I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased 2 sleeping bags from the New Zealand store. The zip broke on one bag after first use. Absolutely hopeless customer service meaning I contacted them, they replied twice but did nothing and then stopped responding at all. THEY SELL LANDFILL so beware.
Beware of custom builts from this supplier
I ordered a custom built computer with specific gpu and mother board. What I was quoted in the email was for the items to be installed and tested.
What I got was two boxes of parts not tested as a build yourself kit without any documentation.
They stated complete build in the price but failed to deliver.

I order an item of this site, still not received it it has been over 2 months now. They take your money and don’t deliver. I emailed a number of times and every time they replied they said it’s still being processed. Never again ordering from here.
Bought a Dell docking station from this…
Bought a Dell docking station from this company after first checking with them that the item is supplied with a tax invoice. The item arrived but no tax invoice in the packing. I emailed them asking for it and got a response from a staff member saying it will be emailed to me. Since I did not get a tax invoice I followed up with 3 more emails and still no tax invoice. It seems like customer service does not exist at Megabuy!!!! Very poor service from this mob.

Drove 3/4 hour to view a prospective phone I had enquired on the previous day...Arrived and was shown the phone...I asked if I could check it and the young fella said what for ! He tried to charge it and it was faulty....Wasted my time....The phone was advertised for sale as tested....I find this to be very bad business practise and would not use this business again
When 'In Stock' doesn't mean In stock
Needed a laptop to enable me to work from home. Decided to purchase the item from MEGABUY as they had the item listed as 'In Stock'.
Due to Paypal sending money via E-cheque which needed to be cleared the funds were not immediately available.
With followup emails I was consistently told the item would be processed as soon as the funds cleared.
The day the funds were actually cleared, less than a week from purchase date, I sent a followup email to find out when the item would be shipped only to be told 'Unfortunately in that time the unit has sold out'.
If I purchase an item from a store when they say they have them in stock that item should be immediately taken off the in stock list as I have purchased it.
I will never be going back to MEGABUY for anything in the future & would advise anyone thinking of buying from them to read the reviews for MEGABUY & make an informed decision before the hand over their money.
All correspondence with MEGABUY has been kept as we don't get the chance to respond when the try to explain their way out of this review.
Save your time and money
Needed to buy a need phone, and needed it ASAP as my last phone I dropped and destroyed it. So I saw a Motorola replacement on the megabuy website and it showed delivery of 1-3 business days.
Placed the order on a Monday. Got a basic email stating the order was processing.
Got to the end of the week, still processing.
Sent emails and first reply said if was be sorted out in their warehouse.
Second email stated in was in Melbourne.
Its gets tiring being stuffed around by companies like this. And then they say buy from an Australian company, but when you do all you get is bad service.
I have actually ordered from overseas in the past and got delivery in 2-3 days! With great communication.
Save yourself the frustration, avoid this company. Either buy from ebay or physically go and grab one from your local store.
Dishonored advertised price after purchased
Paid for a monitor as the price advertised on their web page. The order was placed and processed then two days later l received an email that my order will not go ahead if l don't pay an extra $500. I said no as I paid the advertised price and then my order was cancelled. It took over a week to get a refund only after reminding them every day until I got it. That is bad business ethics from a shop. Advertise a price and then increase the price after it has been paid. I would give them a negative star but the rating will not allow it. I just want people to know. buy at your own risk.

The company appears fine but the third party used for delivery is the worst.
The only way to contact is to fill an online form or call an overseas call centre where they just fill an enquiry form.
This has all been done four days ago with no outcome.
So no product, no replies and no way of knowing where a delivery is.
Avoid.

Prices are good and the staff say all the right things however they do not follow through with resolving issues very quick. The staff are nice and friendly but ultimately following through with promises is where it matters.
Their choice of Courier is random so you get radical variation from item depending on warehouse.
If you need to do a return they are happy to leave you to fend for yourself while dealing with offshore support that only responds to emails once a week to progress your return.
Spend your money else where!!! 24 days until posted!!!
Like the title says spend your money elsewhere or better still price match their low prices to a more reputable company.
Long story short.... Wait times from when the order is placed to when it is actually shipped is disgraceful (see screenshots) and these items where all in stock!!! Not the kind of service you expect after spending $4000.
Any other online store has their items posted within 24hours of receiving an order. Can prove if needed
Short story long.... Basically, as you can see for the screenshot supplied you can see the most recent order was placed on the 24th of April and was not partially posted until the 30th of April and finally on the 1st of May. During this time many calls were made for updates on the order, each time I got the same answer as before which was no different from what was already shown on my online account. I was told by staff on each call that an inquiry has been sent to the warehouse and we will contact you with an update, sadly not once did I receive any updates from Megabuy staff.
From what I gathered from talking to staff the problem is to do with their internal systems on how they communicate with their warehouse. I was informed by staff their inhouse communication is done solely by email and are not contactable via phone. SERIOUSLY???
Sadly, this is not the 1st time this has happened to me at Megabuy. I have attached another 2 x screenshot showing an order which was originally placed on the 4/10/17. This order was then cancelled on the 5th due to some issue within Megabuy. I then had to re-order the same day, it was processed the following day on the 6th/10/17 and amazingly that item was not shipped until the 30/10/17…. That’s 24 days later!
The reviews that are similar to this review are staggering when you read back through.
I’m giving an extra Star because the only staff member who answers the phone (James) was extremely kind and understanding, it was just Megabuy was letting him down.
Which brings up any other point, you can only seem to speak to 1 person via the phone (James), there is no manager to complain to verbally or to escalate any issues further. That’s unless you are spending money of course then you seem to be able to talk to whomever.
Most definitely will NOT be doing business here again!!!
False stock levels
The item I purchased was listed as "2+ In-Stock [Available]" at time of ordering (and for days prior). Immediately after placing the order, the stock level adjusted to "1+ In-Stock [Available]" (and for days thereafter).
However, twelve (12) days after placing the order, MegaBuy advised there was none in stock. No automatic refund, had to request it in writing, despite it being a "major failure" as per Australian Consumer Law.
I would not trust any of the stock level information, given it was obviously false for my order.
Good range and prices
Good range and prices. I have been purchasing printer cartridges and small electronics from these people for many years and generally had a good experience.
*Extremely* dodgy
They are 'drop shippers'. They have a web based store front, take orders & hand them on to the company actually producing the goods. They also have a couple of stores selling second hand PC's as 'refurbished'.
I understand that.
I ordered & paid for a downloadable software license key (ESD). This is not a physical good.
My credit card was billed immediately. After six days of 'we'll get right on it', they had still not provided the software key, kept my money & 'cancelled' the order.
I now have to go through the rigamarole of pursuing a fraud claim with my bank. Would you deal with them again?

Therefore I spec from other websites and then go to Megabuy for an equivalent or better deal if stock is available.
