While vacationing in Llandudno

While vacationing in Llandudno, my beloved elderly dog, Cassie, had an unfortunate slip on the stairs and struggled to stand. In search of a well-rated local vet, I stumbled upon Mochdre vet's practice via my phone. They were absolutely fantastic, fitting us in right away. Upon arriving, Cassie began to show signs of improvement. The team there, starting with the nurse and followed by the vet, conducted a thorough examination and offered me practical guidance. Her heart and legs were fine; it was just shock and a tender back. After a pain-relieving injection and a few treats, Cassie was feeling much better. To top it off, they offered me a cup of tea and some biscuits to help ease my own nerves—such a thoughtful gesture!

Very kind, efficient vet

I was on holiday in Llandudno, when my old dog, Cassie, slipped on the stairs then couldn’t get up. I looked on my phone for a local vet with good reviews, and found Mochdre vet’s practice. They were terrific - booked my dog in immediately and off we went. By the time we got there, Cassie was already recovering, but first the nurse, then the vet, checked her over very thoroughly, giving me helpful advice. Heart, legs etc. all ok. Just shock and a sore back. After treating her with a painkilling injection (& several treats!) Cassie felt much better. However, I was then given a cup of tea and three biscuits for my own shock and distress - how lovely is that!!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you…

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the way Mochdre vets helped our cat Spud to pass very peaceful and pain-free. It's always extremely sad when you lose your much loved pet, both the vets and office team were compassionate and professional at all times, asking us what we needed to ensure Spud was treated with respect and dignity. Thank you all. Both Spud and our dog Arthur have always had the best of care from the Mochdre Vet team.

We have 5 dogs in the family

We have 5 dogs in the family, ranging in age from 13yrs to 13 months. All are animals love to go to visit and we have always been treated courtiously and many smiles.
Our elderly Lab was involved in an accident a few years back and had to have surgery on his rear left leg which has left him with pain and restricted movement. Mochdre Vets have worked with us to find the best treatment for him. I would recommend Mochdre Vets to anyone.

Mochdre Vets the complete Basil Faulty experience

I am speechless at the behaviour of a nurse by the name of Claire whilst speaking on the telephone with her. I asked if the call was being recorded and she replied no and carried on being rude and offensive. At the end of the day my dog is in pain and does not appear to be getting better, all I asked for was help understanding the root of the problem, then to be asked (sarcastically) why we left our previous vets, were we unhappy with them too. (If any of my staff had spoken to a client in this manner, I would see that as my error for not recognising the lack of training as when you take a call in your place of work you are representing and speaking on behalf of the company. My girls always treated clients with respect and if a client was upset, the girls would use their training to behave in a professional manner and work to a win win scenario not inflame the situation) Claire then went on to say "if you don't like the way I am speaking to you, write in to Sarah and then she laughed". I said you are very rude and she replied Ditto, I said I would conclude the call to which I was then greeted with "good". Who knew the Basil Faulty experience was alive and well in Mochdre. I was unaware you could not speak to a vet, you have to make an appointment, I am still very concerned about my dog and Claire's behaviour has certainly not helped.
