Went to the Dadeland store on 89 St SW and 72 Ave.Miami. I was looking to buy a tuxedo and was impressed by the nice selection. The store attendant Jennifer was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was very nice with me and my wife. She made it a simple and pleasant experience. There is a tailor on site too and that makes it very convenient.

No ethics

No ethics. I ordered a white dress shirt online. Men's Wearhouse placed an old and used dirty shirt, without its original plastic bag, straight into a shipping bag and sent it to me. It is filthy and unusable. I sent them pictures of this. Instead of apologizing and sending me a new one, they expected me to drive to one of their stores, or wait in line at the post office to mail it back to them. Why would I have to waste my time and gas due to their carelessness? This wasn't going to happen. I contacted my credit card company and had them take the money back from them. The unusable shirt went in the trash. First and last time customer.

Scammed by seamstress and royally messed up a suit

Sadly my mother n law passed away. We live in Texas and she lived in Connecticut. My husband went to Milford CT men’s warehouse monday Dec 30th. Since he had lost a lot of weight his suits did not fit him and he wanted look good to say good bye. He tried on two sizes. The 34 per the seamstress stated it would be too hard to make adjustments and that it would be easier to make adjusting on the 36. Being that she was the seamstress he went with her advice plus she wasnt suggesting it was it’s this or nothing per her. He needed the suit for Friday Jan 3rd as the wake was at 2pm and the funeral was sat 4th.
On Thursday afternoon he went to pick up his suit, tried it on and it was not altered the way the seamstress had told him it would be. The jacket had the sleeves too short. The back was pinched in to tight at the back the shoulders were worse than the 80’s shoulder pads plus parts were also pinched and not even. His pants had nothing taking in bottom area and the ankles were so tight that he could hardly get his foot through. It looked like mc hammer pants , all baggy at the bottom down to his hamstrings and tight at the ankles and calves. She had also taken to much off the length. When he said that’s not what was supposed to happen. They guy shrugged his shoulders and said oh well no one here to help you. So he went home with the suit as he had just paid $500.
Friday morning the day of the wake we arrived at 10am. We were met by another man who wasn’t helpful but he did bring out Theresa another seamstress. She had him try on the suit and just starred as she had no clue how she was going to fix this. Plus the computer was down so they couldn’t see what the other woman was supposed to do. She listened to my husband and made some suggestions and the came up with plan. She asked that he came back in a few days and that it would ready. We explained that the wake was at 2pm that day. She said she would do her best and to come back at 1pm. Upon arriving back at 1pm. He tried the suit and she explained she did the best she could with what she had. Other seamstress had royally messed it up cutting away too much material. When he tried it on it did look a little better than what it had before. Theresa was still not happy about the way it sat on my husband. So she had him try on 34 to see what she could. The suit per her fitted perfectly and all that would need altered was the sleeves and the trouser length. He had his black dress boots he would be wearing and she measured the length of the pants for his boots.
There was another young man there who i had asked if he could find a pair of shoes that were 11 1/2. He said they had none. As Theresa was fixing the new suit I found a pair of shoes that were 11 1/2. Incompetent and lazy boy said I looked. He was rude too.
Now remember the wake is at 2pm it’s now 1.15pm. We still have to go back to the house get ready and go to the funeral home. We also had other things that we were supposed to do that we could not do due to the incompetent staff and the screw up. Now we knew we were going to be late and there was nothing we could do.

Theresa made magic happen she altered the suit to perfection.

What we found out is that the other woman charged us over $250 in alterations. When all we needed was a sleeve and leg length altered. She scammed my husband in his vulnerability. We still did not get all that back and we were late for his own mothers wake shut to your staff being in complained scammers.

What ever you do. DO NOT BUY from mens warehouse. Especially Milford CT.

And a HUGE shout out to Theresa who was the only staff member who helped my husband. She was amazing.

I thought it was going to be awful.....

I drug my husband into the Greenwood, IN Men's Wearhouse to get a sport coat from this millenium. Nelson was very helpful and listened attentively. He was spot on for the recommendations. Nelson made sure that the jacket was a good fit and ordered one in the correct size and color. I thought this was going to be a very painful morning, but it turned out great. Thanks to Nelson.

Unless you are black, and only making a purchase, good luck getting any help

1.) Unless you are black, don't expect to be helped.
2.) When they realized I was attempting to make a return, everyone disappeared.
3.) When I finally asked if anyone could help me was told that only a Manager to do that and he was "busy".
4.) When the Manager finally approached me he said that on-line purchases needed to be made on-line. I explained that his website said that I could make returns to the store.
5.) Then the Manager complained that he would need to contact Customer Service and then he would need to pack up my return and ship it back himself.
6.) I thanked him and explained "this is why I don't want to do business with this store" and left.

