Our deeply disappointing experience with Minibierne
I am writing to share our deeply disappointing experience with Minibierne Kindergarten, particularly our interactions with one of the owners. Our journey at Minibierne started with optimism and hope for a nurturing environment for our son.
Unfortunately, our experience quickly turned sour, leaving us without a place to have our child with no day's notice and with no choice but to withdraw our child from the kindergarten.
Our first concern arose only after 5 days when our 1 year old boy was unwillingly separated from his mother, from the staff, without being given the opportunity to say goodbye. His evident distress, constant crying, and discomfort during this separation prompted my wife to follow the staff to console him. When we came to pick up our child she has reprimanded and the owner making her feel unwelcome and criticized her actions without any prior communication of their policies (She had not did anything different than any other day).
Our attempt to address these concerns about the experience through text communication with Minibierne (owner) was met with resistance and a lack of understanding. Despite our efforts to convey our worries, the owner seemed unwilling to engage in a constructive dialogue. She insisted on a face-to-face meeting, dismissing our concerns and didn’t want to talk about it, even though this contradicted our family's needs and circumstances.
We was told that our child was not welcomed until we had a meeting with her. We tried to explain to her that it is hard to have a meeting with her when nobody can babysit our child.
We were in a new country and didn’t have any family to babysit.
Moreover, the Owner's refusal to acknowledge the challenges faced by our family, unwillingness to listen, coupled with her reluctance to apologize for the distress caused to our child and us was deeply disappointing. Her communication style was defensive, uncooperative, and unsympathetic to our situation.
Her unwillingness to address our concerns and provide a satisfactory explanation left us feeling frustrated and unsupported.
Despite our attempts to reason with the owner, she continued to deflect responsibility, accusing us of things, and having no interest in finding solutions. Her lack of empathy and unwillingness to engage in open, honest communication only served to exacerbate the situation.
In the end, we made the difficult decision to withdraw our child from Minibierne Kindergarten, as we believe it is essential for our child to be in an environment where he feels secure, supported, and understood.
We feel totally scammed by Minibierne - we paid a lot of money that we are not getting back to have our child in Minibierne for only 5 days.
We were left with no place for our child in kindergarten with no notice which left us in a difficult situation.
We hope that by sharing our experience, other parents can make informed decisions about their choice of childcare facilities, avoiding the distressing situation we endured.
