Have been with morson now for the last 5 years approximately on 3 different contracts. So far James Headford has managed to come through with a new contract every time I have needed it. Overall a professional outfit I would have to say

I have worked with Morson Praxxis many times over the last 20 years in Sub-Contract roles and in the last couple of years I have joined Morson Praxxis in a Staff role.
I have always found the recruitment team to be very proffesional and efficient in processing the paperwork required and always on hand to answer any queries.
My main point of contact over the last 5 yrs plus has been with James Headford, James has gone above and beyond to secure the best positions for myself and fellow workers. He is always very professional and looks after his clients brilliantly.
I never hesitate to recommend Morson as a place to work both contract and as an employee.

This is by far one of the most unprofessional recruitment agencies I have ever dealt with. Payments are consistently late, with no clear communication or accountability when deadlines are missed. Chasing money that you’ve already earned should never be part of the job, yet here it is routine.
The yeovil agency also fails to provide correct documentation and proper contracts, which creates confusion and unnecessary stress. Important details are either missing, incorrect, or changed without explanation.
To make matters worse, the agency is led by an aggressive and confrontational manager, Mark Webb, whose attitude is completely inappropriate for a professional environment. Instead of addressing concerns constructively, issues are met with hostility and blame-shifting.
Overall, this agency shows a serious lack of professionalism, organisation, and respect for its workers. I would strongly advise others to think twice before engaging with them unless they are prepared for late payments, poor administration, and unpleasant management.

I applied to a job via email as the job listings advised. Michelle Lingard took over the email chain and asked me to answer a number of questions which I answered thoroughly, she then keeps me waiting and tells me the company have decided to pause the job listing, then she reposts it on LinkedIn.
Additional tomfoolery came when I messaged her on LinkedIn about a different job. I explained my situation and made it clear that I'll be back in Manchester from X date as I was away for a few months, hence looking for new employment. I was stoned walled with the same response 'I only work with local candidates.'
Wanting men for a job I Devonport I have years experience in my line of work well over 40 years I am looking for work I send out a cv with all my details but It's not good going on about silly tickets a gold a silver and a bronze. Its like the Olympics games joke and scaling your hourly rate on a silly matrix I am getting emails from time to time looking for men with this company. I myself feel that I am Getting harassment from this company I have also told the girl in the hr department to take my name and all my details of her computer.but I dont think that they're getting it.I will keep it simple its a bit like telling your Granny in how to boil a egg and I am very professional in my jobs done over the years. And proud of that
I was interviewed by a a young lady in her early twenties.
I knew more about the role and retail than she appeared to.
I could tell she wasn't really interested in interviewing me from the start.
The whole experience was really negative and a complete waste of my time.
I won't apply there again.
Received a call promised the earth. No communication no return to my emails. Terrible, absolutely zero feedback . Got offered same job from a different agency who were actually very responsive. The moral of the story, use a reputable agency with communication and people skills. These are playing at it
Very bad recruitment agency. Probably the worst I had to deal with in my 25-years IT career. They placed me as IT Excel Developer with Post Office (see my review about Post Office) and they completely refused to help me when I raised complaints about my work situation within the Post Office. Even before my contract was suddenly terminated I raised my concerns with them, specifically with Micky Patel but he simply told me “Don’t worry, you’ll continue to work and your contract will not be terminated”. Then, two weeks later, my contract got terminated. Micky, and all his team, including Morson Group CEO, refused to do anything about it. They simply told me “you are a contractor and the Post Office had the right to terminate your contract anytime without even giving you a reason”. Imagine if this happens to every IT contractor, they lose their jobs without any reason! What would be the future of IT contracting if things like this are allowed to happen. Most Recruitment Agencies like Morson are greedy and they would simply stab you on the back for the sake of making money, even by dealing with rubbish companies like Post Office
I was employed through this agency and faced severe mistreatment and blatant discrimination during my time there. As the only foreign worker, I was targeted and singularly subjected to hostility and unfair treatment.
One colleague verbally abused me, telling me to “f*** off while another callously referred to me as a “f***ing Eg.” Despite providing immediate and clear evidence—including WhatsApp messages and screenshots—detailing these incidents, the agency dismissed my complaints outright, without conducting a proper investigation or addressing the discrimination I endured.
It took over six months of persistent follow-up and intervention through the Employment Tribunal before they finally launched an investigation. Their response was riddled with contradictions, denial and inconsistent reasons for terminating my contract, with no fair or transparent process followed.
Additionally, it became painfully obvious that the manager demonstrated clear favouritism toward a female employee of the same ethnicity and skin colour as himself—another individual from Africa—who insulted and demeaned me. This favouritism created a hostile and discriminatory environment where I was unfairly isolated and vilified while others received preferential treatment based on shared ethnicity and appearance.
Throughout, I felt targeted solely because of my nationality, background and race. The agency’s poor handling of complaints, coupled with their discriminatory practices and favouritism made my work experience unbearable and deeply unjust.
I have now taken my case to the Employment Tribunal, sharing my story as a warning to others. This agency’s behaviour reveals a profound lack of fairness, respect and integrity in dealing with workers from diverse backgrounds. Their actions are not only unacceptable—they are a stark violation of basic human dignity.
Would you like me to make it even more assertive or include specific examples?
for clarity , I had a employee contract with this agency to work with the Manchester airport

