Bought the power disks through the Miele website sale. Products arrived promptly and well packaged, we have used this product on numerous times as it’s convenient and cleans very well.

After five years and three repairs the engineer advised my to replace my washing machines as it was at the end of it’s life, very disappointed!

I've always believed Miele products are among the best, and my new washer dryer certainly lives up to that reputation. The quality is outstanding, and you really can't doubt the engineering and performance that Miele is known for.
The sales team also deserves recognition. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely happy to help, offering great advice and excellent value throughout the purchasing process.
Unfortunately, my after-sales delivery experience was a completely different story.
On the first delivery attempt, the outsourced delivery company, Product Care, refused to deliver the appliance, claiming there was nowhere to park, despite me showing them a suitable parking space directly outside my garage. Miele responded professionally by apologising for the inconvenience, offering a goodwill gesture, and arranging a second delivery. I specifically requested a different delivery team because one of the drivers had been quite rude.
To my disappointment, the same driver arrived for the second delivery. This time, he had no issue parking in exactly the same place. However, his attitude remained negative throughout. He repeatedly said he didn't think he could remove my old washer dryer because the water connection pipe wouldn't come off. I asked if I could try myself, and it came off easily. He then questioned whether the new machine could be carried upstairs to my kitchen, even though this had been clearly noted on the delivery instructions. Once they managed to get it upstairs, he complained about how heavy it was and even said he didn't like delivering Miele products. I was genuinely shocked to hear this from a company contracted to deliver on Miele's behalf.
The most disappointing part came when they removed my old machine. In doing so, they damaged my carpet. When I raised the issue, I was simply told, "Well, that is expected. There's nothing we can do about that." I've never experienced such an unprofessional response from a delivery company.
Once again, Miele handled the complaint well. They apologised sincerely, and after several emails back and forth, they agreed to cover the cost of cleaning the damaged carpet.
Overall, Miele remains a fantastic company with exceptional products, an excellent sales team, and customer service that genuinely tries to put things right when problems arise. However, I strongly believe they need to review the standards of their outsourced delivery partners. Companies like Product Care are damaging Miele's hard-earned reputation, and the delivery experience simply doesn't reflect the premium quality that Miele stands for.

I reported a problem with the oven temperature being incorrect and was sent a new oven probe. When I used the oven again with an automatic programme and the new probe the result as a piece of extremely rare beef which was not what I wanted. I complained at the service centre and got told that I must have put the probe in an air pocket. I don't find this satisfactory at all.

here is nothing professional about this company. I have spent over $20,000 on appliances, and while the products themselves are great, the customer service is absolutely terrible.
The way this company is run shows they simply do not care about their customers. After spending that much money, I would expect at least some loyalty and a better level of service.
When you call to arrange a technician, one agent tells you one thing. Then you call back to confirm, and another agent gives you completely different information. They seem clueless, and the lack of communication is genuinely appalling.
For a company selling premium appliances, I expected premium customer service. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing.

Repair person came within a few days of booking exactly when they said they would.

Although I was not here for the visit myself my wife did not report anything amiss. The repair was completed to our satisfaction.

I bought the Miele W1 Selection a few months ago. It was a luxury, (hopefully last purchase) item for me at over £850, but I was tired of replacing machines every 2 or 3 years. But after reading all the hype, I'm a bit disappointed. Yes its solid, yes its quite high tech, but I was taken in by reviews saying how quiet it is....yes, if you have a solid floor. I haven't, so when it spins, it vibrates a bit, and is definitely not quiet, and on most programmes you're stuck with lower spin speeds, as you can't change them, and I like a nearly dry finish. But my biggest moan is (and don't think I'm a bit pedantic here), but, well, don't waste your money on fragrance boosters or fabric conditioners if, like me, you love a nicely scented wash on the line. The rinse features are brutal, and no matter how much softener you use, the lovely smell is non existent, gone! I've tried every programme, even using the single rinse/starch one, it still rinses away any softener. If what the reviews say is true that these machines can last over 20 years, then I'm stuffed for lovely smelling washing, because I'm 80 years old, so this machine will definitely outlive me! Obviously being a quality item, it is slightly larger than most machines, and its mega heavy, so pulling it out to clean under and behind it, as I've always done with other machines, this is a non starter for me, even the delivery drivers struggled with it! But its a solid, good machine on the whole, but I do miss that lovely smell of fabric conditioner. But I'm stuck with it.......for everrrrrr!

In my earlier review (17th July) I deliberately left my comments brief, as they were sufficient to illustrate the ineptitude we encountered throughout this debacle. I could have added the fact that although my bank account was debited on the day of the order, Miele could not trace it despite confirming on the day that it was successful. The Miele mottos are “You can always trust in Miele” and “Once a Miele, always a Miele”. We have eight Miele devices, but it is clear that this long standing loyalty is not reciprocated. Miele say that their refusal to provide recompense for the numerous problems with this order is in line with their customer care policy, which is an obvious oxymoron. All my Trustpilot reviews for other suppliers have been positive. This is the first negative one that I have felt compelled to lodge, and the number of recent negative reviews from other customers illustrates how far Miele standards have fallen lately. Such a pity for a company which I have always supported, and so easily avoidable. I really do hope they get their act together and return to their previous high standards.

My washing machine broke down a few days before we were due to go on holiday; luckily I managed to get an appointment straight away and it was fixed and working again in no time! The engineer was very knowledgable and everything went very smoothly. Faultless service.

Awful experience with product reliability and customer services despite owning a Miele fridge, freezer, wine cooler, washing machine and tumble dryer -thankfully all with a ten year warranty that I paid a lot of money to extend and have the peace of mind. Unfortunately the one product I bought at vast expense, a Fashionmaster Iron system, didn’t offer me the ten year warranty option. Having had reliability problems with it over the years it stopped working altogether. Miele charged £180 for a service technician to tell me to buy a new one from them for £1850 and they would credit the £180 call out. They would not price match other places that sell their product for £1450. I enquired whether as a loyal customer they would look at a gesture of goodwill such as price matching the price I could buy this elsewhere from or whether they would chuck in a complimentary ten year warranty given the trouble I had experienced with the Fashionmaster,
and my history of spending thousands of pounds with them over the years. They declined to make a gesture of goodwill over and above taking the service engineers bill off a new appliance which they price at £400 more than their dealers. My advice - don’t buy a Fashionmaster. I’m going to move to Laurastar having read they look after their customers better. I won’t buy Miele again!
