Hmmm where do i start?
First of all letting me and Kelly my partner move into a property in Slough with Living Mould. I sent pictures and 8 weeks later nothing has been fixed but took 2 other people to take the same pictures of the issues and nothing done. My last property with Martin and Co, Jagdish had lied to us about the end of tenancy clean on 2 occasions. Jagdish had also badly communicated to us alot of the time same as Harvey and Harpreet and Kelly all bad communication and Kelly has been saying since our last property in Maidenhead that you are trying to improve your communication. Jagdish had me and Kelly my partner come in to sort issues out and I had to leave work 3 hours earlier and lost out on 3 hours wage because of the appalling communications and false promises. Jagdish also had promised us that we would have our deposit back when we last came in with my mother and to find out she didnt process this and I had to chase again but once again blamed somebody else. I have no choice to post my honest review to this page as me and my partner are very fed up of all this and also moving us into a property that has had mould and damp issues longer than we have been staying there. Harpreet and Harvey work together and make out customers didnt say things to them when me and kelly explained about having the bed taken out because we have our own bed to support our backs as we suffer with back issues. We are now also experiencing the mould is affecting our lungs and breathing and not only that I am ASTHMATIC. The reason why at the Maidenhead property we never said anything or complain about anything because there was no issues! Martin and Co also have a tenant above my parents in slough and had their water leak through to my parents home and they have been chasing Martin and Co since 2025 November and still isn't rectified but Martin and Co are just arranging things without even communicating with me and kelly about our issues and my mothers property too. I am here to apologise for doing this honest review and my review is actually on going right now. Jagdish had commented several times that the flat in slough is very high standards and new with no issues. Definitely not right!

Incredibly rude estate agents who are only interested in bullying tenants and helping landlords avoid their obligations. Kelly Hall and Jagdish Gandnam are the worst of a very poor team!

Martin & Co – especially Callum – should be ashamed. I viewed a property and paid the holding deposit within hours. They confirmed they received it, then went completely silent. No updates, no replies. I chased them nonstop. Only four days before my move-in date, they casually told me it was rented to someone else.

This is not miscommunication – this is deceit. They either took my deposit knowing it was already gone, or let multiple people pay while keeping the ad up. Pure exploitation. They cost me time, money, and caused serious stress.

Zero integrity, zero professionalism. Avoid them like the plague.

Unprofessional and lies.... I don't recommend

My experience with Martin & Co Slough Lettings & Estate Agents was nothing short of a nightmare. After committing to an apartment and taking advance payment, they abruptly backed off due to the landlord's change of heart. Instead of efficiently resolving the issue, they dangled another apartment as compensation, only to back out again after signing the contract. This ordeal dragged on for over a month, causing immense mental stress and wasting valuable time. Their lack of responsiveness to calls and emails added to the frustration. To top it off, the handling of refunding the advance money was sluggish, and dealing with Harvey Gandam was a lesson in unprofessionalism and rudeness. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of Martin & Co.

Slough branch doesn't answer my inquiries and the houses I want to rent is being rented one by one. I am now excluding this agency's listings from my searchs

Don’t bother! Called for 3 days to arrange a viewing of multiple properties, finally got through for a 1pm viewing, arrived 15 mins early and waited for half an hour. Called the company and was told someone would call back shortly and be there to show us the flats. It is now 5:40 pm and still no call or viewing. Unprofessional and very very disappointing!
Nobody at reception and an absolute waste of our time! I do not recommend these guys don’t waste your time. It was 7 degrees and raining…. Hopeless!

I am the owner of a property in Maidenhead which has been under the management of Martin & Co. Slough for nearly 3 years.
Debbie, who is looking after my flat is most friendly,efficient and thorough with projects under her charge.
I am very pleased the flat is under the charge of a responsible person like her.

I do not recommend Martin and Co letting agent as they are not customer centric and do not understand the tenant requirements. The lift was not working whilst shifting and I mentioned about the delay to vacate and the Letting agent director Jagadish asks we have provided a full furnished house what else you need to vacate. They dont understand customer sentiments. I had reported a water leakage issue and it took 2 months to resolve it.! Not a great experience and I wont recommend them.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if 0 was available if you are a property owner do not let this company manage your property a family member is renting a property at the moment and in the last year has had 3 floods from a property above and the delay and her treatment is disgusting this must be costing the landlord a fortune in repairs water coming through light fitting and I was advised to sort out getting the tenant above water cut out and don’t think you can call out off hours no emergency number and when you do get someone on the line they take no notes
And there last bit of advice was if the water has stopped coming through the ceiling light try turning on your switch applying staff

Abysmal standard of service very poor throughout, No communication between landlord and estate agent. It was me calling the agent for feedback. Yet my flats are Let through another first class agent with no High Street location. Appropriate reviews now filed.