Good Service

I will continue to buy work clothes at Men's Warehouse due to the service. When shopping alone, I find that the employees input and assistance is very helpful when shopping and I need to know if something looks good.

Don't rent Tux from Men's Warehouse

I rented a Tux from Men's Warehouse for my daughter's wedding that was a few days ago. I am the father of the bride and all groomsmen etc. ordered their tuxes there as well. The wedding party included my two sons as well, one of which was the officiant for the wedding. Where to begin, slim fit was ordered but my son, the officiant received slim jacket but regular pants. My son is 6'3" and the jacket was very short. Mgmt at the store told him they could do nothing about the pants as the warehouse was out of his size in the style ordered. My rental started with a jacket with one sleeve 2 inches shorter than the other but nothing else that I knew of at the time. The wedding venue was 1 1/2 hours out of Houston and so when I was notified that my alterations were ready, I went to the store to pick up my rental plus my son's. While there I took the opportunity to bring up the issue with my son's rental which was met with point the finger at someone else- the warehouse. Ultimately, they gave my son a $50 credit on the rental and ordered a second pair of pants. The pants arrived the following day right before we left for the wedding. I picked up the pants and we drove to the wedding destination. Fast forward, the new pants were 8 inches short so my son had to use the mismatch set. My rental started with the jacket button popping off during the middle of the ceremony and my pocket handkerchief not being included in the rental package. Not such a big thing, well it is in pictures when your the only one in a Tux without the white handkerchief standing next to the bride. This is not an experience that anyone should have to go through especially after paying $270.00 for the rental. When brought up to the store and complaint line, they offered an apology and a $50 gift certificate or at least the complaint line rep did, but it wasn't even sincere. It is amazing how poor customer service has become these days and it is ever present and evident in Men's warehouse. I remember years ago, they were not this way but rest assured things have changed with them. I will never refer anyone to them if possible and will not shop in any of their stores as it is clear that for them, a simple I'm sorry and a gift card absolves them from all !!

Better check your order as soon as you…

Better check your order as soon as you can… Expensive for rentals and when We went thru the north canton location for my sons wedding, buttons were missing on suit jackets which meant we had to figure out another last minute pickup by the time they got such a ridiculous over looked item handled that should of been noticed in the first place! Suits were ready last minute which everyone knows how busy you are for Big weddings and don’t have time for these extra trips! For the EXPENSIVE amount you pay, you should not have to worry about this when you place your orders way ahead! RIDICULOUS! We got no type of inconvenience refund!

Every man deserves to look this good.

I enjoyed my shopping experience more than the trips I used to make to the garment district with my father in the '60s. The atmosphere, the ambiance, and the professionalism of the staff exceeded any shopping experience I have ever had before. I was assisted by Store Manager MD Hasan, and Tailor Mr. Tousat (spelled phonetically) at the 18 West Circle Drive, Valley Stream, New York, location. 516-887-2423.(Store 5411) Initially, I was undecided about renting or buying a tuxedo for my niece's wedding. I put them both (Hassan, and the tailor) through the paces. I am very picky, and I wanted my tuxedo to fit like a glove. I paid cash. Well, I used my debit card; same thing. When I returned to pick up the tailored tuxedo, I was once again given white glove treatment; the same way I saw every customer being treated. When I put on the tuxedo, in the fitting room, and looked at myself, in the mirror, I felt instantly transformed. I had rented tuxedoes before, but this one was going to be mine to keep. No one has a right to look as good as I look in that Men's Warehouse tuxedo. Oh, I got Calvin Klein everything. I even purchased the shoes, socks, suspenders, shirt, and bow tie! What was most enjoyable was the way the staff worked as a team. Every staff member was listening to every customer, and lending support, acknowledgment, and a positive nod of approval when the fits were fitting. If you have never purchased a suit in the garment district, I strongly recommend The Men's Warehouse; Store 5411 for a great suit, and an authentic experience.

One of the worst retail experiences

One of the worst retail experiences. I hardly leave reviews either good or bad and felt this one was necessary. We had my son’s measurements done in a Men’s Wearhouse in Ohio for a tux to be sent to a location in Charlotte NC for a wedding where he was the ring bearer. He is normal size for an 8 yo boy and they sent a man’s tie with the shipment.
The person who received the order in NC apparently didn’t check or notice this, so when we went in to pick up the tux it was obviously the wrong size. This was 2 days before the wedding when they messaged us that his tux was ready. They reordered his size and told us it would be in the next morning. They said they would call first thing to let me know. They did not call, I had to call them and they said the shipment did not come in, but was scheduled to come in the next morning. Again same promise to call me first thing and again no call from them. When I called them they again said it still had not come in. The wedding was later that day and they said it may come in a shipment they were expecting in another hour and they would call back. For the third time they did not call back. This was with three different associates from the same store who made a promise to call back and did not. The button down was also dirty on the sleeve and the groom as well as father of the groom had alteration issues at this location. They did not offer any compensation or alternative so we had to use a safety pin to keep the tie tight around his neck and had to tuck the bottom into his trousers. One of the worst customer service experiences ever. I understand mistakes happen, but promises were then made and not kept and they did not seem to care or try to correct their many errors. I would not recommend or use these stores again.

