This company is unethical.
This company is unprofessional and unethical. They didn't charge me for over a year and I went a total of 5 times before the gyms closed. After never being billed I assumed my one year contract was over. Then I get a €400 bill. Ive asked them multiple times to cancel my account and they basically just told me to "prove it". Its been over two years now.... Do not go to this gym if you dont want your money to be stolen.
McFit makes McDonalds look good
Between the overcrowding (always an issue at McFit-Moabit, made worse now by the restricted hours) and the poorly maintained and low quality equipment, it is very difficult to get a quality workout here.
I have had a membership here since early 2016. When the equipment, especially the cardio, becomes defective, it often stays that way for up to a year. Case in point: since 2016, the two Stair Master’s have rarely worked at the same time. One went defective in Feb of 2022, was removed in the summer, leaving an exposed electical pipe for people to trip over (hazardous), and was finally replaced this Jan. with a cheap, flimsy knock-offe, not suited for a home gym, let alone a commercial gym, just in time for the one good Stair Master to become defective.
As of this November, 7 of the 15 tread mills were defective, four of the elliptical (cross-fit) machines, one of the stair masters, 5 of the weight machines and several of the toilets (I have pictures to prove it). The situation has improved, but ongoing maintenance and crappy equipment is always a problem.
During the pandemic, they asked members to keep paying their memberships while the gym was closed to support McFit (I did), yet McFit does not support it’s members.
New after the pandemic, member cards no longer lock the lockers after two hours. If you need to take a shower, you have to leave your valuables open. Hours are now restricted, but only at McFit Moabit. Near impossible to get a good workout before work if you have to at 8 or 9, after work – too crowded until close to closing time.
I have visited some of the McFits in Berlin and they seem to be somewhat better.

Dirty gym, unlawful charges and lazy staff
Dirty gym with lazy staff. On top of that they commit IBAN discrimination and becaude they do that also charge unlawful feels to people who transfer directly (hundreds of euros worth). Then you ask why they are doing it and despite contacting them twice a week it takes them 6 months to get back to you without any real answers. I honestly have never had such a horrid experience with a gym before. And that's aside from all the sexist roided up men that go there and take all the equipment and don't clean or put anything away.
Not the experience I expected
I don't think I'm gonna renew the subscription

McFit Austria - stay away!!!
McFit Austria - they don't inform you directly that the contract is automatically renewable even if you specifically ask for a one-year contract. This information was NEVER presented to me by their staff NOR did I get a written copy of my contract with McFit. now they blame me for... not checking their website?! c'mon... Now they ask for me the payment for two years I have not used the gym with me knowing my contract was over, as asked. I have explained clearly that it was their own staff who did not inform me, if I knew, I just simply cancelled it myself, a 5 minute job. blind trust in the word spoken and hey!- not informed, not our fault, right?!?! This is the new form of banditism - everybody needs law school and inside information for a ridiculous 15eur/month fitness contract. Will never ever be their client again.

You stole 200 euro from me!
I had the worst experience with McFit Italia you stole 200 Euros from me and you don't want to use me in the gym! and I have sent many emails and called you to solve this problem and you never reply! I should officially fix it because I've already waited a year and a half to fix it and you don't do anything. Worst experience ever!
I already paid 191,24 Euro to INTRUM company as for McFit request, which covers 11 months that I didn’t attend in the gym and it was during corona when the gym was closed! Now I have 11 months that I paid for and want to attend the gym as I didn’t attend except only 1 month out of 1 year (12 months), when I call or send emails your reply is my account balance needs 122 euro as if I didn’t pay anything , so it’s not even 191 euro!! Why did you let me pay 191 euro to intrum!! And I visited intrum milano and they told me they sent you the 191 euro last February, all the money and they didn’t take any fees! and you didn’t do anything about it, and my stay in Italy is very limited so I need to start going to the gym now with that money or I’m sorry i have to solve this officially and take my money back! I already told all my friends in politecnico about this experience and no one will go to Mcfit gym.

McFit steal money from you bank
McFit is closed and does not provide the contractually agreed service. The monthly fee will still be debited. A reimbursement is refused. They don't answer by email and by phone in Italy.
