I recently purchased a bio Bodet At menards and couldn't be happier with it. Just had hemorrhoid surgery and it's been a life saving and to think of all the suffering I did before the surgery without this product.I wish I had it years ago . Sincerely Ron

online and rebate

Went online to purchase a couple items and by the time I clicked check out one of my items was not available. once in the cart I'd hope they would account it sold or at least hold for a certain amount of time. can order online, print out the rebate form online, but have to mail in the rebate? something is wrong here...

Don't do work for Menards

We are an Electrical contractor and was hired by Menards to do a third lane to the back yard. If we would have know how poorly managed they run thier own projects I would never have bid to do this work. First they never got the project going when they were supposed to and then months later they act like its our fault it isnt completed. Expect us to work in -20 degree weather not including the windshield factor. They sit in thier corporate offices watching every move and harrass call every 30-60 minutes on status and say dont look like you will be ready, I can see you on the cameras. We continue to tell them yes we will and let us do our job and we still get the harrasment. For any contractor thinking of doing work for them don't, just run as fast as you can the other way. they treat contractors like dirt and only care about themselves and thier over paid salaries. Menards should never Project manage thier own jobs, Hire A GC so there is a propoer schedule not a bunch of camera spying and finger pointing. If you dont want to hire a GC then get off your ass and come to the sight!

Buyers BEWARE!!!

Buyers BEWARE!!!! If you order something at Menards and it does not come in within 90 days, for whatever reason, they will NOT refund your money they will give you a store "Merchandise Credit Check". They will basically keep your money until you spend it in their store! This is not customer service, this is wrong!! This happened to a family member and they are stuck with a 1300.00 in store credit check for an item that Menards could not deliver after months of waiting because it was no longer available and it happened to be after the 90 day return period.

Had a horrible experience with Menards…

Had a horrible experience with Menards west Lansing store in Michigan. Allan Teatro was the manager. Bought a brand new $1200 snowblower with idling surging problems. Said originally would exchange then decided no we are on our own. Was extremely rude. Poor customer service. Police were involved.

absolutely terrible customer service

I have had absolutely terrible customer service experiences at your Green Bay East store! And that female store cop you have is beyond rude and abusive. Don’t just assume that people are ripping off your store! When they or their grandchild drop a bag of candy that they opened and were going to pay for, it doesn’t mean they are Charles Manson! Especially if they are checking out exterior deadbolt and interior door locks totaling over $500! I’m sure they did not mean to intentionally eat some candy and drop it before arriving at the checkout out. We were happy you brought it to the checkout. You really could have spared us the accusatory looks and accusations. That’s okay. I was so mad I returned all of the locks the following day. Never shopping at your store again. Can’t risk low blood sugar in a store that requires double the time to locate and check out items, and twice the work weight lifting through the register and to the car! Why don’t you give that cop a real job? Like assisting customers instead of harassing them?

I would recommend you purchase from any…

I would recommend you purchase from any place you can find, never buy from Menards if you can avoid them. Horrible customer service, terrible scheduling, unclear documentation, double and triple charging for the same fees. As a Realtor and Architect I would and will recomend to everyone to avoid this company.

Poplar Bluff, Missouri - Menards
The only got a one star, because they don't offer a NEGATIVE STAR!!!
Spent over $1400.00 on kitchen countertops. 1st return issue, all templates were waaaayyyy off. 2nd return issue, all but two templates were correct. 3rd return issue, sink cut-out was not cut properly (didn't accommodate for the drop sink we purchased from Menards). 4th return issue, corner countertop was out 2 1/2" short and angle was not cut correctly. 5th return issue, corner countertop cut to exact length and angle, but they never placed cut slots for biscuits or connecting bolts.
I would NEVER again go to Menards and purchase countertops. Absolutely horrible!!!

I’m not the type to rant and complain…

I’m not the type to rant and complain but do yourself a favor and stay away from Menards Pelpro pellet stoves!!!!
I bought one about 2 months ago and worked for not even a week. Menards employees absolute no help (I believe they are trained to BS there way around everything)
Once I finally reached pelpro customer service nothing but a joke!!!
Motor sheared pins then completely rotated opposite of its feed and tore out wires. Sent me a new one and this one doesn’t shut off before you know it the fire box is plum full of pellets and smoke coming out everywhere. The final straw was motherboard started smoking and sparks everywhere before it finally blew its internal fuse. If you work hard for your money and I know you do …. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy PELPPRO JUNK

They don’t care about employees
And there are a lot of favoritism
kissing ass and making food for them will get you a like. Very Unfair
their policies are ridiculous and unforgiving. And they play favorites alot!

