I have never in my entire life had a company I PAID to subscribe to not have a private customer support way of contacting them. Instead, you have a forum (Discord) and a bunch of paid mods people that... See more

This is a total SCAM! I have never once visited this site when suddenly I woke up one morning with 312 USD taken out of my account by midjourney. I am always careful with my card and never buy things online from sketchy sites. I never once received any kind of receipt from midjoruney regarding this supposed purchase.

Scammers..Never visited their web, and never heard about them but I was charged by 180 USD
Wrote to their support and no result, week of excuses they can't find transactions. although I provided all the data from the bank for these transactions
I’m always careful with the card, I’ve never bought anything on any dubious site, I don’t use a physical card, only apple pay. So there is no point in referring to data leaks to third parties. As their support does nothing, the motive is obvious

I have generally had good luck with Midjourney, ranging from having a high level of reliability (uptime, not many bugs, etc.) to having a decent enough experience with them periodically adding new features and making it easier to Do Things.
I am taking away one star for the lack of customer support and the fact that there is no way to get in touch with anyone.

Never had any dealings with midjourney and they have debited me $120 for a 'Mega Plan'. There is somevery nefarious stuff going on here. Stolen credit card details being used to credit themselves. Very BAD.

Excellent product... However, Not business friendly at all. As a matter of fact if you try to build company using their product they will ban you.
Customer support is quick but horrible. They basically give you one sentence answers and tell you to pound sand.

After contacting Mid-Journey, and commenting in jest with their instructions, that "Mid-Journey was a lot like the early internet. 'It didn't work,'" they terminated my Discord user profile claiming that I had violated Discord's TOS by doing something illegal. indeed, their software doesn't work. Discord get's in the way of their account set up and user on-boarding. This is critical to a startups growth and survival. Adobe, Google, and OpenAI are already catching up to them in quality. I was reaching out to them to potentially fix their problem. I've fixed a similar problem with Stripe. After reviewing the company profile, I'd go with a mature company like Adobe, rather than one that displays this kind of attitude.
Edit after MJ reply: "Community safety" is not the explanation for the problem stated above and not for the behavior. Although I am sympathetic to the difficulties in using Discord and Stripe, the problem is likely an error in MJ's implemented code or a bug in third party software. It may be a "Heisinbug", or concurrency issue that is inconsistent. E.G. their server receives a single or multiple responses from Stripe, and stores the response/s before it writes to the DB. Due to concurrency issues, it then writes to the wrong tuples or not at all. Yet the error doesn't appear in the developer environment, and doesn't appear consistently. Consistent customer complaints, indicates there is a PROBLEM. While most costumers are successful. This gives a naive observer a perception that it must be the few customers who are the problem, not the software. Adobe, ChatGPT are very good alternatives and do not have these issues. They also do not use Discord. The benefit of discord for MJ is that a user can see how to get their desired image. This shortens the learning curve. However, this could also be accomplished simply by having a forum, or a separate log that is accessible publicly. This would remove Discord from its power over MJ while giving examples on it's use.

What a cluster ...k. Discord gets in the way of creating an account. After creating an account and signing up for a paid MidJourney subscription, then you must creat another Discord account. So the two accounts are not linked together and you cannot generate images. You cannot link the accounts, and you cannot do anything. I haven't had this much problems since I was 10 using Windows 8. This would be the LAST company I would invest in until they fix this cr@p. What a cluster!
One star is even too much. Dont use it, They use discord channel to provide premium services, even if you do that, somehow their system does not work. Invitation does not work, just a huge waste of time.
The Midjourney image filters are so restrictive that I'm unable to generate images I need for for art projects. For example, blending two hairstyles together triggers the "Image denied, Request cancelled due to image filters" error if the shoulders are bare, viewed from the back. Stupid and ridiculous. The images I used were generate previously by Midjourney! I pay a premium to use Midjourney and it's money wasted.
Great product, has nuance that makes it more advantageous than other tools, but as others have stated the customer service is abysmal, there are periods of time when the systems do not work and no restitution is ever made nor apologies given for half days without service.
They rely on community members for help/support and therefore you're at the mercy of random weirdos with inflated egos who have no authority or power through midjourney to actually solve issues.
Used it before paid subscription introduction
Actually liked how it works and the results I could get, but the idea of paid subscription on discord isn't a bright idea as for me
yet i tried paid version in October and immediately cancelled it
Constant downtimes and abysmal speeds in "relax" mode.
Worst "customer service" I've ever experienced. Been a paid member since the beginning of 2023, and randomly received a notification the other day that my account was banned. No warning, no explanation. I was completely blocked from discord so I couldn't ask support for help. Tried emailing billing but they were useless. Posted a question on reddit and it was deleted. I'm paid through July and apparently they think they'll just steal the rest of my subscription? What a joke.
Midjourney is a nightmare. The product itself is ok and i got a good result but when i subscribed it refused to let me back in. The login perpetually fails. I tried everything. When I attempted to get help all i got was a link to my account, so I cancelled. Absolutely the worst login ever.
The subscription is debited, but no credits/subscription monies are visible. Support does not respond.
There are very good alternatives, which I will now use.
Very disappointing for such a hyped company
Predatory billing practices! Not cool. Cancelled plan charged me anyways. No support whatsoever. Corporate mind numbing response incoming but not a solution. Stay away and use better more established companies that treat their customers right.
I would give ZERO stars if possible.
The quality of the images generated is very high with the introduction of version 6! Although, too many prompts are banned, even if it is meant tastefully!
Midjourney also needs to introduce character consistency for it to take a huge leap ahead of its competitors!
Overall, the team has actively been working on presenting bringing new useful updates for its users! Keep it up!
Good afternoon. I paid you $30 in one month and took only about 170 images. After that, my account was blocked.
Return my money immediately!
Banned my account and refusing to issue a refund.
