The vets hardly ever answer the phone so I had to travel to the office for what I thought was a simple issue of an updated prescription for mg pets medicine. The price of the medicine at this vets is over double the cost elsewhere. You charged me £25 just for a prescription. How is it possible that health costs for pets are so high.

The staff at three Bridges Medi Vet are absolutely amazing. They are a credit to your company. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are absolutely amazing.

The staff all took great care of Charlie ( a six month old golden retriever). They gave me advice on how to care for him after his op ( seed in paw).

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Medivet Hendon.

I have been a loyal customer for years, with both of my cats, Halo and Moon, registered at this practice since they were kittens.

Recently, I rescued an injured stray cat called Rufus. Before attending, I phoned the practice and was told to bring him in. When I arrived, no member of staff appeared to know anything about the call. After only a brief assessment, I was told his injury was not serious enough to warrant treatment and that they would not see him.

Concerned, I immediately took Rufus to another veterinary practice. They examined him properly, diagnosed a burst abscess requiring treatment, and were surprised that he had previously been turned away.

What upset me most was not only the lack of communication but also the apparent lack of compassion. I had gone out of my way to help an injured stray animal and left feeling dismissed and unsupported.

This experience was the final straw after years of feeling that appointments at this branch were rushed and impersonal. I have now moved both of my cats to another veterinary practice.

I hope Medivet investigates how this situation was handled so that no one else trying to help an injured animal has the same experience.

I’ve been a customer at Blagreaves Lane for many years before it was owned by Medivet. The vet there was excellent but was almost forced into retirement. I find the constant changes of staff distressing because their abilities and knowledge are not always equal. Finally a permanent excellent young vet arrives I’m very happy. Then a short time later it’s someone else and she’s no longer there. What is it about your company that means good staff don’t stay? There is a new permanent lead vet and she is good. But she doesn’t work there every day. I hope she stays. The surgery has recently undergone its second refurbishment in a couple of years. Very nice but why didn’t it occur for the first very excellent vet? I’ve moved between this vet and St Leonards (also owned by Medivet) and I found the same issue. Now I discover when joining the cat plan there’s a one off £12.99 admin fee! I find this ridiculous. Vet fees or pet insurance are already very high. The profits obtained by these chains is significant. Whilst I’m sure you will assure us that prices are cut to the bone your margins belie this assertion. Reception staff and nurses are always lovely but experienced well trained staff is a minimum requirement at all times please at the very least for our animals.

Aston Clinton Medivet was excellent they went over and above, all the staff we so caring, especially our vet his name was Edward who really cared for our little dog , but also our feelings as we wet through sad times, once again every one was so helpful. Thank you all.

The vet that we saw - Rosie - was absolutely wonderful 😊 We brought our senior housecat who is not used to seeing strangers and was very anxious, and Rosie was so good with him - calming and kind and reassuring, and at the same time really thorough. We were worried about the appointment but she was so brilliant we needn't have been. We feel so much better about our cat's health since seeing her, and he's feeling much better with the bit of pain relief he needed, nicely clipped nails and good diet advice! Really wonderful service, thank you 😊

The staff are always friendly and show genuine care.

My only gripe, I was quoted a considerably high price to have my pet sedated for a nail clip, that I almost cancelled due the cost. But after continuing with the appointment, when about to pay, the cost was £170 cheaper! I am really glad I didn’t cancel however being quoted £360 for sedation and nail clip was an obscene amount of money!

Very welcoming and clean environment in which engaging staff reassured me and put my dog at ease. Very compassionate and caring staff, explaining condition, treatment options and next steps, clearly and slowly.

I love the team at Lea Green in Heaton Chapel, they are always very friendly and welcoming. They are helpful with any queries I have and will point me in the right direction. Aoife is a wonderful vet that I trust and feel confident she will give me sound advice.

The whole team, receptionists, nurses and vets are all so friendly caring and professional. So easy to deal with and book appointments and they care so much and take their time with my nervous dog.

Medi vet Hellesdon are incredibly kind and caring towards our fur babies!
Recently so compassionate with our recent bereavement of our elderly lab.
This week they shared in our joy of two new puppies at their first health check. Cannot fault their customer service at all. Much appreciated!

Appointment more or less on time for vaccination but had to wait quite a while for claws to be cut

Susan on reception is always professional, kind and efficient.
Adam the vet is amazing he always gives good advice and the first thing he did when my cat came out of his carrier was gave him a cuddle, which my cat loved.
This practice is brilliant because of the staff.

50 pounds odd for consultation, fair enough.
Proscribed rheumocam 42ml and Noroclav antibiotics. Cost 100 pounds odd.
Rheumocam actually costs 9.99 for 42ml online. MEDIVET puts a 400% markup on price. I could have bought 200ml rheumocam for less than they charge for 42ml. Ask for a prescription and then buy it online there are loads of reputable sellers who even advertise on TV. Also the pills cost 90pence each online , I have 14 pills and they charged me 50 pounds!!!!!

My cat received excellent care and treatment but the cost seems out of proportion.
