Absolutely Outstanding

Absolutely Outstanding

We had a fantastic visit to The Merry Monk and couldn’t fault a thing.
The food was superb — beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and clearly made with care and attention.

What truly set the experience apart, though, was the service. The team were incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive, genuinely friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. That warm, personal touch is rare and makes all the difference.

It’s obvious that pride is taken in both the food and the way guests are looked after. A wonderful atmosphere, excellent hospitality, and a place we’ll be very happy to return to — and recommend without hesitation.
