We're different to other sellers of protective wear. We're not interested in the run-of-the-mill, and we don't set out to do cheap. We sell only the best gear: the most technical, the most protective, the most stylish, and the most comfortable. We're never swayed by what the manufacturers tell us sells best; we're motivated only by finding what's new, what's different, and what works. Our typical customer has probably grown out of sports bikes, and today rides something sit-up: a naked bike, a cruiser, a sports-tourer, an adventure bike, a retro-styled machine, or perhaps even a genuine classic. He is older than the average biker. He likes to make a statement, both in what he rides, and in what he wears. We are also, we’d like to think, a notch or two above your average dealer when it comes to ladies’ wear. And that may have something to do with the fact that we are owned and run by a woman: Sara Linney. We’ve put together a terrific collection for female riders and pillions. Take a look at the site, or come and visit our amazing shop in Guildford. You won’t be disappointed.

First class service
I recently purchased a Shoei helmet, intercom system and ear plugs. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the items I was looking to buy, they were happy to answer any questions that I had. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was extremely helpful.
An enjoyable experience and I will definitely be returning and will certainly recommend a visit to Motolegends.
Good kit and reliable
I've used Motolegends several times, mostly because although it's not a vast selection, it's all good kit. Good comms and quick delivery too.
Klim Switchback - Quality Pants
Wanted to get a new pair of bike trousers and have enough armoured jeans. Read the review on Motolegends on the Klim Switchbank and thought they sounded prefect. Have Klim textiles and they are excellent. Usual simple and quick delivery from Motolegends. Pants are great. Excellent fit, plenty of room. Upgraded the armoured to D30 Diablo as I always tend to do. Has really simple and adjustable armour pockets. Really liked that they are excellent, so easy to adjust and set up correctly. Heavy weight pants but are comfortable and good to walk in off the bike.
An excellent product and great service from Motolegends as usual. Thank you.
Order with Confidence
Nice mail order motorcycle apparel company to deal with. Straightforward and easy to use website for browsing products and ordering. Purchased a few items off them over the years and they will happily and promptly answer any queries you may have. Just purchased a pair of Held Ventuma shorty boots and am very happy with them.
Speedy delivery and excellent returns process
Purchased two pairs of gloves as I was not sure on sizing, items arrived very quickly. The big plus is Motorlegends offer a free return service on the unwanted item.
Great quality gloves
Great quality gloves, delivered in a couple of days from ordering. I was kept up to date at every step from order confirmation to delivery tracking. Items arrived in top quality packaging which is always a nice touch.
Attended again for the great quality…
Attended again for the great quality equipment but above all the service. Had an air vest fitted, staff were fantastic and even took care of downloading app to my phone. Not a better shop anywhere in UK.
Well down you guys.
Really great service, summer gloves
Really great service. I was after a new pair of summer gloves, I am not sure why as it hasn't stopped raining since. They were able to show me several different pairs which matched what I was after. They obviously knew the products they were selling and were able to talk about the plus and minuses of the different ones. I also enquired about some summer trousers for a future purchase. Again the variety and quality of the products together with their knowledge of them was very impressive.
They also make great coffee.
Outstanding service.
I have bought a great deal of motorcycling gear from Motolegends over the years and the service and personal attention has always been excellent. My latest purchase of some Halvarsson Rogen jeans was no exception. They needed to be shortened for me and were carefully measured, sent off to the tailor and returned to me by post less than a week later. The alteration was done at no charge to me. Outstanding!
Great honest opinions
The coffee arrived in short time after I was welcomed in, and that's where the 1st class service begins.
No waiting required when I arrived, with a few people receiving welcomed attention as I entered the showroom; it all felt very attentive and active as opposed meandering around some other reseller looking for someone to help.
Then he appeared, "my own personnel assistent".... the man with the cap!
Fabulous knowledge, large selection offered, pros and cons but he didn't accept that he knew it all, choosing to ask collegues for further advice/confirmation when necessary.
