A Supportive and Considerate Occupational Health Assessment
The clinician was professional, respectful, and supportive throughout the appointment. He explained his recommendations and offered guidance on gradually increasing my working hours, while reassuring me that I should pause if I experienced any difficulty, which I found encouraging. At present I have not been able to extend my hours, as I am still rebuilding my fitness as part of my ongoing recovery from a cardiological procedure, and some of the workplace adjustments I require are still in progress. Given how non‑linear recovery from an acquired neurological condition can be, I would have appreciated a little more discussion around how these factors may shape my progress moving forward, despite my best efforts. Overall, the appointment felt thoughtful, compassionate, and genuinely helpful.
