Mersey MDF, Plas, and Ply is a family-owned and run company focused on delivering a premier quality service at affordable prices.

Founded in 1919 as Mersey Timber Ltd the company has developed into a decorative board, sheet material specialist, hardware and bespoke manufacturing and cutting facility.

All of our products are responsibly sourced and, where appropriate, FSC certified. We stock a wide range of sheet materials including OSB; MDF; plywood; melamine faced chipboard; real wood veneers and an extensive range of decorative boards, either on stock or available to order, from the world’s leading manufacturers such as Kronospan, Egger, Xylo Cleaf, Sonae and Finsa to name but a few.

WHAT WE DO.

From our state of the art manufacturing facility in Liverpool we deliver all our products nationwide to customers in England, Scotland and Wales.

We provide bespoke cutting services and decorative edging services; the manufacture of made-to-measure kitchen and bedroom doors; carcass components; plinth and kickboard, cut to size MDF and other sheet material, made-to-measure shelving, and contract furniture production.

We also supply all aspects of hardware including hinges, handles, fixings, tool accessories, adhesives, sliding door gear, 3D wall, and much, much more.

We strive to provide a first-class customer service and a first-class product every time.

Great range of plinths and colours

I needed to replace the beech coloured plinth in my kitchen, which had become worn and stained through age. However most retailers don’t do wood colours these days. So it was great to find a company that does and in a range of colours, as well as cut to precise measurements!

A big customer service drop off on previous experience

A big drop off on previous experience. In the past had great service and good communication. This time can't get an idea on delivery times, despite asking for days in advance, even a few promised returned calls didn't happen. Noting like in the past.

So this poor customer service now costs me money instead of just getting reasonable communication.

Kitchen plinth…

Ordered a custom sized kitchen plinth for a customer. The product was reasonably priced and arrived quickly.
The thing I liked best about Mersey was they didn't charge additional "small order" fees, unlike other manufacturers.