Thank you for the clarification. Here's the revised version incorporating that detail for clarity:

Very little support and wages are terrible. Overall negative experience
Since being with Morson Group, I honestly don’t have a single negative thing to say about this agency. Sam Walker has not only had outstanding communication but a level of understanding for your personal circumstances unlike any other recruitment agency I have been with. She has always kept me updated giving excellent communication and support throughout my process of starting a new job!
Not only does she go above and beyond to get things done, she also provides substantial amount of support with documents or anything you may need help with making the whole process so much easier and less stressful, I can’t recommend this agency enough!
Just watched one of your minibus drivers weaving across the motorway, swaying between lanes. As we passed him, he was texting in his phone. Hope he had no one onboard. Reg MA23 ZHM M58 14:10
Be more upfront about the client and possible down falls , the client has alot.of expectations and will judge you on your past evenf it doesn't affect you now.
Terrible Recruitment Consultant Agency. I could say more but I think the previous reviews speak volumes and I'm not going to name names even though I've spoken to a few. Piece of advice: Don't try applying for a company like BAE Systems through them either.
I forgot to mention... One or the other with Chorley Market are using the other's logo. I'm sure that is copyright??
The worst recruitment agency I've ever had the misfortune to work with. Avoid if you can
I have been contracting within the engineering sector continuously from 1989 and I have worked via many employment agencies throughout this period, currently working through Morson Talent since 2012. In my opinion Morson Talent is by far the worst agency that I have had the misfortune of working through.
Other agencies that I worked through provided me with a contact representative whom I could contact if necessary and who, every few months would either contact me or visit me to check if I was still content with my relationship with the client and the agency. However with Morson nobody ever contacts me, unlike my colleagues who work through other agencies who have their agents actively engaging with them.
Currently, all my colleagues working through other agencies have had communication advising that there will be a rate rise to cover the rise in NI contributions, however not only have Morson Talent refrained from contacting me on this matter, they have not been willing to answer my question as to whether Morson Talent contractors will be paid what all my other agency colleagues are being paid, which has left me with a trust issue with them.
With my experience of Morson Talent I would seriously advise anybody engaged in obtaining a contract position to give Morson Talent a wide berth and look towards other contracting agencies.
Artur Boruc’s lack of communication cost me my job.
Despite multiple attempts to contact him via phone and email, he ignored every effort to reach him. This caused unnecessary delays in my screening process, frustrating my employer and ultimately leading to the termination of my employment. His unresponsiveness was unacceptable and directly impacted my career.
I strongly advise against using this company. If you’re referred to them, be prepared to handle the entire process yourself. The team responsible for managing the screening process is unreliable and consistently fails to fulfill their responsibilities, leaving you to pick up the slack.
