I phoned Motorbility 8th May 2025…

I phoned Motorbility 7th May 2025 regarding my EV Charger no longer working that was fitted by BP PULSE.
After speaking to BP PULSE they were not compliant repairing the portal charger.
I phoned Motorbility and spoke to such a lovely lady named Frances originally from Melbourne Australia.
Could not thank or appreciate this lady enough as she went above and beyond getting me a new charger and also connecting my Motorbility card to my bank. Extremely patient lady and mad me feel very relaxed and confident. Never had any problems with Motorbility always 100% satisfied when needed.

Reuben so helpful

Spoke with Reuben who could not have been more helpful. I needed to get clarification on a repair to my Motability car and Reuben explained the procedure very clearly and was polite, helpful and professional.

MOTOR MOBIlITY..

MOTOR MOBIlITY... RUN
Never use these useless un helpful and don't care if you are disabled and can't do things.
Mobility won't take responsibility, direct line won't take responsibility and the customer is left to fend for them selfs.
God forbid DONT ever breakdown as 12 hrs later still waiting for recovery and I'm disabled a wheelchair user.
After 2yrs I want to chuck it in but they want £250..
I have an un road worthy car that no one is recovering, autoglass can't fix and now I'm left with a courtesy car .
Had someone take my bumper off had to pay for that as even if your not in the car you still pay.
So took my car sent out a car that was un fit to be on the rd dangerous parts and got taken bk the next day, left with NO car for a week as NO courtesy cars available.
Be aware everything you have to pay for.
Service walk round check anything else i.e wipers, oils, etc you pay for.
Window screen you pay for.
Get a second hand car change the tax over to a disability car so you don't have to pay tax and keep your pip money

Well after 11/12 years with motability foundation…

Well after 11/12 years with motability my
Issues is with the foundation & not with
Motability operations.ive had vehicles with motability since 2013 never had an issue
Until the latter part of 2024.whereas everything has been no.i had all good case managers up until September 2024
I even tried to appeal it supposedly went
As high as the CEO.inc.tom Sheffield.i believe in charge of complaints.in my belief it wasn't a complaint it was actually
Appealing for help to obtain a more suitable vehicle as my mobility has dropped dramatically this year.but no response to that.now when you call
Either motability or the foundation

ITS NEED NOT WANT ITS NEED NOT.
WANT
I keep on telling them it's need due to my
Mobility has got worse.between
2024 - 2025
And can no longer walk but no response

A couldn’t care less attitude from a couldn’t care less company

If only it were possible to give zero stars

This company take no responsibility for the shocking ‘service’ from their support agencies, in particular RAC, or their dealerships of cars are delayed or simply lost in the system. The same with Autoglass who took a month to source a new windscreen for me. Autoglass also told me several contradictory stories about not being able to source the windscreen. When I told them I could get one from the manufacturer in 48 hours they said they wouldn’t fit it if I did. One day I had three phone calls all telling me different things. Motability didn’t want to know
Here’s what you can expect. The moment you mention Motability, most dealers treat you like second class citizens. Many openly tell you that they make no money off the sale of the car you choose, unless you exhaust the extras list.

It is also possible that you may get shunted down the line too. If a paying customer comes along wanting the same car you chose in the same colour, expect the dealership to give that customer your car while you get to wait longer. There is no limit to how long you can wait.

Motability take no responsibility for getting your new car promptly. They don’t even follow the progress of an order.

Then we have their daylight robbery of a £250 fee if you need to change vehicles early on medical grounds. Remember, these people exist to help the disabled, and we cannot guarantee our health conditions will remain stable for three years. All in all, they don’t want to know. And heaven help you if you suspect your vehicle is developing a serious fault. They would rather leave you to break down and then fix it than do any pre-emptive work. I am done with them after my current lease expires!

CLEARLY NOT WORRY FREE DRIVING

Got new 2008 peugeot had car 3 days and started getting electrical faults reported it to dealer, took them 2 weeks to book it in, they now have the car 3 weeks , I made numerous calls to dealer for updates, they said their having issues downloading data from car, so peugeot has advised then to have the dealers workers drive my car back and forward to work place and when faults come up , plug in a memory stick to try and record faults, am I wrong to say that clearly something wrong with car if dealer can't download data from the car with their computer, to date the dealer has now had the motability car longer than me putting miles on it , and the only response I get from motability scheme is , IN FAIRNESS YOU HAVE UP TO 60000 MILES OVER 3 YEARS.
Yes motability scheme 60000 miles that are meant to be for me to use not dealership works driving it around.
And any time I've asked motability scheme to contact dealer for updates they tell me its better if I contact them myself, well when I do contact dealer they only tell me , they havnt found faults in car yet and it would be better if they just phone me, no point me phoning them.
£999.00 advance payment , along with motability allowance ,and I get to drive a loan car from dealer not suitable for my wife needs , again response from motability scheme, sure if dealer can't give you suitable car then when you get your own car back I can claim lost of used .
What I want motability scheme is when I pay advance payment and hand over my motability allowance to you is the car i pick suitable for my needs and the WORRY FREE, STRESS FREE 3 YEARS DRIVING use alway claim .

