My daughter and I had an amazing private tour of Morocco with Morocco Vacation Tour, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.

From our first contact by email, the team was very professional, helpful, and responsive. They listened carefully to what we wanted and helped us organize an itinerary that was perfect for our family. Everything was arranged smoothly, from the hotels and transportation to the daily visits.

We really appreciated the comfort and quality of the trip. The vehicle was modern, clean, and comfortable, which made the longer journeys enjoyable. The hotels and riads were well chosen, with good locations and a high level of cleanliness.

During our journey, we discovered so many beautiful places in Morocco, including Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains, Ouarzazate, the Sahara Desert, Each place was special, with amazing landscapes, history, culture, and unforgettable moments.

A special thank you to our driver-guide Rachid who made our trip even better. He was always punctual, kind, patient, and professional. We felt safe with him throughout the entire journey. He shared his knowledge about Moroccan history, traditions, and local life, and he was always happy to answer our questions and help us enjoy every moment.

The Sahara Desert experience was one of the highlights of our holiday. Watching the sunset over the dunes, spending the night in the desert, and seeing the sunrise was something our family will always remember.

We booked a 10-day / 9-night private tour with Morocco Vacation Tour, flying into Casablanca and departing from Marrakech. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the advertised itinerary, and the post-trip communication was highly unprofessional.
Itinerary and Service Issues: Payment: Upon arrival in Casablanca, we were taken to a bank to withdraw the full payment in cash. This violated our prior agreement to pay part of the balance by debit card.
Day 1: Poor timing led to us arriving at the mosque during prayer time when the ticket office was closed, causing unnecessary waiting. We missed visiting Rick’s Café entirely.
Day 3: The promised visit to a tannery in Chefchaouen was cancelled without consultation. We were told we would see one in Marrakech instead, which did not happen.
Day 4: The scheduled guided tour of the Fes medina and an included traditional lunch were omitted without communication. Instead, we were taken to an unscheduled ceramics factory. We passed through Ifrane with no lunch stop or explanations.
Day 5: The desert accommodation did not match the "luxury camp" description. It lacked heating, air conditioning, a safe, a minibar, and slippers.
Day 6: Multiple scheduled activities—including Khamlia village, Hassilabiad, visiting nomads, Rissani, and the Merzouga oasis—were skipped without explanation.
Day 8: The guided visit to Ait Benhaddou was cancelled. We were told it was closed due to earthquake damage, though we could see other visitors inside the site.
Day 9: The drive included an unscheduled stop for the operators' breakfast and an unannounced visit to a family home where we were left waiting in the car. The promised Marrakech guided tour did not happen; we were vaguely pointed toward a tannery and left to find it ourselves.
Overall Impression: Throughout the trip, communication was poor, activities were frequently omitted, and decisions were made without consulting us. The driving was occasionally excessively slow, which felt like an attempt to delay arrival times to compensate for skipped activities. Seeing photos from other reviewers confirms that we missed out on many standard locations.
Post-Trip Experience: After returning home, we faced heavy pressure to leave five-star reviews on TripAdvisor and Google. When we published our honest feedback, the contact escalated into repeated, harassing messages and intimidation tactics across personal and business channels, forcing us to block the numbers.
We are extremely disappointed with this experience and cannot recommend this tour agency.

My wife and I had an amazing experience discovering Morocco with Rachid! He was our driver-guide throughout our 9-day road trip, and he organized and executed everything flawlessly. From the very beginning, we felt safe, comfortable, and completely taken care of.

We have friends from the SF Bay Area that visited Morocco several months ago. Their trip sounded so wonderful I contacted them about what tour company they used. They couldn’t have been more complimentary of the Moroccan Vacation Tour company so I reached out to Rachid the tour operator.
Rachid provided with the itinerary and options and answered all my questions. We initially signed up for 3 nights/4 days but after considering the options added 1 additional night.
Rachid is easy to work with and responds very quickly. And he can arrange longer tour if desired.
After everything was confirmed it was just a matter of meeting our guide/driver on the date and time we had arranged.
Our amazing trip started when we met our guide/driver Mohamed. He arrived early and helped with our bags, then the adventure began!
The entire tour was incredible! It was everything we were promised and more. Mohamed was a wonderful guide explaining the culture and the sights and always ready to stop for photos and to answer questions. In addition to the historical and cultural aspects of the tour we were very interested in plants and wildflowers. Mohamed was happy to stop for photos of the native plants and often knew the plant and its use.
The entire tour was magical and we learned so much about Morocco, its history and culture.

We had an amazing experience in Morocco with Rachid as our guide (family of 6 persons). We started in Marrakech, then visited the stunning Kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou and continued on to Ouarzazate. One of the highlights of the trip was the camel ride in the desert, followed by an unforgettable night sleeping in a tent under the stars. Best way to see a lot and avoid crowds! Rachid took us to Marrakech, desert, oaises. Made sure to stop at all the best viewpoints to take pictures, restaurants, and clean restrooms. We were recommended by a friend who has come with Rachid 4x. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
