I set up a monthly repeat prescription to come from Medicines by Post aka Unicare Pharmacy in November 2021. For 6 months the medication arrived by post each month, albeit sometimes it came the day I was due to run out. Then in May 2022 it never came.

I contacted them through the website to ask why it hadn't arrived, but they did not answer. I then called on 30 May and they alleged they had been unable to send it on 5 May because I had changed my nominated pharmacy. I had not changed the nominated pharmacy and told them so. They then alleged my GP had changed the nominated pharmacy. This also appears to be untrue, because nobody told me of a change in pharmacy and the pharmacy they claim is my new nominated pharmacy say they have never received a prescription for me.

I am now left with no medication and no explanation for why they failed to send it weeks ago. I would strongly advise that nobody use the prescription by post service - these people cannot be trusted to deliver and seem to invent excuses ex post facto.

I have been using Medicines by Post since January 2021. I didn't know what to expect but I was fed up with the COVID queue at my local Chemist and a wait for as long as an hour whilst it was made up. The service from Medicines by Post ( live in West Sussex) has been fantastic. Prescriptions arrive within a day, or at most two. The service is fantastic.

Was really impressed with this co’ in the first 8 months at start of Covid. In recent months the service has really deteriorated. One month they didn’t send my husband’s essential meds as they were “waiting for a non urgent item” for me!
I’ve asked not to be sent items for the time being as I’m getting too much stock, but they still appear. This time I’ve been sent the not required items but NOT the essential item I’ve run out of! Contacted them by their contact form asking for urgent despatch ...a week later no reply and no item! Had to buy the item myself.
Chased up again today by contact form and email ..not great...... Now looking at alternative home delivery suppliers.

Unbelievably inefficient. Never on time - have had to chase each month and add on prescription took 5 days to arrive.

Have decided to collect from pharmacy again.

Am using medicines by post for my grandparents medicines. Excellent service with quick delivery. Very easy to set up and helpful staff if have any problems. Thank you once again

Appalling service. I registered online 2 months ago. Despite 3 phone calls, I am told to go back to my pharmacist for the time being. No drugs have arrived, so we have had to give GP and pharmacist more work to sort it out. The opposite was intended!
I replied through a mail shot, as did a lot of other people I guess. WHY do that if they cannot handle the amount of work it brings in.
So use them at your peril. How did they get 5*s
