Roadside assistance

My experience with mb roadside assistance was nothing more than hell. I own a new Mercedes Benz c class with 11000 miles on the clock and live in Scotland. On the 23 of December my 4 daughters and I traveled to see my elderly aunt to drop off her Christmas presents. On the way home for some reason my front tyre blew out and I had to pull over on the A92 road unfortunately the only bit of the road to pull up was a bus stop . I was 17 miles from home so I phoned my husband to see if he could help me and he came out with his work van and looked at the tyre which could not be repaired. So we decided to phone mb roadside assistance. At the start they seemed very helpful and reassured me that they would get me help as soon as possible. I phoned them at 12.00 am and gave them the reg and model of my car at 4 am a guy turned up with a truck and said he would take the car home . But as he tried to load the car onto his truck he damaged my car then he decided that the car was too big for his truck.which I don’t understand because he had the make and model. My husband asked him what is the best solution? . To which he replied we need a bigger truck. So back onto mb roadside for help. It’s now 7.00am and my husband has had to take two of my girls back home because they both have medical issues. Mb have been on the phone promising to get help . They want me to leave my car abandoned at the bus stop and they would pick it up on the 26th or 27th . Now I’m not sure if being stranded at the bus stop was bad enough but I can assure you that I don’t think there would be much left of the car over that period of time.it’s now 9.30 am and my husband has got back to me asking what are mb doing unfortunately because I live in the north of Scotland they’ve decided nothing can be done as they don’t have a truck available to help. Thank god my husband after a lot of trying managed to find someone to get us back at the expense of £195 . So my ordeal was a 12 hour breakdown with people who don’t understand or don’t really care it has been a really terrible experience for both me and my family especially at this time of year.

Trying to pay an invoice is hell

Trying to pay an invoice is hell. The invoice date must be the one at top not the date the invoice gives when the consultation took place (which is also on the invoice)! If the system is unhappy it blanks out the spaces and off you go again and again
Upon sorting this the payment is then constantly refused by a message Service Error in '/' Application? So one cannot pay ?
The staff are at best unfriendly and far from helpful. The Manageress talks over one in a superior fashion. Perhaps they might consider that they and their consultant customers are dealing with unwell people who are also often elderly.
The system is unreliable and should be looked at. World pay and others seemed to have cracked it but not MBC. Unpleasant experience.

Appalling and concerning billing system.

Appalling billing system.
Javascript errors behind the scenes "TypeError: self.invoices(...)[0].dateofbirth is not a function"
Asks for card information that can and should be determined given the card number itself, such as card type.
Red flag from asking the user to say whether their card provider may prompt for an extra layer of authentication, which should just work if required.
After giving correct information the transaction failed.

Appalling company

Appalling company. They keep telephoning and badgering me to pay a bill for which I have yet to receive an invoice.I have spent 6 months asking for an invoice, and have pointed out that the bill will be settled once this is received, but have never had a reply.People who employ them will simply lose patients.

Poor business ethics

Poor business ethics - Med BC incorrectly billed me for £250 which I promptly paid (I was unaware their invoice was incorrect).

I contacted them by email requesting reimbursement pointing out their error. After 8 days of no response I telephoned and requested reimbursement. At this juncture they accepted the error but then decided they had not received my payment. On producing my copy bank statements they suddenly found my payment.
I am a self funded patient, unwell and a carer for my husband. It beggars belief how this company have ‘earned a reputation to offer a first class service and leaders in the market’.

Really bad data guardians

I have yet to have a positive interaction with this company. They ring me demanding payment for invoices they don’t send (two for two on the lack of invoice front), and they instead send me highly confidential and personal information via email about other patients. They claim my data wasn’t shared in a similar way (despite sending it to the wrong email address), but I do not believe them.
