I work within natural resource law enforcement agency and as such am required to conduct scene investigations in some challenging and remote environments. The Moasure device is not a substitute for the many technologies I use to document crime scenes, but it has proven to be an incredible and timesaving addition to our forensic collection portfolio. I am an excavation contractor in NZ, having seen the Moasure One on social media and watched a few YouTube reviews. I decided to purchase one about 6 weeks ago, it goes everywhere with me now and is so quick and accurate I would never go back to the old ways! The amount of data you get and ease of sharing is amazing, also my clients are impressed with the technology and instant information. The time saving for me is fantastic, I don't have to go away and spend hours calculating before I have an answer. Worth every dollar, the only thing you’ll wish is you didn’t get One sooner!”

I was both curious and skeptical about Moasure One, but after seeing it in use, I borrowed it from a friend who is a concrete contractor, to see if it would work for me.
As an electrical and power/grid controls engineer working on large commercial projects, estimating real-world cable lengths is crucial.
It usually requires many tape measurements and/or my Leica laser, and sometimes we use Trimble point cloud mapping.
A contingency amount is usually built into the cable lengths to avoid jointing big power cables. However, contingency amounts for small building wiring cable are fine, but for my latest job with four high voltage 300mm SWA cables in parallel, any wasted meters on each would quickly help pay for the Moasure One.

The Moasure One is expensive, but it is well worth the investment. It has a learning curve, but once I got used to it (a couple of days), the output really showed its potential and accuracy improved.
I like the “wall” feature for sizing up a plant room, and the 3D capture works very well for following a planned cable route - even some very tortuous ones.
I also discovered that the stick works amazingly well, even extended up a wall to measure vertical elevations, and avoiding the need to use a ladder. The ability to subsequently edit height is a winner too.

Today, I used Moasure One for a series of complex three-axis high capacity cable runs between, under, and over several buildings to connect a new transformer with all the various section boards. I finished estimating all the cable runs in a short afternoon and had dimensioned PDFs and floor/route plans finished in the early evening.
Cable lengths were easy to add up.
Previously, this job would have taken me nearly two days to measure and take notes, plus another day to do the calculations/drawings.
The purchase has already proven to be a “no-brainer” for me, and I encourage others to take that plunge. It’s not cheap, and the lack of a subscription component was a key reason I decided to purchase, but I think the return on investment will be quite quick.
My next challenge is to use it to actually SET OUT a trench across a site for a duct run…

Moasure is awesome!!! I used to measure with a 100' reel tape, use extra staff to hold end of tape, write measurements on clipboard, and calculate measurements (making mistakes) in the field.
With Moasure, I just walk.
One and done.
No extra staff, no writing, no calculation mistakes. Export and print out the file.
The more I use Moasure, the more I learn different ways to apply it to my job needs.

We have had the Moasure device for a couple of months and things finally slowed down enough for us to give it a try. After visiting several parks and even a few current job sites for practice we finally put it to use. We were able to accurately, within .5%-.6, measure and get elevations for a future construction project. We accurately mapped, property lines, creeks, trees, and large boulders the client wants to keep on the property, as well as the elevation changes surrounding the building site. This all was then imported into our CAD program and greatly and much more accurately allowed us to design the foundation and decks around the home. Thank you Moasure for such an amazing product!

Very happy that I gave Moasure ONE a chance. I am able the accurately measure the area (acreage) of all of my playing surfaces. This has helped me to really dial in my plant protectant applications and purchasing. I have also used Moasure to help me prepare for bunker and tee renovation projects, cart path installation, mapping of irrigation and drainage systems, updating golf course yardages, and even mapped out the walls and floor areas of our Pro Shop and Clubhouse. Really its uses are only limited by your imagination. I really enjoy using my Moasure ONE!

Own an irrigation installation/ maintenance business and was looking at options to speed up the design process. Heard about this product, read reviews, asked questions in forums and was still a bit hesitant due to a some guys saying it was difficult and a lot saying it was difficult to start with but if you persevered, learnt properly how it worked, then it was the greatest thing. Finally bit the bullet and purchased it and it's brilliant! Still a lot to learn but already it has saved me hours of manual measuring. Lots of videos to teach you and service is good too.

I was excited by the claims of this device (and presumably fake reviews raving about this).

At first glance, this device seems amazing, however, upon measuring an area the errors of this device become clearly apparent when the start and finishing point don't meet despite being the same place.

Measuring between two fixed points 8 metres apart going to and from these points a number of times I got between 7.3 and 8.5metres. Added to this the lines didn't line up and looked more like a half drawn star, proving firstly that the error in measurement was around 15% and secondly that it cannot accurately measure direction.

Contacting Moasure, they assure me that there is a tolerance and seemed to imply that the results I got are normal. This honestly scares me to think that tradesmen and surveyors might be blindly using this tool thinking it is accurate!

I requested to return this for a full refund, and since Moasure claim that this is normal operation and the device is not faulty I have to pay to ship it back at my own expense taking out £500+ in insurance.

So why do I love my Moasure? I'm re-landscaping my 5 acre property to include more rock gardens. I want each area to have a unique shape. I tried laying out a garden hose to simulate the shapes, but that didn't work out well. Then I used small rocks to create the shapes. Let's just say, my back didn't like that much. When I saw the online advertisement for the Moasure, I about fell off my chair with happiness! I purchased it immediately! It has changed my landscaping life!
I was so proud of myself - as I'm sure my late husband would be too - when I came up with a solution for mapping out the unique shapes I wanted. I used a shovel to makes small divots (yes, I was tempted to use my golf club) to create the shapes, and then I used the Moasure to trace the shape. Now, I can accurately determine how much material I will need to purchase for each area! Oh happy day! A little side note; if I didn't like the shape, I just used my golf divot tool to patch the grass, and tried again.
I'm thinking about creating a "Landscaping Fund", so my relatives and friends can contribute to it, instead of buying me Christmas and birthday presents!

I have purchased a lot of equipment over the years, and Moasure's customer service is among the best! The how-to videos and printed documentation makes learning how to use the product extremely easy! The app design is very intuitive. The information it provides is priceless!

I have to measure driveways for square footage for installing snow melt. This is the quickest and easiest way to measure that area confidently. Being able to do an overlay to show customer/ employees what's going on it super helpful. Design of the app/tool work great to get the hang of. Watch a video or two then rock on! Everyone watching me "work" to measure out a job is always amazed!

This little device has saved us countless hours of measuring and re-measuring quantities for payments to contractors. Best part is you can save all measurements and it even draws a little sketch for verification/backup documentation later.

After so many years spent trudging over a site taking level's, moving the level around, calculating each setup and struggling to get all the information needed. And then plotting it into the drawing to get the slope accurately represented on the drawing.
All this is now done in a few simple walk-arounds and then imported into the drawing.
It's a game changer!
