Contact info

For 13 years I have been regularly contacting Mapquest to update our business address and phone number. They acknowledge that I have submitted the correct information but have yet to correct thier inaccurate listing. They are trying to have me pay a service they are affiliated with to update the info. Basically blackmail. They are a bad business.
They Want Your Money and they will get it.
Unfortunate turn of events. They've chosen to restrict access to the free option without requiring a payment method. What's particularly irksome is the email they sent, which reads: "Hello there, We're thrilled to inform you of an exciting update regarding your free subscription with Mapquest Developer Services. We are introducing a new subscription that will make it easier and more flexible to continue enjoying our services." This appears to be a significant deception, attempting to lure users in with a free trial only to later impose restrictions and create dependency.
Mapquest is inaccurate and doesn't care
The major GPS services (Apple, Bing, Google Maps) have free tools that business owners can use to correct errors and ensure an accurate location on the map they provide. Not Mapquest! I've been trying since 2017 to get them to fix misleading, potentially dangerous errors in the driving directions they give our clients. It became an urgent issue recently when a business partner started issuing automatically generated Mapquest directions to our location, which confused and misled people. But when I appeal to Mapquest support, they claim to be helpless. They got the location data from another company, they say, so I'll have to contact them. So I do that, but the "other company" (Yext) doesn't actually generate that data. Yext suggested other companies to contact, so I'm continuing my detective work to fix Mapquest's bad data. Meanwhile, the only tangible result of my contact with Mapquest has been the creation of a second map location for our business, located very precisely behind a vacant grocery store next to a dumpster. My experience has taught me to shun Mapquest, to advise others to avoid it, and to plead with one business partner to please, please find a new mapping service.

My sister and I were enroute to Windsor Ont when her car broke down. We got it towed to Rose City Ford. Their service to us was excellent, They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and got us on our way the next day. Hats off to Robert Primeau the Service Advisor. Great to have good service. 5 Stars

This site has taken me in the complete wrong direction of my destination. I wasted much energy and time on turnarounds to go in the right direction. Many times it gave the wrong direction to the freeway which is practically next to my starting point. Will be looking for a new site for locations.
Use with much care
Several times I have tried to find a route in the UK from Sheffield to Suffolk and each time the page starts in the USA and amends my starting point to Sheffield Massachusetts!. Even when I move the map to show the UK it still takes me back to the USA. In desperation
I amended the webpage from .com to .uk and it still directed me to Sheffield Massachusetts. I have never come across such a useless route planner.