There is no point because you don't…

There is no point because you don't listen to your customers so. So I am now going in a different direction .because last time I put in a complaint I felt like you were calling me a liar and dropped it as I did not want it to effect my grant so I will drop this complaint and take advice elsewhere on what to do.so I am dropping the complaint.

Money for nothing.

Car started to malfunction after a few months wanting to brake and accelerate all by itself. Dealer told me I could not get a replacement car while repairs underway unless I gave phone number and were prepared to discuss matters with Motability and it’s agents by phone conversation. Little use to me as a deaf customer. Three months of nonsense later the car still was not repaired. The car decided to try to brake and accelerate at the same time so I asked Motability to take the car back. Motability keeps arranging collection of the car but their agent fails to arrive. Three failed attempts have been made so far. I now have a 4th date for collection. Motability continues to take my benefits however and refuses to stop taking public money for a service it knows it is not provided. Motability are no more than con artists. Try to buy a car with your benefits and not use these people. Unless you like to be discriminated against on the basis of your disability, addressed like an idiot by customer services and have your benefits taken and receive nothing but abuse in return.

Who is the actual criminal?

Arrogant rude case workers, obviously chosen for their intimidating manner. Try to make you feel like you are a scrounging criminal just for applying. Will only follow their own agenda, not what you need while insinuatinfg that your needs are actually 'wants'. Will try to shoehorn you into an older run out model with no room for movement. If you are working class/ on health benefit prepeare to be kept FIRMLY in your place. Disgusting experience.

Wrong car spec delivered

Went to pick up my car, but car given was not the spec of the car I ordered, its an electric car which should have long range and the car I was given has a lower range. Want to cancel agreement on this basis but I have to pay, even though dealer has agreed its the wrong spec, but because I used my pin and drove the car the contract is live so I have to pay them to get out of it....But its the wrong car!!!

Motorbility foundation is not fit for…

Motorbility foundation is not fit for purpose.
They have their own agendas and try to push you to get vehicles of their own choice and not what you would like to apply for. They totally ignore you even when you explain the reasons because they are trying to push everyone to get what they want you to have ie basic electric car and ignore all your other needs.
They ignored my concerns and are trying to force me to accept an inferior option of what I would like to apply for. They ignore you when you speak to them and end up having a vendetta against you when you speak out. First of all they are getting the money from the government but act like you’re robbing out of their own pockets. Poor customer care in their contact centres. They have zero empathy for the most vulnerable people and should not hold so much power over those in need of help. Also uneducated staff who lack basic levels of education in order to work in that skill set. Also racist connotations in the way they speak to you on the phone when you’re applying for a grant. The whole thing needs to be disbanded and started afresh. Disgusting behaviour from a so called charity

MOTABILITY DABBLE WITH LIVES.

Have had a nearly new WAV for 7 months. Have driven it less than 1000 miles because I believed it was unsafe. There has been a brake problen from day 1. RAC and supplier deny. Went for service last week. Brakes failed totally on way to service, due to the brake fluid change being missed last service. Moisture had ingressed the braking system due to the missed change. Main dealer has supported me.
Motability in its own inimitable way, refuse to help. I have cancelled the contract. Now taking legal advice. These people cannot be trusted.
Oh and Dan, thank you for your pack of lies. I told you all conversations are recorded, clearly you think I am a liar too.
I have full recording of our conversation. Where you told me what you were going to do. You ended the call with a promise to call me back in 90 minutes. Instead you hung up, left no notes on my account, and just walked away.
Thank you Rachel, for not getting back to me as instructed by your bosses. I recorded, as I told you, I was our conversation too. I have now made a freedom of information request, for all notes made on this WAV since it was leased by myself. So too all telephone conversations I have had with you, together with all notes you have made on us. Yep, see you in court.
What a shambles some of you are.

Appalling customer service from rude operators!

After speaking to 4 different people, I found 3 to be downright rude and 1 incapable of understanding English and just saying Umm to everything I said.
You people would do well to remember it’s not actually your money. Appalling customer service.
Just to be clear I’m talking about the Motability Foundation not Motability in general.
