I have made several purchases from Moonkist Designs since 2016. I love each one of them. I’ve even reached out to them when I needed to find out a ring size from prior orders so I could order gifts. My sister absolutely loves the rings that I’ve given to her as gifts because the silver doesn’t change color.
UK buyers avoid ordering anything from this company based in the US. Their prices are greatly inflated bordering on ridiculous for the quality. My husband ordered me a silver ring with an Ethiopian opal which had no weight or thickness and could easily snap during wear. He paid in excess of £100 for it and could have got the same here in the UK for £10 (if that!). Their website interestingly states nothing about the metal weight content. We returned the ring for the above reasons on the basis we were mis-sold and they choose to ignore our requests to reimburse us for the return postage for our inconvenience, other than reiterating their policies which they did in several emails, that if you return the ring YOU pay the postage. To the US this cost us £10 so we feel totally cheated. Feeling this way we continued to pursue them by email, very fairly asking for the return postage to be reimbursed on the basis we were mis-sold for inferior quality. Eventually after 8 emails they caved in all because we said they gave us no option other than to give them reviews for poor customer service. We were very fair to let this go on for as long as it did. To this they accused us of bullying and threatening them and they did eventually refund us. What's more, they had the audacity to say they would not welcome any future business with us! Their US customers seem more "taken in" with them.
