If I could give a zero I would. The whole experience has been awful and I fully regret buying the home. From the delay of over a year to the lies we were told. The Aftersales has been shocking as well and they have given us the total bare minimum support.

I brought my first home recently with Marden, aftercare has been nothing but a joke. No information provided to set up the property. Have a traffic light system for things that are wrong in the property, which they can take up to a year to fix which is appalling. I’ve chased daily for two weeks to get basic information which I’m yet to receive. Would not recommend buying through them

Brought my first home with Marden Homes at Wimbush Water. Really pathetic aftersales service. Sent them a list of items that need to be taken care of but every time I get the same answer that they are yet to start booking jobs for aftersales. I would never recommend buying homes for Marden Homes.

I find Marden Homes very easy to work with. They are a great company with very helpful and frendly staff.

BOYLES COURT Development in Brentwood was recently a secure unit called Leverton Hall (essentially a child prison) attached to a lovely country house in extensive lands called Boyles Court. Previously it was a children's assessment centre and home for wayward children before being moved on to children's homes and suchlike etc. I was there in early 70s a few times.

They quite rightly pulled down the soul destroying secure unit hidden at the back of Boyles Court and then put the entire plot up for sale. This latest incarnation that Marden are selling has once again rebuilt what is essentially the walled in secure unit once again and slapped a silly price tag on each property (terraced house £1.5m) for those silly enough to pay for voluntary incarceration in an old lags unit. Come on Marden shirley you have a bit more imagination then that and stop trying, once again, to destroy the lovely Boyles Court. I just cannot believe anyone would get paid for this nonsense design let alone be able to sell them to gullible folk with more money then sense. All thats missing are the watchtowers.

The secure unit was an abomination which ruined the lovely site.
