Second visit wasn’t as good
I’ve previously stayed at this hotel, a matter of 2weeks ago, which was a fabulous experience. However, having rebooked for a second visit the service and facilities were not up to standard. The room lacked the additional facilities that were given on my previous visit, namely a coffee machine. They then force you to pay for coffee in their cafe.
I called reception to ask why the facility wasn’t available and was told it never existed!
Also, slippers and a dressing gown were previously provided, which is included in the Superior room package. Again, non were available to me.
I would advise not to pay the additional cost to upgrade. It’s a farce. Reception wasn’t helpful and denied my previous experience. Having booked 2 rooms here I wouldn’t recommend based on my recent experience.
Breakfast is charged the same price as having room service.