I walked out knowing I had got what I went in for, even though I really didn't have any idea at the time.
Can't fault the service or advice which is given free, yes you're likely to buy something but no pressure was made to do so.
I bought a pair of Stylmartin Air boots…
I bought a pair of Stylmartin Air boots , was torn between the Klim Air boots too but after trying on both pairs & walking @ the shop I purchased the Stylmartins , the stall were very good never felt rushed or pressured
Would highly recommend Motolegends
Back up
Went there for a tech back up on coms system no issues got straight on it ,sorted, just what you want.
First class as ever
First class as ever.
After purchase I realised I had picked the wrong size jacket so I took it back and they exchanged it- no problem at all.
What is really great about ML is the depth of stock cover so no waiting for things to arrive.
Five stars.
A personal shopping experience, good advice
I’m a repeat customer and again award 5star. Do go to motolegends if you enjoy a personal shopping experience with knowledgeable staff . They have a great amount of stock and variety, are able to ensure a great fit & offer great advice.
I did have an issue with my jacket zip after one wear and contacted them - they were so helpful, put another by on stock for me as I’m a petite size and when I went in swapped with no quibbles.
We always shop there for me as I’m small and finding a good fit is a challenge.
I purchased a new Belstaff Tamar jacket…
I purchased a new Belstaff Tamar jacket a week later I see it advertised elsewhere £45 cheaper so I emailed them and they promptly refunded the difference, they have now reduced their price, great service.
Great service
Great service, very knowledgeable and helpful, not pushy at all.
The best bike shop I’ve been to, couldn’t recommend highly enough
No nonsense, just friendly and excellent advice
Dropped in unannounced. A very friendly welcome from a young lady, a coffee whilst I waited: it got off to a good start. The subsequent explanations of the gentleman serving me were more than helpful.
Overall, I was more than satisfied with both the welcome and the service, which were friendly and warm at all times.
Cheers from Germoney, Stefan
Excellent service, again!
Second time I have visited Motolegends and second time the service has been excellent! I got everything I needed, received great advice and suggestions, was not rushed or pressured into buying things I didn’t need and am now fully prepped for the European tour later this year. I wish more stores did this!
Always a pleasure to visit for the vast…
Always a pleasure to visit for the vast range available but most of all for the wise advice!
Chris - Superb quality of service!
Completed on behalf of Melvyn Hillstead
I wanted to purchase a brand new pair of riding jeans. Without an appointment I arrived at your shop, a young lady answered the door and I said i'd like to buy a pair of jeans. She showed me into the entrance to which i was greeted by Chris (chap in the hat), I said I'd like to buy a pair of jeans, waterproof ones if possible, Chris replied "Best of luck with that". He immediately spotted that I was wearing my mesh Klim suit trousers and Chris asked why did I want jeans as my mesh trousers would be cooler in the summer. I said I wanted jeans for the 'look' and before I knew it Chris had already sized me up, gone and got a pair of Rokker jeans and said 'They're the jeans you want!' They were one size too big and before my complimentary glass of water arrived I was standing in the changing room with the correct size jeans on, discussing what quality of knee and hip armour I needed. Having tried on the jeans, I then wanted a pair of brown boots of which Chris pointed me in the direction of a pair of Daytona AC Classic GTX. Bearing in mind my boots size 13 I did not expect Motolegends to have my size in stock, which I was proved wrong! Within minutes, I was sitting on the bike in the showroom complete with jeans and boots.
Having arrived by bike I had no room for the boots so I purchased the jeans and boots and Chris kindly arranged for the boots to be delivered to my home address the next day.
The shop on this visit was fairly busy, but Chris gave me ample time to feel like he was only serving me but in reality he was serving 2 other customers and directing his staff. Even stopping to have a selfie done with me!
All of the above is why I use this particular store.
My tip - turn up with a product in mind as this is not a browsing shop and they do price match. But the service you get at this shop is worth paying a little bit extra for!
