5* all round. The team here make it even more enjoyable

Parking is free on side the road outside The Manor Hotel. On entering the hotel you are greeted by a very fresh spacious Blue reception. Staff are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. There is a lift to all floors. There is a relaxing feel to the hotel with its own bar (Hat or Lemon) and restaurant. Prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. The rooms are clean, dressed tastefully and the bathrooms are very clean. This has to be one of the most enjoyable stays we've had for a very long time with genuinely friendly staff. 5 mins from the beach through a lovely park opposite and 5 mins from the town centre. All this and the hotel had 250 guest to entertain in their venue hall due to an event. Brilliant place.

Nice location and staff was…

Nice location and staff was accommodating when I wanted to stay an extra night. Bed was comfy I think that's it with the positives. I payed £30 for a breakfast to which when the day arrived for the breakfast me my partner and my children had come down with a stomach bug. I explained this to the hotel staff to which they stated they would refund me. 5 days on and still no refund. No correspondence from the hotel when I have emailed them. There was a party at the hotel on the Saturday night which went on to gone 12 in the night. It was extremely loud which woke up my 1 year old. When I went downstairs and outside for a cigarette there were groups of young rowdy intoxicated people all hanging around outside and when I went to go up the stairs to get back to my room the stairs was blocked as they were all sitting on the stairs being rude not moving and quite aggressive towards me when I did ask them to move. So I had to use the lift instead to get back to my room. I did feel very intimated if I am being honest. It's an ok hotel for its location and nothing else more. It seems like a party hotel and is definitely not suitable to take your children or family too no care or respect for the actual customers residing there.

Spent a very happy and comfortable time…

Spent a very happy and comfortable time at this hotel as part of our 30th Anniversary celebrations. Even though it was the peak of low season the staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms airy and comfortable. The hotel has recently been refurbished and redecorated which was a bonus. Oh and the breakfast was excellent, served at the table and with top quality contents.
