Happy new customer

I recently ordered from Mimi Holliday due to a friend recommending. I don’t mind spending money on decent underwear so I went for it. I ordered was the Ava Rose bra and I absolutely love it. Comfortable but hubby loves it too 😉 It was really nicely wrapped as well. I think I will be purchasing again as soon as I can!

Beautiful lingerie. I am in love

I recently ordered from Mimi Holliday for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. The lingerie is absolutely beautiful and the service was fantastic - delivered 2 days after I ordered. I don’t normally write reviews but this experience was too good to not share. Well done Mimi Holliday!

Disappointed with quality

I bought one of their bras from Bravissimo a little while ago, I admit, but because I have several bras and rarely wear this black one it hasn’t been much worn. The straps have started to unravel and weaken and I’ve now thrown the thing away. I shan’t be purchasing from them again.

Subject- DATA BREACH by New Company

Subject- DATA BREACH by New Company

The new company Mimi Holliday London Ltd have sent mailers to me and thousands of others who have not signed up to the new company. My data has been breached.

I emailed them to ask where they got my details from and they advised I signed up to ‘Mimi Holliday’. They chose to ignore that I signed up to a company who sold Mimi Holliday and that old company no longer exists. But they have got my details as well as thousands of others.

I and others have reported this to the ICO.

Following my experience, the new company is still sending out emails to the old company database, noting that if they want to be removed from the subscribers list they need to unsubscribe, if they don’t they will still send mailers.
I am horrified of this data breach of thousands of people.

It is important to clarify that there hasn't been a data breach and that you have received one promotional email from us in 5 months.  

You may not be aware that we liaised with the ICO before sending any emails. When we received your review, dated 2nd March 2021, we reached out to the ICO, before replying to you, to ensure we were fully addressing your review. The ICO confirmed that this is in no way a data breach (which is something quite different) and that our process for emailing you was fully in line with their guidelines.   

Your review is dated 7 weeks after you received your only email from us on 10th January 2021. You wrote to us on 26th January 2021, asking why you had received this email. We replied on the same day explaining that "Our records show that you have previously purchased from Mimi Holliday and, as such, your details feature on our emailing list.  Please do advise if you would like us to remove your details from our email list and I will activate this today for you."  This is very much in line with ICO guidelines.

We did not receive a reply from you but took the liberty of removing you from our database so that you did not receive further promotional emails.  We are, of course, sorry that you do not wish to hear from us about Mimi products or updates but many Mimi customers had written to us asking when they would be able to buy Mimi products online again, and expressing their happiness that they can now do so.

We typically send emails every two to three weeks with news and product updates which is below the industry average. Obviously we do not always get it right, but it is for this reason that we exceed ICO advice by including 2 unsubscribe links in our emails, including one right at the very top to allow a quick and easy method to unsubscribe.  Our customer team also strive to be responsive and helpful, as we are also lingerie addicts and online consumers so we try our best to offer the quality of service that we ourselves would like to receive.

Using personal emails without consent

This new company selling Mimi Holiday is sending emails to people that have not signed up to the new companies mailing list.
I had signed up to the old company selling Mimi Holliday.
I saw a survey on a social media lingerie blog that many people have been sent emails from the new company without their consent.
Some of us have formally advised the ICO of this. I was a Mimi Holiday fan, but this is not a nice start to the new company, so I will not be purchasing from the company nor will I sign up to it.

We want to reassure you that we liaised with the ICO before sending the email we believe you are referring to, and followed their published and verbal advice to us. We also discussed this particular matter with the ICO this morning following your review. The ICO have confirmed that our process for this email was indeed correct, and followed their recommendations for emails like this.

The email we believe you are referring to was entitled: "To be or not to be...? Please let us know whether you wish to hear from Mimi."

The email copy stated:

We are unable to locate your details within our records so please do let us know if there are any steps you would like us take regarding your details, as it is not our intention to send emails to anyone who does not wish to receive them. The entire purpose of the email was to give previous email subscribers the opportunity to opt out of future emails to help them keep their email inbox tidy.

Thank goodness Mimi is back, and it appears they are under new ownership - hurray! They have hit the ground running, as all was perfect from purchasing (easy) to packaging (very cute) to product (fantastic quality)!
Thank you for bringing back great products but now with great service as a bonus!!

Really impressed!

I don't treat myself to expensive underwear often but I used some Christmas money to purchase from Mimi Holliday as a few friends had recommended them. I was so pleased when my beautifully packaged order arrived, the fit was perfect and I love the unique designs which are so much more than you can get on the high street. I got the Mimi magic set and I will definitely be back for more. Highly recommended by a Northern mum of three :)

Do NOT support this business

This company has clearly gone bust, back in 2019, taking with it my return which was never refunded. Trying to contact them was impossible as phone lines out, emails bounced back, comments on social media disabled. They are now ADVERTISING again on Instagram!!! Commenting disabled, DMs ignored. DO NOT fall for this scam or support this 'company' they owe so many of us so much money, disgusting treatment of loyal consumers

Another Unfortunate Mimi Holliday Customer!

I am another unfortunate customer of Mimi Holliday who placed an order in March 2019, returned it and am still awaiting a refund. Mimi Holliday ran an 'outlet sale' in March 2019 before promptly disabling their site. All emails are returned undeliverable, and telephone calls are greeted via an automated reply that the line is inactive due to non-payment. Comments on Instagram are disabled, and their Facebook account is deleted.

Returned my order in January

Returned my order in January. Several months worth of emails and phone calls with no answer. This is atrocious customer service. I am still waiting for the refund which I am owed. Looks like I am not the only one.

Edit: the new mimi holliday team did get back to me and offered store credit to the value of my original order. I have been able to get one bra with the credit given. Originally I ordered more than just one bra for this value (as it was on sale). Originally I had wanted to return my items for a better size. I am happy that I was able to get something for my money and the bra is very good quality, and I have finally been able to get the right size. To add to that, now that I have the right size, it does fit well.

In the dark

Both times I submitted an order there was no follow up to emails and the stated shipping times were neglected. The first time I was able to receive my products and a reply as I left a comment on their public Instagram; this time it has been two weeks without a shipment update or response to three emails. The comments on their Instagram have been disabled and my final email bounced back due to the email address no longer being active. I smell a scam, very unfortunate as their products are beautiful. Will have to spend more time on the phone with my credit card company to receive a refund, huge waste of time and disappointment.

Really disappointed with customer service

Really disappointed with customer service. It’s been over a month since I placed my order and I still haven’t received my items. They don’t respond to emails. I feel scammed. The lingerie I did receive is very nice so it’s a shame they don’t know how to run a business

One of the worst customer service you'd…

One of the worst customer service you'd imagine. You place an order, and then days (weeks!) would pass without any response. You'll need to hassle them to find out when (if?) they'll deliver... Shambolic. Shame, because the products are good, but what is the point if they cannot deliver!