Independence Missouri store

Independence Missouri store: It looked horrendous. I am a big guy but it some how was too big for me in all the wrong places. I looked like I was wearing a pillow case. If it were my wedding I would have refused to take it. When we asked what could be done to fix it all they acknowledged was the cuff lengths, which was virtually a non issue. Even when confronted directly and kindly about it they just ignored us. We could tell the lady knew how bad it looked, but a full tailoring wasn't an option I guess?Or just she didn't want to have to go through it, idk. Maybe they didn't have much time with the wedding that weekend, but in no way did we feel listened to. It looked bad. Plus the guy measuring a month or 3 or so months prior didn't seem very invested.

AVOID ONLINE ORDERS & CLARKSVILLE, TN STORE

I ordered men's loafers, online - Aug 2, $214. Shoes were delivered but did not fit. I returned to Clarksville, TN store in hopes of exchanging. They didn't carry loafers but offered to have smaller size sent to my home. This was Sept 4 and I was given Sept 13 delivery date. Shoes have been in Nashville FedEx facility since Sept 12 and have not moved.

Tired of waiting, I've requested a refund. The Clarksville store will not refund, sending me to the corporate site. Corporate site refuses to refund, saying I need to get it from the Clarksville store! When I just went through a previous text exchange, I was told online could not refund and that I would need to go to the store!!!!!

They have my money. I have nothing. Men's Wearhouse refuses to do anything!

Crazy

Crazy. Went in for fitting for school event. The school choose the style. Went back to pick it up and the suit coat was horribly large while the pants were too short. We told them it was not satisfactory. The salesperson was exceptionally rude. Said “you chose a cheap version that doesn’t come in slim fit so there’s nothing I can do”. I explained that this is what the school had designated but I felt it was not unreasonable that he be given a suit that fit as we had spent over $100 on the rental. Her response was, this is all I can do, so you want to take it or not”?. My son is an escort for a homecoming court young lady. To say “forget it” would be impossible as the event is next week. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Measured wrong

Rented suits from them two times. Both times everything was sized wrong and I had to go back two times to get the suits. Both times the suits were not fitting properly the 2nd time. One of the times I received my suit 3 hours before my daughter’s wedding and the pants and coat still didn’t fit. I will never use them again.

I purchased a suit 6 weeks ahead of a wedding. I paid upfront. They didn’t have the pants in stock, but said they’d be shipped & available in store in 2 weeks. They said they’d call when they arrived. After 3 weeks, I hadn’t gotten a call, so I called them. They couldn’t find my order#, and said they’d call back. 2 hours later, they called to say the order I paid for 3 weeks ago was cancelled 2 weeks ago. It was cancelled because the suit they just sold me had been discontinued. They said their system isn’t set up to notify customers whose orders have been cancelled by Men’s Wearhouse even though it’s been paid in full for 3 weeks.
As a consolation, they offered to “waive the RUSH DELIVERY FEE” for a replacement suit. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? They cancelled my paid order, didn’t call to tell me, At this point, I’ve lost 3 weeks and they can’t get me another suit for 5 more days with a “WAIVED RUSH DELIVERY FEE”.
Today I went in to return the suit coat I’d bought, and try the new suit. The pants need altering, and they’re telling me it will take 8 more days to hem the pants…FOR 50 MORE DOLLARS!!!
This means that I’ll be picking up the pants the day before the wedding, and I have absolutely no faith that it will happen.
THIS IS NOT A BUSINESS YOU CAN TRUST. THEY ARE VERY DISORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
IF YOU NEED A SUIT IN LESS THAN 8 WEEKS, DON’T TRUST THEM.

After multiple purchases from Men's Warehouse, I wouldn't so much as buy a pair of socks from them

If I could I'd rate them zero stars! I just spent nearly $625 on a new suit and sport coat from Men's Warehouse. I was measured for alterations and was charged $97 for them. When I picked up the garments they didn't fit, in fact, they fit worse than when I was measured. They measured me again for additional alterations and, to my displeasure, charged me a second time for the alterations. I find $200, nearly 1/3 the cost of the clothes, on alterations OUTRAGEOUS! I feel that I should have only been charged for them once since THEY measured me and charged me for alterations that THEY said would make them fit. When they didn't get it right, they charged me again. I bought these clothes for a wedding that was coming up quickly and had no choice but to pay it.
