Do not trust manitowoc ice.
I purchased a manitowoc ice machine. It broke a few months after the purchase. It was covered by warranty, I called, their technical team figured out the problem on the phone call. They gave me names of companies that could fix it under warranty, I called, but they could not come for a week. This is needed for my business, so I called back. I asked if I could have my normal refrigeration company fix it, The person who answered the phone at the main number said that they could, they would just have to fill out the paperwork for the warranty. So I had them fix it. When I called back to get the required paperwork for my contractor to fill out, as they had directed, they said that only their factory authorized companies could do the work, despite what they had told me, and they then said that the parts and labor were not covered and that I would have to pay for the repair of my 2 month old machine. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. If I ever buy an ice machine again it will be from HOSHIZAKI, whom you can trust, and you can believe what they tell you.
