D4 medical nightmare!

Since when has having to wear prescription glasses or not been an issue when having a five year D4 professional driver medical check? I booked and paid for a D4 PSV medical online through Just Health that included the eyesight check, and I chose Medi Park clinic in Haringey N4 as its close to my home.
Big mistake!
I arrived on the day and allotted time. I was checked for blood pressure, temperature? and weight, and was told to go back to the front reception to be called for by the doctor. I was called and went into the doctors room and was told that due to me wearing glasses he could not perform the eyesight check. Also I needed to have the eyesight checked before he could perform the medical. I told the doctor and showed him my booking that I had paid in advance for this medical that included the eyesight check and no where did it mention this in my booking and terms. I've had D4 medicals several times over the years (I have to have a D4 medical every 5 years due to my age) and I've never encountered this as an issue before. You simply read a chart on the wall, irrespective if you wear glasses or not, and the doctors room had this chart on his wall.
I walked out feeling cheated, scammed and a tad angry. I phoned my booking company (Just Health) and they could not understand this issue either and I was told that they will probably take Medi Park clinic N4 off their list of clinics that they use going forward. Just Health were extremely apologetic and issued me a full refund there and then. I received this full refund into my bank account within 24 hours.
If I could give no stars to Medi Park clinic I would.
Do not use, very dodgy. Go elsewhere.

had a very bad experience, been victim of racism

had a very bad experience, discriminated because you don't speak the receptionists language. i phoned as my child was really ill and needed urgent medical assistance from a private gp, i was told i didn't need an appointment but i must turn by 4.30 so the doctor could see us. we arrived on time at 4:30, i walked in with my child and spoke to receptionist, i paid cash for the gp appointment i was going to attend. i was then told to wait. ahead of us was a couple. after 20 mins a family walks in with 2 children. the first couple goes in to see the gp, when they were done. as quick as the light run in the family who came after us. it was 6:15pm i had been waiting already 1hr and 45 mins, i go to the receptionist and ask how long will it be and why did that family who came after us had gone in to see the gp before me. the receptionist said they had an appointment. i decided to call my husband, who spoke the language of the receptionists. to come in and assist me. end of the story we saw the doctor at 6:45, one of the receptionists went to charge my husband for the gp visit whilst i had paid ahead when walking in the practise. i felt discriminated as i was an English speaking person and did not speak the language of the receptionists, they even tried to fool my husband by charging him again. if i didnt stood up when i overheard £100 and showed them the receipt, we would have been charged twice. THIS PRACTICE NEED PROFESSIONAL STUFF WHO DON'T DISCRIMINATE IF A PATIENT DOESNT SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE.
