be careful cheating can cause you when you buy expensive things from Miter 10 especially the tools because it's happened to me and my workers
i brought expensive drills and The sales guy told me that The drills comes with three years warranty covered everything and after one year the drill broke down and they said to me the warranty covers only the drill motor
i had arguments with them and i told them why did you guys tell me the warranty covers everything also mentioned in the drill box and now you don't wanna fix it .
anyway my workers will write bad feedback on mitre 10 as well
honestly Bunnings trust company to deal with they never let their costumers unhappy

I would have to rate them lower than the opposition. Never the less it is still nice browsing through the warehouse. Find the staff lovely where I go to shop. Prices are up a little comparing to another hardware.

How to lose a loyal customer? Mitre 10 knows how! I’ve spent years of ‘trusting’ supposedly ‘quality service’ and now I’m quite surprised at the way you treat customers. So when I step in to Mitre 10 New Lynn to have a discussion with the manager Kyle about a line trimmer purchased, I expect to be listened to and my case assessed with ‘the customer’ in mind. How is it that I can be persuaded by your team to purchase a high quality tool and when the machinery has a fault, it’s the customer’s problem? Since November I’ve brought the machine in for repair 3 times. The first time I was told it would be covered under warranty, the second time was supposedly customer error which I had to pay for and the 3rd time I was advised the machine was busted, again due to customer error. How is that I’ve had the same issue with the machine since November, and thus haven’t been able to use it since, brought it in to repair the same issue but have been advised that I’ve used it incorrectly 2 times after the first repair to warrant different feedback on the underlying problem which of course are the customer’s error? Absolutely ridiculous. After using it for a 1 1/2 yrs with no issues to then be told that I’m incompetent, using it incorrectly twice in the space of 5months when my lawn continues to grow, untouched? That’s not a great long term strategy for retaining customers and I’ll be taking my business projects elsewhere, to a brand that truly understands service...

I use Mitre 10 Crofton Downs, Wellington. On a regular basis, always great service and product knowledge. If they don't have it or can't get it in, they advise you where you can. Can't ask more than that.

Websites is pretty useless, but stores are great!, helpful staff and good quality stuff. my preferred home store

Living by the sea, I have bought several items of outdoor furniture that lasted much shorter than expected in the coastal conditions of New Zealand. I shall not enter a Mitre 10 shop again.
