I have an administrative CPR number and am not allowed to create an account.
When I contacted them, they replied that it was only available for Danish CPR numbers, which is not true.
I live in DK more than a year ago, I also have a danish bank account and paying some local bills, but I'm still not allowed to have an account.
Horrible user experience from a companys point of view.
On the 6th of September I was the victim of internet crime. In DBA I contacted a person to purchase a laptop. That person was both NEM ID validated and insisted on payment via Mobilpay. After the transferring 4200kr the person disappeared and no goods were ever sent/received.
After reporting this to the police I contacted Mobilepay. They refused to either refund me my money and or disclose the identity of the person I transfred the money to.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF ID VALIDATION IF PEOPLE ACTIVELY STILL CHEAT OTHERS?
What a terrible system you have created here Denmark. The obsession with concealing identity is more important than deliberate and calculated theft? How shameful - creating a system where theft is encouraged.
Accidentally my friend sent a large sum of money which should have been a request than payment. Can She get it back? No that’s not possible. Good luck with trying to get it back from the recipient.
