Now we can’t say here we were stolen in Metamask that our review is removed. But I was stolen in my Metamask wallet in over $300,000, 5,866,265 DMTR tokens. What’s up? From the response that Metamask gives, it seems that we want to be stolen, when in fact it was simply reinforcing its security in withdrawals. Something simple, right? And no, it’s not true, 2fA is possible, it’s just read crypto.com. And, at least, the security would be so much stronger. Unfortunately, if you can't protect your customers adequately, then you should go out of business. Just look at reports of theft on trustpilot, this is not and never will be normal. You don't have to try to convince me because you won't succeed. The uniswap that is a dex like you has a "face id" as extra security. 2fa is not the only way to improve security. Unfortunately, you will only learn when people start to act in a judicial way. It is because of this type of issue and excuse that the market will be regulated soon, we will see if this insecure business model survives. There is a concrete reason why you are so poorly evaluated. You don't get better because you don't want to. This will certainly generate a response from the stolen customers, let's wait!

As explained in the article, 2FA doesn't work on decentralized blockchains for a few reasons. The main one is that they're self custodial. If someone has your Secret Recovery Phrase/mnemonic/seed there is no 2FA in the world that will stop an on-chain transaction.
Some centralized providers do offer custodial services for crypto users that aren't comfortable with the responsibility of owning their security. This is where the adage "Not your keys, not your crypto" comes in. You're placing your trust in that provider to both secure your information, and not just take your assets (do a Google search of those centralized providers to get a sense of why many in Crypto don't place their trust in them)
We work tirelessly to shut down scammers, but we can't stop someone from leaving their wallet in the middle of a busy street. Only educate why that's a pretty bad move for security.
Uniswap used us as a security auditor. (As have many of the well known names in web3 - https://consensys.net/diligence/blog/2019/04/uniswap-audit/) We're one of the oldest in crypto for a good reason.

CSAM, do not trust them your money
They blocked my wallet. Customer service said I need to pay miner's fee 30K within 48 hours, and if don't my funds will go to public and I will need to pay another 15% as a penalty of breach a contract. I had to transfer that amount to someone's account. When I asked where can I read this rule in a contract, they told me just google it, it is standard practice. What a SCAM.

Since I lost my funds last year and haven't been able to use the wallet as a result, I've stopped using it. Such a scam wallet and they deliberately left the loophole for scammers to take advantage of. What a scam!!!

Don’t use this company! They scam
So my account got hacked by a “sweeper bot” when I got into contact with them and tried to get my money back. They said there was nothing they could do unless it was over $1000 and even then they’d take a 5-10 cut. They even tried to blame me. Saying the hackers had gotten my phrases even though I only have them written down on paper in my home. This company is an absolute joke please stay as far away from them as you can. Not kidding. Do not use.

Hello everyone!
I have no idea why this exchange is rated so bad... Maybe people just aren't experienced in crypto and blame their fails on this wallet. Never had any problems sincerely, only came here to support metamask's rating.
Generally people will keep using it successully and that's obvious!

Best wallet for EVM compatible coins, all those other reviews are by people who gave scammers their private keys or seed phrases and then blame Metamask for it...
The whole crypto space would not be where it is today without MetaMask, it enabled us to handle NFTs, Decentralized exchanges etc. in a non-custodial way. I salute you!

Bad company/Terrible security
Bad company who will flat out refuse to replace stolen/missing crypto. I bought some Tether from Binance, then withdrew it to my MetaMask wallet. As soon as the transaction was a success in Binance I checked my MM wallet only to see nothing. I contacted MM live support. I was advised that the funds were taken by something called a sweeper. MM basically said that my laptop must be corrupted and that I must have shared my security phrase & password with someone or had it noted in an online notepad or spreadsheet. This is nonesense as I'd have to be pretty dumb to take a note of those things on any laptop or computer from fear of this exact thing happening. I assured them I had done nothing wrong & certainly never shared my MM personal details with anyone ever. But live chat continued to try & blame me for this 'sweeper' and advised there was nothing they could do. Disgusting! My laptop has top notch security & no other account of any kind has ever been compromised.
The lack of security with this wallet is scary. USE AT YOUR PERIL!

I had crypto assets on my Metamask…
I had crypto assets on my Metamask wallet and everything vanished. I did not do anything wrong or never shared any info. I contacted the customer support of Metamask and they contacted me from the security dept. They answered to me that i am liable for the loss of my assets even if i never shared any critical info. I would really recommand to any one that wants to deal with NFT's or crypto to not get close to this Metamask because they will refuse to help and solve a situation.

All my other wallets send me emails where I have to confirm a transfer. Metamask does not do that and recently I had all my funds stolen somehow from my account.
