Avoid the Motorola G35

I purchased a Motorola G35 5G in December 2024. In February the wi fi and mobile network both stopped working. I sent the phone back to Motorola thinking that it would be either repaired or replaced under warranty. However, Motorola's designated repairer advised me that the phone had been physically damaged (bent) and that I would have to pay for repairs. I instructed them not to repair it.
The phone has now been returned to me and yes it is bent (the casing and the screen). I'm not sure how I could have bent the screen without cracking it ! However, in the short time that I have owned it, I have not dropped it, sat on it, put it in my back pocket or damaged it in any way. Motorola are still refusing to accept any liability.
Please don't buy one of these phones. They're cheap for a reason.

Poor experience with Motorola Online Chat support.

I chatted with Motorola's chat to find out why my new Motorola phone is taking so long to fully boot when powering it on in the morning (it takes over a minute to become operational)
Camille's reply was that this is normal.
That is a ridiculous non-answer. I have never had a cellphone take so long to fully boot. Camille was not helpful at all; in fact, she was rather curt.

unresponsive customer service

bought a new moto g direct from Motorola. Went through the Canada website but phone was actually shipped from U.S. Who knew? Delivered February 7, 2025. Called customer service February 24 as so called customer service is closed saturday & sunday and I could not report issue. Because I was two days out of "return policy" could not return unit. It will not charge - gets extremely hot and now won't charge at all. Obvious fail. Asked to have my complaint escalated and was told it would take 24-48 hours for response and longer if they were busy. Aha! Tried to reach Motorola head office - very coy - no phone or fax number. So here I am waiting, without a phone, for someone to "get back to me". What a cockamamie outfit. Interesting. Was told by CSR 14 day return but website is 30 days

Motorola's site and buying anything…

Motorola's site and buying anything there is a big dissappointment...no... full of complete bs!
The next day delivery is a complete lie.
The tracking number they eventually sent is a complete waste of time and a week later, not recieved by some mystery shipper.
The 5% discount they flash up on the screen is IMMPOSSIBLE to gather...BS and LIE.
The website looks like it is developed and supported by children and that shows their competence and inability to conform to modern BUSINESS practices.
Ultimately, I am sorry I did business with them. Be prepared forcomplete and utter let down from a supposed reliable business partner. It's a LIE.

Don't buy Motorola

Warnings do not under any circumstance…
Warnings do not under any circumstance buy a Motorola phone from Argos. Argos sell third party goods for home delivery, this includes Motorola who phones, especially Edge 50 pro are broken, broken camera software and or hardware. Argos will force you to send phone back to Motorola who will then tell fibs and say nothing wrong with phone, phone is 1 week and does not work as supposed to. Argos won't honour their 30 day refund faulty return policy, although store manager explained to there home deliveries team that he has verified camere issues, fault. When purchaseing phone from the website it doesn't mention third part sales, so your not actually dealing with Argos but Motorola. I believe this is deliberate attempt to stop customer returning products too Motorola, because they know how bad their products are. Anyway have gone to odbunsman with this & stay clear of Argos, also Sainsbury who shops are dying.

No trade in!

I ordered a new phone with an extra trade-in discount of $50. The original trade in was $10. When it came time to give my money back, Motorola refused. My working phone is worth nothing? Then I spent several hours in the phone trying to resolve this and basically was told too bad. I am livid. Don't order from Motorola.

Used to have a old motorola I was happy…

Used to have a old motorola I was happy about. I bought a new one, Edge 50 Fusion. But it seems new models force after some months after purcahes some ad-ware in their updates that can't be deleted. When you delete it, about midnight every day this app called live lock screen by Taboola just reinstalls itself. It's not unlike a virus. My advice is to not buy Motorola anymore. Shady bussiness.

Never to Team Global Express, Motorola, and Roadhound Electronics

Never to Team Global Express, Roadhound Electronics, and Motorola (Mobile Phone). Motorola took a lot of time to repair my phone, Roadhouse Electronics and Team Global Express took a lot of time to return my phone. Three companies asked for my complete details: from primary and alternate addresses, all mobile numbers possible, and all email addresses, but what did I get? NOTHING. Nothing was delivered. So now, I have to collect the device from a warehouse because they did not deliver it to my home address despite promising to do so, and despite giving three companies my complete details. Their logistics team office was only 15 minutes from my house. I am working 7 days a week. Hence, the delivery! Now, I have to file a halfday off. Overall, it was a bad experience, plus both companies had poor service. Never trusting these three 'again.'

They stole my money.

I'm still waiting on a refund that Motorola has promised me four separate times for a product return they received in November. I'll never buy a Motorola product again after this experience.

Bloatware "Live lock screen" Motorola Edge 40…

Two years ago I bought Motorola Edge 40 Neo mobile phone. Two months ago Motorola installed a bloatware called "Live lock screen" which stays in the lock screen, blocks my notifications and shows ads.

It's not possible to get rid of it.

I ordered a Moto G Power 5G 2024…

I ordered a Moto G Power 5G 2024 yesterday and the phone was supposed to get here today via expedited shipping and I knew all along it wouldn't make it here before Monday probably with all of the holiday shipping traffic and finally last night after me calling customer service twice they created a label for the order but according to UPS they don't even have the package yet and of course it has to have a signature on delivery and I work 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and they don't deliver on the weekends so I don't know how this is going to play out but my complaint is they advertise expedited shipping and the dates they give are just all wrong. No way it could possibly get here today if it didn't even get into UPS's possession yesterday. They should have been transparent about the timeframe not promise something they can't even deliver. The other thing is when I chatted in the rep couldn't find my order number and when I called the rep had a hard time looking up my order and I was transferred to an order specialist who basically didn't tell me anything that I didn't know already and what sucks is that I could have ordered the phone for the same price at Amazon and had it today. But I didn't know.

Waste of money

Waste of money
We did use Motorola in our business and more recently we purchased a "WATERPROOF" VERSION after the first purchase of walkie talkies failed . Never again! The charging port failed after a couple of months. Then the batteries failed less than 6 months old.We have given up with their rubbish. At one time we wondered if they were counterfeit that we had bought but after reading all the bad reviews we realise that they are just a cheap imitation of what Motorola use to be. We are now buying Chinese models.
