I would give a rating of 6 stars, if I could. Just last week I bought a brand new Seal U from BTS St Neots. I was lucky enough to have Alom Ali as my sales representative during the process.
Throughout the entire sales process, Alom was an absolute legend. He was able to answer every question that I had (even super specific ones), was always quick to respond and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed accurately and quickly. On the day of the handover, Alom was super helpful by showing me everything there is to know about the car.
Everyone at BYD St Neots was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

JLR In Leicester is one of the most inept, unprofessional car dealers I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Sales awful, after sales awful, service centre awful, repair centre awful. If it wasn't for the brand name, no one would ever touch this dealership. Its the first and last time I will buy a Land Rover/Range Rover and that is solely down to JLR Leicester. Back to BMW for me once I can part with this thing I was sold.

We have dealt with Marshall Nissan at Lincoln for several years, and usually been very happy.
However, in March we decided to upgrade our Nissan E-Power to a higher specification. We had taken out an Extended Warranty on our previous car, which wasn’t due to start until September 2027. We were told that we would be entitled to a full refund.
Three months later we are still waiting for our money. Emails to the dealership go unanswered. An official complaint to the compliance department, sent two weeks ago was acknowledged, but nothing since.
All we want is to be acknowledged and details of when we will get our refund.

2★ is generous. My experience at this dealership was genuinely disappointing from start to finish.
Here is why:
I visited on Saturday to view an E‑Pace. Despite walking in ready to buy, I was treated like an inconvenience because they were “running an event.” No appointment = no interest. I was left waiting long enough that I walked out, only to be followed to my car by a salesperson who’d clearly been told to chase me.
I booked an appointment for the next day at 1pm and drove 20 miles home. Returned Sunday at 1:13pm (traffic), checked in… and was left sitting again. At 1:34 I asked for an update and was told my salesperson was still tied up with another customer.
Another salesperson eventually stepped in — polite, helpful, and the only reason this isn’t a 1★ review. But even then, the car they showed me was filthy, scratched, and completely unprepared. They test‑drove my car but didn’t offer me a test drive in theirs. Then they valued my BMW at £9,000 despite Cinch offering £10,940 for the same model.
After wasting two days and two 20‑mile trips, I received an email saying they were “sorry they couldn’t help” and would “go to any length” to find my next car. The irony speaks for itself.
Save your time. This dealership is not worth the effort.

Having mentioned on here the mess with dealing with the Marshall Motor Group (Audi Oxford), where they insist that I pay for repair works that have failed immediately on my Audi Q5 & are withholding the vehicle, I got a reply asking for further details on the 2nd June. I replied and true to form, Marshall have completed ignored me. Please avoid this company at all costs as, unfortunately like me, you will regret it!

Really poor experience and we won’t be back. Pre booked a test drive of a car we had seen advertised online. After travelling some distance to the specified showroom and arriving at the appointed time, we were kept waiting for about an hour and the car clearly wasn’t ready. Eventually we were told that it had a flat battery, and could be ‘viewed but not driven’. It was covered in cobwebs and the upholstery dirty. After I grumbled a bit, they got it running and we road tested it, but by then we had lost confidence in them.

Spent 30k on a Etron 6 weeks ago, I have had the car a total of 8 days. Been in and out of loan cars as it has a critical battery fault. Have rejected the car within the 30 days under the consumer rights act, and they have refused it. Took my money, and I don’t have a car I paid for. Appalling customer service and shoddy vehicles. Super disappointing for a main dealer Oxford Audi

Ross was our designated sales consultant from point of enquiry to collection/handover. He was informative and provided a comprehensive video of the Volvo XC60 Ultra detailing all aspects interior & exterior with all the functionality available for this model - we found this invaluable as we were located 70 miles away and could clearly see the true condition. Ross patiently guided us through the whole purchase & part exchange process and provided updates when necessary. As promised on collection the vehicle was valeted inside/outside to an excellent standard, the handover process was smooth and Ross discussed all the information required re car functionality, car tax, warranty, after-sales, etc. Having experienced other Volvo dealerships, I would highly recommend Marshall’s @ Grantham for their customer service, sales (competitive with part exchange) and they delivered as promised. Thank you Ross!!

I have had a very poor and frustrating experience when using the Wimbledon branch to carry out a service on my A5. My normal service centre is Audi Finchley Road but I ended up going to this branch because they had availability to carry out a service at least 2 weeks earlier than any other London dealership. There was a mix up in the details provided when booking the service such that my time only allowed for the service to be completed but not the inspection which I agreed would need to be completed at a later date. No one was to blame for the initial mix up and the service was completed without issue.
In December 25 I wanted to have the inspection completed. This was the start of the troubles that followed. Marshall have a centralised booking centre and they explained that I would need to special directly to the Wimbledon branch (understood and no issue with that) and they would request a call back to me from the Wimbledon branch. No call back was received so I had to call back and start the process again. In fact I had to call back 3 further times as the promised call back never materialised. This went on until into January when I finally received an email from the manager of Wimbledon branch finally inviting me to choose a time for the inspection which was finally carried out in early February. The site manager admitted they had numerous service issues with significant staff turnover and he had recently come into the branch to resolve/improve the service. I had no issues with the inspection but after the results were explained to me I was promised that the report would be emailed onto me. However this never happened. I followed up on three occasions, by email directly to the branch manager, requesting a copy of the promised report, but i never received a response and finally gave up.
The work undertaken by Marshall Wimbledon was without issue but I would highly recommend that you think very carefully before using this branch as the chance of suffering poor service cannot be discounted.

