A useless website. I tried to pay for a map using Paypal. This resulted in the sale being cancelled with no explanation. I then tried to bring this to the companies attention, but the only way, other than telephone, is via a web form. Trying to submit this results in an endless cycle of captcha images. So I gave up.
I'll find a site that actually works.

Appalled at how shockingly fragile they are. Avoid at all costs.

Map arrived with pre-scratched flags and ripped coming out of the tube (over-tight roll). I was told it was my fault “handling the map.” That’s not acceptable—posters should slide out safely.

I placed an order for a large world map, and this was delivered two days later. On unpacking it, I noticed that the item had a large 45cm crease and dent on the top right hand area. I sent an email with a photo to Maps International, and I received an email from Kate in the Customer Support Team the following morning. Kate offered me a full refund or a replacement without hesitation, and she then arranged for a replacement to be shipped, which arrived the very next day. The customer service from Kate was exceptional, and the product is beautiful. First class service from a first class company who I would highly recommend.

Large map arrived in a sturdy tube but creased when unravelled. Contacted immediately and solution provided. Professional, quick acting and understanding. This is why I will always shop at such respected companies. This is a trustworthy company.

I ordered a huge map and it is absolutely beautiful, I am very impressed with the quality of the print and the colours - really really nice! I had to contact customer service a couple of times and every interaction with them was very pleasant, they were super helpful and very polite. A lovely company with very high quality prints!! Would definitely recommend!

I recently purchased a large laminated political European map from Maps International. When it arrived, it was a lovely product, but the wrong map.
This was when the true professionalism of Kate and the company kicked in….. she acknowledged my email immediately, arranged for the correct item to be sent, and did all this in a way that was of absolute minimum of inconvenience to me. So, in many ways the hiccup just went to show the ‘oh so rare’ genuine customer care that this company delivers. Great product, exceptional service. Would heartily recommend.

Ordered a very large framed pinboard map. Arrived damaged. The packaging was fine. But the map inside was bent and creased across the middle. Communication was excellent, and the map was refunded. However, whilst on the phone, the chap I spoke to said this was a common issue. And that the maps flex within the packaging in transit. I politely suggest that the packaging is improved to prevent this happening. Maybe some support across the middle of the oversize products? I was offered either a replacement or refund. As it appears to happen often, I opted for the refund. Which was deposited back in my account speedily. Although, I would have preferred the map. I have to start the search over again.

I love my new large world map! It has already created an interest for my younger grandchildren who love to point out different countries and holiday destinations! The muted colours really do enable it to fit in with my neutral decor! Arrived beautifully packaged and earlier than I expected. A really good experience. Now that I know the quality I’m going to order the classic Great Britain map too!

Great map good price, reliable delivery

I was not happy with your service as I have been misled. I found a product on your website, I ordered it and paid for it. I later received an email from a member of this service informing me that the item I ordered was cancelled as not available.
I asked if this could be reordered again, but unfortunately I was told it would not be possible. This was a misleading and unfair service to falsely advertised a product on sale and when ordered to not been able to purchase it.

Great item and extraordinary customer service.

Update 16 January - DHL finally delivered the map on Monday, 15 January. Apparently it had been in the depot awaiting delivery. Their customer service finally also replied today to the emails as well. They were sorry for inconvenience but records show its been delivered...
The map itself is fantastic and the customisation makes it that little bit more special. Despite the external packaging being a bit dented in places the internal packing kept the map safe and intact. So in fairness to Lovell Johns they have done their best to resolve this and their communication with me has been first class. A pity that issues with DHL affected what is an excellent product but it did demonstrate that Lovell Johns clearly understands what good customer service is.

From the outset there was confusion re actual despatch (9 Jan) and estimated delivery (10 Jan) dates from Lovell Johns Ltd; coupled with DHL advising on 2 Jan that they had collected it on 29 Dec but that delivery now delayed and expected to deliver on next working day. 4 January update from DHL advised parcel now in Edinburgh delivery depot. 5 January Lovell Johns Ltd advise the item has still to be made and is due to ship 6 January and DHL hasn't actually got the parcel. 9 January Lovell Johns Ltd advised they had made a mistake and parcel with DHL. DHL apparently conducting a lost parcel search and will updated in 48 hours. 11 Jan Lovell Johns Ltd advise that it "looks like they (DHL) have found it and it will be delivered today". Needless to say nothing arrived and DHL website info hasn't changed since the parcel allegedly arrived in Edinburgh on 4 January. So I have given up and cancelled order and refund has been processed.
