Montesino Translation Reviews 

They posted a want-ad on Indeed for "Translator and Proofreader EN/SP - $500 to $550 USD Monthly" but then all of a sudden I sort of fall into an interview with someone called Melina D'Orio for a "Real Agent Helper" for a Real State company with that same name... WT**?!?!

I never knew what happened with the TRANSLATOR & PROOFREADER position or why nobody told me it was some sort of outsorced want-ad or what ever.
Was it a SCAM want-ad? It seems that way... So Translators BEWARE of SCAMS JOBS offers from this company.

I would definetely recommend this company! They translated my high school diploma. At first they made a mistake by translating the name of my school, but I send an email and I got a corrected report WITHIN 2 MINUTES after I send the mail! Apart from this one mistake (that they corrected), everything was perfect. So yes, I would definetely recommend this translator.

I've used their services a couple of times and they've always exceeded my expectations. Great and fast service, and the documents always arrived on time.

Of the many companies I have searched high and low on the Internet, Montesino offered me the best cost-benefit! They delivered a very polished certified translation in no time at all.
They really provide a dependable service I can recommend.

Worst agency ever!
They make employees write good reviews and then try to discredit the bad reviews from former employees or unsatisfied customers, so cynical. They pay much less than they should.
They fired good and experienced translators just because of the peso devaluation which made it possible for them to hire people for less money.
Many freelancers said that they weren't even paid. This has to stop, don't hire agencies, hire translators, and of course this is the worst agency to hire

I've been working as a translator with Montesino for approx. two years and I am very happy to work with them. They consider the work of translators very seriously and they always respect deadlines and time of payment. The whole staff is very kind too.

I have been working with Montesino Translation since 2015 (contact: Marion Sales). There were ups and downs but our cooperation had been generally ok until A.I. devoured our industry and Montesino became very much shy about its debts. Their tactics was simple: as their orders have always been mostly small to medium documents (btw DE and EN in my case) after a reminder they would make some payments (leaving out some others past due) just to make me take up new assignments. At the moment Montesino Translation owes me several payments the oldest of which was due in September 2020. I made countless reminders but now I have to just warn other translators. If anyone has any doubts, i have screenshots to support this information.

Montesino staff members are very responsive to emails. The company is also quick with their turnaround times for translation projects. Great company to work with for business purposes!

That's how a new customer as i am from Europe, The Netherlands like to be helped. Very very satisfied with the quick response, the quick job Montesino did for me. Also important not expensive as normal other agency.

They handled the Dutch terminology very well and consistent. I suppose their is a Dutch person working at the office. That's pretty nice too. I really recommend Montesino Translation because i've worked also in a world for simultaneous environment.
