Was reasonable now it’s pretty poor after updates and unless the app is significantly improved I won’t be renewing.

I've enjoyed this app for years. It's lay now is very hard to use . I feel quite disappointed with this update, have decided to cancel my subscription .

The new update is beyond terrible. Marine Traffic development team, listen to your mariners and do better. Issues I’ve had deal with zooming and clutter. Some of the vessels don’t show up until you zoom into max, should not be the car for a tug the size I’m on. Same issues on some larger vessels as well. Signed up for the free trial to see if that was better, same issues and the charts is so cluttered you can see vessels. I clicked on to remove ATONs and looked not a thing was removed.

I am with so many others on this. The latest update has ruined what was an enjoyable app to use. Anyone new to the app, since the update will have probably deleted it soon after installation. What have you done Kpler? So many one star reviews since the update and, nearly 2 months on, you've not sorted it. Do you read the reviews? Bin it, roll back and think again. Disappointed.

The updated version is terrible and not usable. Am canceling my subscription

Have used it for work for the past 9-10 years, but now, sadly, had to switch to vessel finder - which, in my opinion, cannot be compared to the old version of marinetraffic, but by far better since Kpler changed the app - as the new update completely destroyed what used to be a reliable app.

A wonderful easy to use App for decades.
This current upgrade is absolutely abysmal.
Whoever approved it should be sacked.
Kepler should immediately remove it and reinstate a previous version.

What a disgrace to be the software developer of the new MarineTraffic app.
You guys killed a very well made app. I will find a better replacement and never look back.

Marine traffic used to be very handy app
I used it every day.
They have ruined it now I need to find a different app.
Taking away useful features and added stupidity and coast👎👎👎👎

People making app like that and those who decided that that should be fired.
90% of the settings have disappeared, never seen any screwed update like that. I don’t even know where to start to explain what is wrong such the mistakes list is enormous… What a mess…
This is what happens when one day suddenly you think it’s a good idea to change everything without a good reason, the app was perfect as it was. Well done for ruining your app!

The latest update (as per 28th of march ‘26) makes the app pretty awful.

I’m consider switching to a different app.

What absolute trash this new app is. As a professional mariner this is unusable for commercial or recreational purposes. Kpler needs to revert back to the original app and fire whoever decided to make all these dreadful changes. Most likely someone that has no marine experience and sits behind a desk thinking their a know everything 20 year old punk!

Since being taken over by Kpler Marine Traffic has been destroyed. It was my goto App. It is now third rate. If you want to follow cruises use cruisemapper.com. It's brilliant.(their app is not so good). To follow all other shipping use vesselfinder. Far better than Marine Traffic. Shame Marine Traffic was destroyed by kpler, a company who is only interested in making money.

What a terrible new app ; agreeing what everyone else are saying. Even making you pay for a inferior app.I’m finishing when the free trial ends.Why change when all working well on the old app

Ruined by new update. Basic vessel info now missing and limited tools available

Bring back the previous version! Not only is the monochrome map unhelpful, with no detail on the land, the map still shows many vessels a day or more out of date to clutter up the overall picture. Definitely now of limited use.

What on earth have you done to the app !!??? The latest update is awful with a capital AW . The old version was 10 times better and more user friendly. New one doesnt show the variable speeds the boats do . Also my fleet section is full with only 15 vessels and I’m unable to add more . Woeful woeful update the worst ever . PLEASE let us have the old version back 🙏🏻 . I am presently searching for a different ship tracker and there’s a few about then I’m cancelling my subscription

New format is dreadful.Stopped using it,its so bad
