Thanks for visiting Trustpilot. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to leave a review here anymore because the company’s website has closed. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I SUBSCRIBED A ONE-WEEK STANDARD SUBSCRIPTION ON DECEMBER 27, 2025, FOR € 19.99, EXPIRING JANUARY 3, 2026. BOTH YESTERDAY AND TODAY, I TRIED TO CANCEL AUTOMATIC RENEWAL, BUT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! IN THE SETTINGS, SUBSCRIPTION, AND SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT SECTION, I SEE THE FOLLOWING:
Next payment: Saturday, January 3, 2026
For technical reasons, your Pass cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase or within 48 hours of the current Pass's expiration date.
TODAY IS 1ST OF JANUARY OK, BUT I HAVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION OR CONTACT A SERVICE DEPARTMENT BEFORE PAY FOR A RENWAL I DON'T WANT! I'VE SENT SEVERAL EMAILS BUT NOBODY REPLIED.
STAY AWAY!!! IT'S A SCAM.
Awful, you match with someone and have to pay if you want to talk with that person. But if that person didn't pay you are not going to be able to talk either. What a scam. Worst dating app. Don't waste your money on this circus.
Big scam fraud meetic never give bank détails on this site
Terrible, horrible, bad.
First, you have to pay for EVERYTHING.
And then, when you want to cancel your profile, you can do it only on the computer, not from the phone.
My mother was chatting with a man who was pretending to be Matthew “Whiz” Buckley, a american ex military pilot and public figure. After a simple google search, I had come to the conclusion, that he lied about basically every detail that he had managed to spit out in the span of 2 days. Ranging from his wife’s passing and him living in Austria, which is just plain wrong and immoral. He even managed to fake two video calls using AI to fake his voice and appearance. After exposing him he sent a virus in a PDF format, I guess as a last effort to gain personal information from us. Don’t join or subscribe to this site unless you wish to get scammed!
This is not dating site, it is scam... charching you for not use it ... 5 months after deactivation
Personally it didn't work for me. My first experience. Ended up talking to a guy who didn't somehow feel 'real'. When I took one of his photos and put it into google, it turned out he was using the photos of a French actor. When I said this to him he had nothing to say. The whole experience was a complete waste of my time, humiliating and depressing into the bargain. I explained it to Meetic, and was disappointed when they removed his photos but not his profile. The whole profile was a scam. A time-wasting idiot, called Pourserieux (yes, you!), who frankly doesn't deserve to find a partner. I'll wait until I meet someone in the street..
tried this site a few weeks back. I just say dont even consider it, it does not worth your time
The fake dating site!
I am afraid that it's not at all fault of Meetic but of our sick society!
Meetic is built to encourage the instable and frustrated human being that dream LOVE.
As soon as possible people stop to believe in LOVE ( GOD etc) at first people start to think practic and realistic way to join friends and partners.
The site is absolutely harmful and useless. Zero ! Spend your money for a psychotherapy sit-in or for a healthy walk in the wood.

Dear Sirs
I do not know what's going on with my account, but the situation is going beyond the limits of the reasonable:
You do not give me any answer, and 48 hours have passed
On 12.11.2018, I subscribed a premium subscription for your services, for 6 months (* 1) ....
Do as you please, my account has to be reactivated, and as soon as possible, and the days of the time I was suspended have to be credited to me.
It would be extremely unpleasant for both of us to have to go to anything FORUMS, publicly expose a situation that they have had more than enough time to solve.
Best regards
José Barreiros
