My bad for not researching the service…

My bad for not researching the service better. If you can call it a service. Their user interface looks like it was designed by high school dropouts.

I'm Canadian, but every time I log in. I'm forced into looking at the French language page. Not all Canadians speak french. Thankfully I learned enough French from the back of cereal boxes to know how to change it. Then, there's the issue of missing buttons. Like leave the page. Anyway, if you are contemplating signing up, it's not worth the effort. Unless you like to be frustrated beyond human tolerances......... god bless us all.

Simply doesn't work

Simply doesn't work. The order I placed after multiple attempts never registered with the supplier. Now I'm wondering whether the information I naively entered entered was stolen. Nothing to do but drain that account and watch for scamming.

Good but needs work

I normally only shop at stores that have Masterpass or Visa Checkout. It is safer than putting in your card number directly at checkout.

I have had multiple good experiences with it but on some sites (eBags and Walgreens) it hasn't worked, but I think that is the merchants fault and not Mastercard's.

They could improve on some things such as displaying a card image and making support for website builders easier for smaller merchants that want to accept it.

Masterpass. Avoid this at all costs!

Avoid this at all costs. Don’t go anywhere near this product. I opened an account so that i could pay for hospital carparking using an app called Glide. They wanted loads of personal information such as delivery address etc etc. I wasn’t happy so I contacted customer services. Hey guess what? It’s in a different hemisphere! Totally useless. Could not find my account details but eventually I had them cancel the account. I have absolutely no confidence that my information would be kept secure. Customer Service may as well have been on the Moon!

Personally I avoid shopping at website that use Masterpass without a PayPal or Interac alternative. It is a horrible user experience that has not improved over the years. I have tried again and again to use it and something always goes wrong - password, added cards - using existing cards - etc. It's always something. It is a disaster and has pushing me into getting a Visa. For context I am VERY web savvy - I design and develop websites so I speak from experience when I say it's a problem.

It's waste of time

It's waste of time. I signed up a while ago. Then trying to sign in recently. After I typed my email, it goes to a blank screen. So I contacted them, the customer service have to email the technical support team. After 4 days, they called me back, told me that I can just click sign up instead of log in. Guess what? It doesn't work. Then she said she needs to email technical support again. I can't believe a company like MasterCard doesn't have live technical support. It's basically playing telephone with them. The difference is you have to wait for 72 hours every time!

I've tried so many times to use my masterpass online, using an actual MasterCard. I always get the same message " something went wrong in processing your masterpass, please try again" If you can't use a MasterCard for masterpass why bother? I'm finished, no more trying, frustrating. Don't waste your time.

It is such a shame that this well-known service have such a bad registration process that won't allow user to complete it.

Masterpass Online Registration :
"Something went wrong"
-Insert Card Info Again - Insert Address Again

This goes in a loop

How the hell user going to complete the registration?

Masterpass is not safe

Sears offered a discount for Masterpass users, so I thought I'd sign up wit Masterpass. And because I wanted to avoid redirecting links and such, I went directly to the Masterpass website to register.
After entering my credit card number and secure code, I was asked to enter my bank password. I declined, so didn't proceed with the Masterpass registration. A couple of hours later, my credit card got 3 unrecognized transactions!

Horrible user experience on mobile and …

Horrible user experience on mobile and browser.

Tried multiple times to create an account and pay for goods but couldn't get through the lengthy process and poorly design UX...

Useless error warnings such as "invalid username" with no solutions to address the issue. I swear I tried 6 completely different entries.

It's almost as if they're deliberately making it hard to use the service. Businesses, stay away. You'll be losing money.

MASTERPASS - Good idea.. poor implementation and experience..

After linking my card I can not log into my wallet... - Support came back (after 3 days) something's wrong with your account we need to delete it... this was 2 weeks ago.. now when I try to setup my account again it just says there is already an account and whether I wanna login instead... trying to do so results in "nothing".. obviously as they deleted my account.. - I call this overall a horrible customer experience... - You need to get this right the FIRST time and not later... unless of course you like bad reviews - I probably gonna stay away from MasterCard for good now.. will check what VISA offers...
