I ordered a molcajete, the pestle for crushing salsa and when it came it was TEENY. It was nothing like the photo on the site or the one on the packing invoice. It was a crude cone shape 4.3" long and 1.5" across the flat base. The grinding angles had not been smoothed out and it felt bad in the hand, not good for even a small quantity of salsa. The CSR said she would send a return label and give me a refund. Too much trouble. I won't recommend them and certainly will not trade with them again.

Prices are twice or more than other online sellers. Do Google search for other options don't overpay!!! you'll be surprised how many sellers are out there with better prices.

The website should be avoided like the plague. I purchased 15oz products and was delivered 8oz and charged for the larger size. When you receive confirmation of your sale there is no description of the product you purchased. It's a number. When you contact to protest you have no evidence to support your claim. Clever huh? If you price their products online, you will find them overly expensive. An online vendor to avoid.

Placed an order this morning, and after I got the confirmation, I realized I entered the wrong shipping address. Sent an email and had immediate response! Not only did they fix my address, but they got the shipment out same day! My mistake, but they made it right. Love their products and now I love their customer service team as well!

I ordered a clay jug from MexicanGrocer. Huge mistake! The night I filled it, I discovered it leaked horribly and so much water that it was like a small pond had formed on my dresser within a matter of minutes. I tried sealing it with coco oil, butter, wax-NOTHING kept it from leaking. I contacted Mexgrocer about it and they emailed the company to see what I could seal it with. I replied and sent a video to show them how much this thing leaks and have never heard back from Mexgrocer. I purchased another glazed jug just so I could have a functioning one. I am very disappointed that I had thought the customer service was better because it is evident from my video that this was not just sweating water. It was downright leaking and forming a formidable pool of water beneath it. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I don't want someone else to throw their money away on this useless jug or unsatisfactory store and not have their money refunded at all like in my case. Please, please buy from anyone but MexGrocer and save yourself the money and hassle. The jug was absolute garbage. Mexgrocer never refunded or tried to remedy the situation at all. They could have at least refunded my money! I also tried to leave a review on their website, but they never posted it. I will never shop with them again!

I purchased a terracotta water jug and it was in poor condition,cracked cup and the outer jug grew mold when filled with water.Customer service never returned emails or my phone calls. Very disappointing when I spent money with the store many times.

I ordered masa for tamales and received it in a broken down box, not properly refrigerated (with just small packs that were suppose to be frozen, but were all water and warm), and the masa was warm. This is not the proper packaging for perishable items, this is against FDA regulations! They don’t answer their phones or emails. I will NEVER shop with them again!! Buyer beware!!

Purchased $40.00 Usd in spices and was charged $45.00 USD for shipping. On delivery was carved another $16.00 for import fees. No reply to emails to get answer to extra charge. After some research, discovered These guys have a terrilbe track record.

*update* purchased a tortilla press from this place and immediately out of the box it smelled as if it were spray painted silver. Literally, spray painted. I touched it with my hand and the silver paint rubbed off on my fingers! I grabbed some tissue papers and the silver paint kept coming off. I can't put food/tortillas on this thing and the paint is coming off. I will be returning this item. I will never buy from mexgrocer

I bought 10 packs of the Maseca Blue on 31 March 2020 and it was delivered on 1st week of April and there are all expiring in 15 May 2020 ! Although good selection of products but I wouldn’t buy from them again !

I had a big party, and I decided to order from mexgrocer some important items. I received the package, and out of 8 items that I ordered, I only received one correct. I called the off hours number without an answer. Now, I had to cancel my plans because I do not have the items to cook my meals. Be careful what you wish for, you may get the wrong items with them.

Ordered with expedited shipping based on the "shipping estimate" they provide with the items. Didn't ship in time so I emailed them to cancel and didn't hear back. Waited a few more days and still no response so I emailed again. Doesn't matter if an item is labeled as "in stock" the estimates are useless if they aren't going to actually ship the items.

Products ordered are never available. They immediately bill your credit card and they never ship. After two weeks of inquiring. If you complain enough, the "President of the Company" will call you back with more excuses.

I cannot relate to what others are saying here. I ordered several bottles of herbal shampoo and conditioner. The products arrived "early", were well protected, price was reasonable. I couldn't be MORE PLEASED with these people. I'd say give them a chance! And FYI, I am a white American and I have very high standards when I shop. Thank you, MexGrocer and God Bless you all!

I ordered a sugar free soda for a gift for a diabetic. I paid $17.50 a six pack. They sent regular soda (.89cents a bottle in any store) and have failed to respond to requests regarding order. UNACCEPTABLE! Not to be over dramatic; but that mistake could really hurt someone!

Ordered two bags Gaunabana leaves price14.00 dollars a bag cost of shipping was 36.00 dollars received it in good time.But, was very poor quality.Looked like it was swept off floor.Won't be placing another order from them any time soon!!! Very disappointed.

I ordered an item on Dec. 21, 2015 and paid extra fro 3 day delivery. Nothing has arrived but they were very prompt in billing my card. It is now Jan. 3 and after making 3 calls to their "company" (I doubt their really is such a thing) I haven't heard a peep or seen a thing. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They appear to be swindlers.

I ordered 10 non alcoholic sangria from the website and a few days later they called me saying they only had in stock 5, I thought it is ok but I was paying a lot for the delivery but I accepted, a few days after I got my sangria and surprise it wasn't the one I ordered, they were smaller and in plastic bottles instead of glass. I called them for a refund because It wasn't what I wanted, the collection guy was really rude and called really early in the morning when they said to me they will collect late in the afternoon, very messy, after all I got my refund but surprise again nobody payed me for the delivery cost, and I emailed to the manager a few times and he just gave me excuses all the time, so in the end I just paid delivery for nothing, I am not happy at all and I will never order anything from them again.

I received my order from MexGrocer and must tell you I am very disappointed.

I ordered 12 packages of "assorted candies" and packages of drink mixes. These items were to be used as favors at a table I am hosting at a community soup kitchen and given as gifts to the people who dine at my Mexican themed table. Instead of receiving 12 nice packages as seen on your website, I got Ziploc baggies with random mismatched candy! Some baggies have a chocolate pop, some don't, some have 5 pieces of candy, some have 6. It looks as though you had some broken packages and decided to throw the candy in Ziplocs just to get rid of it. What a joke!