Just bought a new Skoda from Marshalls in Milton Keynes. Tara was my salesperson and was fantastic. Wasn't pushy, answered all my questions and when I picked the car up sat she sat with me setting up the app and the head unit. Amazing service.

JLR Marshall Cambridge - Worst customer service experience I have ever received in 37 years of having company cars. This week just summed them up. 2 months ago I booked in for an airbag recall for my Evoque, earliest they could get me in was 10th June, 4 weeks ago I added on the first service whilst the car was in for the recall. At 4.20pm yesterday 9th June I received an email saying they dont have the part for the recall and they are also unable to carry out the service which was due in at 8.30am 10th June. I asked for a call back from the service manager but nothing, they just couldn't give a toss. Do not buy or use the services of JLR Marshall as you will be seriously disappointed. Marshall group supplied the car via Leaseplan for my multinational employer, I will be asking my company to have them removed from the car tender list going forward. I had issues when they supplied the car and with other poor service when the bonnet catch broke.

If you want an enjoyable and stress-free car-buying experience, I would avoid this dealer.
I purchased an Audi Approved Used vehicle from Audi Exeter on 17 May. By 25 May, Audi Oxford, my local dealer, informed me that the vehicle required £2,100 worth of repairs.
Despite this, Exeter and the sales manager repeatedly avoided and refused contact with me. Even after two independent businesses had inspected the vehicle, my emails and phone calls were ignored. Eventually, I had to escalate the matter to Audi UK, who have helped to some extent.
After a number of excuses and what I believe were misleading statements, Audi Exeter finally agreed to carry out the repairs. However, even now, several members of staff continue to ignore my attempts to find out why I was given conflicting information about the condition of the vehicle.
Please take a look at the condition in which I received this Audi Approved car. Be careful who you trust—being a main dealer clearly does not guarantee the level of service or vehicle preparation that customers should expect.

Recently went to get wishbones, brake calipers, pads, fog light, steering sensor and clock spring replaced. My advisor, Gill, was patient and did her best to inform me of what they had done to the car.
The technician who worked on it, Ronan, was more than happy to explain what was broken, why, and how he fixed it.
He also refurbished a part they didn't have in stock (caliper bracket) for me at no extra cost (very nice of him as the bracket was rusty and I myself couldnt put new pads in because the flaky rust squeezed the retainer clips inwards!)
All in all, very good experience. When the time comes for rear subframe rebuild, they will likely be my first consideration.

Perfect service from Andy! He sold us an i20 and made the whole process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all our questions without any pressure. Excellent customer service throughout, and we’re really pleased with the car. Would highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for a great buying experience. Thank you!

Hi my names Harleen and I brought a brand new car from BYD Northampton. Joseph helped me throughout and was very patient and answered all our questions. After the sale he is still taking good care of me with regular checkups. The car is amazing no doubt. Joseph has gone over and beyond and I will definitely reccomend him to anyone looking to buy a new car :)

Extremely poor experience with Marshall Mercedes-Benz.
I purchased a Mercedes-Benz C-Class and experienced a mechanical fault shortly after collection. The way this was handled was unacceptable. Communication was poor, ownership of the issue was lacking, and the overall experience fell well below what I would expect from an authorised Mercedes-Benz retailer.
Ultimately, I had to involve another Mercedes-Benz dealership to get the issue dealt with properly, which says everything about the level of service received from Marshall.
This has not been a short-lived issue. My concerns with Marshall have been ongoing for around three years, including repeated unwanted marketing/sales contact despite previous requests for this to stop. When raised, the matter was passed to another internal team, while the wider complaint was effectively closed with an apology and no meaningful resolution.
An apology does not undo three years of frustration, wasted time, poor communication, inconvenience and loss of trust.
Given the lack of a satisfactory resolution, I am now considering referral to the relevant external bodies, including The Motor Ombudsman and the Information Commissioner’s Office in respect of the data/marketing concerns.
Based on my experience, I would not trust Marshall with future purchases, servicing or customer care. I certainly would not return and would strongly caution others before dealing with them

We purchased a 2024 VW T Cross R Line from Marshall VW Gatwick dealership and the experience throughout was excellent. Ryan helped and supported our questions and queries with a polite and friendly manner, providing good knowledge and experience that was gratefully received. The Showroom was impressive as were the Staff that we conversed with during our visit.. We would gladly return to this dealership again. Many thanks
