
• Contacting legal counsel to assess legal action for unauthorized fund withdrawal and financial fraud.
• Publicly exposing this issue through online platforms, consumer forums, and social media.
I expect a clear and prompt resolution. Please provide an immediate response explaining how you will rectify this situation.
Best regards

Very frustrated with Mangopay and Vinted who uses…
Very frustrated with Vinted who uses Mangopay. My money will not transfer to my bank account. I’ve tried so many times but still cannot withdraw the sum. This has put me off using Vinted in the future. Vinted don’t respond only use robotic answers which do not help. Will Mangopay step in and review what is going on with mine and countless other people’s vinted accounts?
WE NEED HUMAN INTERVENTION NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Theft of money - mangopay and vinted
If I could give this company and Vinted a minus 5 score I would. This whole process has had me stressed. Reading the reviews, particularly Helen Price's, I have had the exact same situation. Very unhelpful vinted with some very bizarre responses and cannot even get through to mangopay. This PEP form is very strange and has no relevance to me getting my money.. I have tried multiple times to retrieve my money and its fails each time. I was told I was verified once I had sent my drivers license in and then I had to fill in the PEP form. This has gone on for weeks now and still have not been able to get my money. It won't even let me use my balance to pay for any items. I will be taking this to the FCA as this is theft. Just imagine how much interest they are making from all OUR monies.

Very worried about Mangopay
I am a private seller on Vinted. I’ve never had any problems and have stellar reviews. Today I discovered that my account had been locked. Vinted’s (very unhelpful) customer service informed me that this was not their action, but an action by Mangopay, who required some personal details before any money could move into or out of my Vinted account. Vinted sent me a link to a form about ‘Politically Exposed Persons’. It had some of the strangest questions on it I’ve ever seen. I’m a retired civil servant and now a full time carer for my disabled mother. I’ve never even been a member of a political party. Vinted can’t or won’t explain why I was asked to complete this form. Nor will Mangopay. Vinted have money which is mine and I they won’t let me withdraw it. This strikes me as theft. I have submitted Subject Data Access Requests to both Vinted and Mangopay and am going to contact the FCA. I don’t know what Mangopay are up to, but looking at the reviews here I’m very concerned.

Negative at first - then they were nothing but helpful.
I'm giving them 4 stars because they helped me with the verification process on Vinted. Vinted was completely useless and unhelpful from start to finish. I did have to get MangoPay's attention by making a formal complaint, but once it was acknowledged, they were helpful and responsive. I was helped by Marion and Sandrine - both professional and knowledgable.
Now, if you're a business that transitioned to VintedPro and had to go through the verification process, here's some advice for you:
- Download Certificate of Incorporation from Companies Website (all pages) for the Articles of Association.
- Proof of registration is the latest confirmation statement, also from the Companies House.
I had to additionally add UBO details, despite not having to do this when setting up the Pro account. UBO details must match with the legal rep details. I hope this helps. My verification passed after the 11th time... Good luck!
