Manrose Inferior Products!

Can’t believe I had to give this company any stars! I have bought 2 Manrose 100t in-line fans. Unfortunately they don’t last. When working they are ok but the timer circuit keeps failing . I’ve had four replacements in all of the actual circuit boards and have had no joy through Manrose themselves regarding replacements. According to various forums on the net this is an ongoing problem that Manrose refuse to address. They have no customer service and choose to hide rather than reply to these comments.

Non existent customer service

Non existent customer service, tried technical, sales and Clive Bishop the guy who is supposedly in charge via the feedback email address, no response from any of them.
Just trying to get them to sell me an LED driver for the light in our shower extractor, because it's important to get the right one for safety reasons.
No one stocks this spare, and I'm not prepared to fork out for the whole unit just to get the driver.
So annoying, I have the money, they have the part, so where's the problem?
What's wrong with this company?

Been buying Manrose fans for years Top Quality Top Service

Been buying Manrose fans for years, never had to use the warrenty, quality has been perfect. Unfortunatly I did have to use their warrenty, and their customer services was unbelievable quick witha ny hassle at all. WIll definitely continue using their products in future

Two Failures in Under Five Years—Durability Is Non-Existent

I purchased and installed three Manrose extractor fans expecting reasonable longevity, especially for a standard household item. Unfortunately, the reliability of these units has been shockingly poor.
Within less than five years of installation, two out of the three fans have completely failed. This failure rate—more than 66%—is completely unacceptable for any product, let alone a permanent fixture like an extractor fan. I strongly caution anyone looking for a durable, long-term solution against buying this brand.
To compound the issue, when I reached out to customer service regarding the second failure, I was informed that the guarantee period is only three years, and replacements require the original proof of purchase. While I understand policies, a fan failing this quickly suggests a fundamental quality control issue, not a reasonable wear-and-tear problem. The company's stance indicates an unwillingness to stand behind a product that clearly is not fit for purpose beyond a very limited window.
I will not be purchasing Manrose products again. The cost of replacing these fans far outweighs any initial savings, and the experience has been highly disappointing.

Poor response

Bought manrose bathroom extractor fan which failed within a year. Made two online complaint but didn’t receive a response.
Rang again in March and spoke to Aralan to complain about the product. He asked for proof of purchase which I coulnt provide as Screwfix do not keep records for more than 8 months. I sent him photos of the failed unit but he wouldn’t accept it. I would have been able to provide proof of purchase when I first made the online complaint!
My plea for replacement/ refund was in vain despite informing them that I had bought 5 extractor fans for my rental property!

Great customer service from Viktoria

Great customer service from Viktoria, our bathroom fan is broken and she send one out straight. After that she confirmed the guarantee date which is extremely helpful. Definitely will but from them again if needed.

I bought an extractor fan and the dial…

I bought an extractor fan and the dial on the variable resistor used to set the humidity was made out of that really soft plastic - it sheared off. I contacted their website to ask if there is a repair or a replacement part I can order - and they ignored me. I found the resistor can be turned with a hex-key but the product manual doesn't at all explain the 3 modes set by the pull-cord, so I am left guessing whether it would even work if I fixed the resistor.

Non-existent customer support

We purchased a Manrose humidistat for our new shower room. Although it does switch the shower fan on, it doesn't stay on continuously until the humidity is below the set value, instead it cycles on and off.
I emailed their technical team 2 weeks ago now to seek some advice and support, still had no response, not even an acknowledgement. So, a week ago, I emailed their senior management team to escalate my enquiry, but have had nothing back from them either!
Have to say, I'm regretting my purchase, especially as it wasn't a cheap item and am genuinely appalled at Manrose's ignorance.

Excellent service

Builder installed our bathroom extractor fan in Jan 2017. When it broke down, I contacted Manrose directly as it was under 5 years warranty. They were so kind and immediately arranged for a replacement the same day.

Great customer service

We needed a replacement bathroom fan a few years ago and got an electrician to do the job. Some years on we can't remember who did the job and have found no paperwork from it.
The replaced item was a Manrose fan but this, too, started to make a noise so I looked on their site to buy a replacement as I thought it would be easier to fit an identical one. I noticed it said there was a 5 year no questions asked guarantee - I believe our fan is around 4 years old? Anyway, despite having no receipt, they are sending me a new one, having asked for numbers from it instead. Excellent customer service in this day and age. Well done Manrose!

Manrose popular fan with bad design

Manrose is very popular extractor fan, the company do not want to invest in new design for the chipset, very poor design for the chipset, very confusing how to set the timer. These are simple problems to solve, but the company do not want to take any action.

Excellent after sales service

Excellent after sales service. Had an in line shower fan go faulty within warranty, tech did some quick trouble shooting over the phone before arranging a replacement on a next day service. Excellent quick and easy turnaround without any hassle to the end user. Things go wrong, it's life but it's how good you are at correcting them that counts and Manrose I have to say we're simply excellent.

Excellent Customer/Technical support

I cannot fault Manrose. A fan gave up technical helped however the fan's life was done. I sent serial numbers from inside and they asked me how long I had had it, I said 18 months thinking there is only a 12 month warranty and they said it has 2 years and replaced without an issue.
2nd time have dealt with them...

Good service, rare these days

Purchased a fan from a company that I have already left a negative review for.
Contacted the manufacturer of this fan and I received a reply the following day first thing.
There seemed to be a problem with the circuit board .They promised to send me a new circuit board by return.
I havnt received it yet as this was only yesterday , but by the promt positive response I received I have confidence
That this will happen.
Ill update as and when necessary.