Wish I had read the reviews…

Wish I had read the reviews befoshopping here. I won't make that mistake again. Went in looking at bathroom cabinets. They didn't have it in stock and the Salesman kept punching in the wrong thing. I had no confidence in him and said I would go on line and order. So I did, ordering a month before construction and had a shipping date that product would arrive well before construction. One piece came and the other was delayed due to manufacturing. No updates so called and told it would be in 2 weeks after construction date. Had to shop elsewhere for the piece I needed and it did not match the piece that already shipped. So went to return it and they charged us a $78 restocking fee!!!! Even though it was not our fault that the whole order didn't arrive.... They wanted to blame it on the weather. This wasn't the case. No exceptions were made to make it right. If I had to offer a solution, I would not deliver multiple items of a matching set until you know the customer will receive them all in the time frame that you promise or is acceptable to the consumer.

Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service

I had a frustrating experience shopping online with Menards due to their hidden fees. They charge several fees: an online order processing fee, shipping fees, and a restocking fee for returns. In my case, they attempted to charge a restocking fee for an item that was shipped to the store with "free shipping." Their reasoning? They claimed it was a "special order" item, which, according to their return policy, incurs a restocking fee.

When I asked them to show where the item was labeled as a special order on the product page, they couldn’t find it but still insisted on enforcing the fee. I escalated the issue to corporate customer service, only to receive the same unhelpful response and no resolution.

This lack of transparency and poor handling of customer concerns has completely turned me off. I won’t shop at Menards again. I’d rather stick with Amazon, where shipping and returns are clear and hassle-free.

During Covid

During Covid, Menards had people arrested for not wearing a mask. I was told that without mask, I would have to leave. If I didn't leave they would call the police. I vowed I would never darken their door again.

Not as good as the others

Today I took back 1 box of tile, of the eight I ordered. The tile was a special
Order but it was listed on the Menards website and not something unique. They charged me 25% restocking fee( I realize it states that on the receipt but I did not see or advised of this when ordering.
I’m disappointed. I’ve bought and returned many items, including special order items to Home Depot and Lowe’s for the past several years. NEVER have they even mentioned a restocking fee or charged me one. I’ve spent lots of money on remodels/repairs at these other stores.
I tried Menards for the past couple months but I guess that didn’t work out.
Back to the most trusted from now on.

Terrible merchandise return process

Terrible merchandise return process. They have new rule which prevents you from returning an item without a receipt more than 3 times in 3 months. Started the return process, unloaded all the merchandise from the truck just to be told that I have to load it back up cause I exceeded my 3 returns in 3 months without a receipt. Being a contractor I have spent tens of thousands of dollars in the last 6 months at Menards. Needless to say they won’t see me back in this store as long as they have this idiotic return policy in place. Don’t get me started on the cumbersome return process they have in place for heavy items that need to be delivered in their warehouse!!

Menards. In Wisconsin this place is a staple!!A household name. 11% back in your wallet for a literal ton of purchases from a single screw, to a professional expeditor who puts your dream into a reality.
An all around Jewell in the community, except for one big issue..... "Save big money at Menards"
You've heard the jingle on your F.M. I know I have, and darn it, I need a furnace filter. To Menards!!! Nope! Not this guy! I mentioned their jingle "save big .... Blah blah blah. WE ALL DISLIKE IT! Why? Because you get there, grab the cart and your on your mission. Nails, 2x4 studs, sheetrock, and mud..... Save big money at Menards" screeching halt!!! There's that jingle again. The one you heard on your radio. But, but, but I'm here, I'm already here. Make it stop? Please, oh please make it stop!! Yes they beat the hell out of a dead horse. ***No animals were harmed***
P.S: they have milk too!!

Be careful buying online

Be careful buying online. Bought my wife a $200 jacket on menards.com. When we needed to return it, they charged 25% restocking fee! First, the policy isn't clear or posted until you are about to order. Second, this is highway robbery!$50 for restocking the jacket. No way does it cost that much. Seems like a money making scam. Third, the store's GM didn't respond until I repeatedly inquired. He wouldn't offer a compromise and basically told me tough shit.

Have employees who are willing to help ,ie yesterday purchased a Chrismas tree + container for tree , helper stood AND watched( "he was not familiar with tree container or how tree separated) 1 person with recent back surgery(<1 week), both 85 year old soceeded..!!..
