Success at first consultant interview
I recently attended the NHS Consultant Interview Course and found it invaluable in securing success at my interview on the very first attempt. Having returned to NHS after working abroad as a consultant for the past seven years, I was unfamiliar with the latest developments and challenges within the NHS. This course helped me quickly get up to speed with the current landscape, priorities, and expectations of the system.
The structured approach to answering interview questions, combined with focused mock practice, gave me the confidence and clarity I needed. The feedback was constructive and practical, allowing me to refine my answers and presentation style.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone preparing for their consultant interview. It is well organised, comprehensive, and truly made a difference in my preparation.

This course was a delight. The course material was shared with us beforehand. The presenter was engaging and the sessions were interactive. It introduced me to some new concepts all whilst allowing us to draw on our own experiences in the NHS. I participated in the Train the Trainers course
I participated in the Train the Trainers 2 day course. The presenter was enthusiastic and varied her style to maintain the interest of the group.
The training was comprehensive and interactive. 12 hours may sound like a long time but it passed quickly and it was enjoyable.

ISC medical coaching and mentoring course
I attended the ISC medical coaching and mentoring course. The course material of videos, written material and links to podcasts etc was comprehensive and interesting. The webinar provided a good opportunity for discussion and practice. I wish I’d done this course years ago!

Booked at short notice just before an interview. Really good course excellent facilitator who gave helpful feedback easily applied. Was worried I would feel very unprepared and doing the course would knock my confidence but actually came out feeling more confident and got the job!
