If I could give them 0 I would.

If I could give them 0 I would.
I ordered a phone with 2-3 day delivery. After 5 rescheduled UPS delivery dates it appeared that Motorola had not filed the correct customs documents.
As I needed a phone urgently I canceled the order yet they still tried to deliver it. I declined the delivery and now have to wait for the phone to reach their warehouse and then up to 10 days for a refund on a phone that was never in my possession.
Customer service is appalling and the close the chats at will.
80% 1 star reviews speaks volumes.

Appalling communication and poor service

The phone arrived promptly however it was faulty. I contacted them to request a return and refund. They said I would receive details within 5 days for how to return for a refund. Two weeks went by with no news. I had to raise a dispute with my credit card provider. They eventually arranged for the phone to be returned. It was delivered and then a further 2 weeks has passed before they said they are giving me a refund. The communication has been appalling and if I hadn't complained to my credit card provider I don't think they would have issued my refund. Appalling for such a large company

Can I give 0 stars

Can I give 0 stars? Phones are excellent ... but my order never arrived.. difficult to contact and made it my and FedEx problem. Eventually after 2 weeks said phone was lost and cancelled my order. Another 2 weeks and they issue a refund (takes 2-10 days). The phones are great but don't buy direct from motorola because their customer service is terrible.

Discriminating business with ridiculous prices

Charges Americans $99.99 for 4 Moto Tags and Europeans €139.90. And that's if you live in restricted selection of countries, because they apparently don't consider Portugal part of Europe and refuse to sell you anything (the page doesn't even exist).

I sent my phone in for repair and was…

I sent my phone in for repair and was lied to by their online tracker. It says clearly Repaired or Replaced device shipped to you. However when I talk to them they tell me it was not covered by warranty and not repaired nor replaced. Asked for a supervisor and they refused to transfer me to an actual supervisor. They flat out lie to customers and give HORRENDOUS customer support.

Avoid

I've already had to get my phone replaced within a year due to glitch with the phone, and now my second phone is also glitching in a similar way. I've sent it to be repaired 4 TIMES now and they haven't fixed it. Their customer service is inadequate. AVOID. Not worth the bit of money you'll save.

Homeless disabled man invoiced £600 for screen repairs

The worst customer service I have ever seen, the Razer phone is not a quality product the price is too high , the warranty is a joke ,they invalidate it for any reason it's not worth the paper it's printed on, and the charges for screen repairs exceed the value of the phone .. I was homeless living on the street after 2 heart attacks and cancer diagnosis, my best friend died as did my parents my mental health collapsed and lost my job, living on handouts and they told me I had to pay £600 to repair a faulty screen because it was out of warranty even though the phone was well in the warranty period... I used to love Motorola phones had many over the years but never never again

Waste of big money .

Waste of big money .
I bought Motorola Razr 5 and it only looks nice .screen broke after few months and conversations were very quiet from the start .I couldn't talk without loud speaker.
When I changed screen for 200 euro after few weeks black marks appeared again which is first sign of breaking again .
I had Motorola before and broke quickly as well .I have Lenovo laptop which is the same company and it is disappointing.a lot of money for design that s all .battery which was promised to be up to 6 hours holds less than 1 .

Bad product with even worse service

We bought a motorola phone last year (10 months ago). The Razr+ looks nice and worked well until the internal hinge broke. Once the internal hinge (to open and close the screen) broke, the inside main screen stopped working. It has only been used for 10 months and it is used for 1-2 hours per day -- teenager with only 1.5 hours of screen time per day.
The customer service rep immediately told him it would be $500 without having any information. After I called in and sent pictures they stuck with their $500 repair service quote even though it has a 1 year warranty on defective parts. This is a defective part.
The customer service is also poor. While on hold I was hung up on (after an hour of talking to them, being placed on hold, transferred to another department, etc.) and never received a call back telling me the decision. I had to call them and email them. Very poor service for a very bad product. I will NEVER use Motorola products again.

Extremely Disappointed with Motorola – No Delivery, No Support, and No Accountability (as of June 24, 2025)

I ordered the Motorola Edge (2024) from the official Motorola website on June 15, 2025, and it was supposed to be delivered by Friday, June 20, 2025. As of June 24, I still haven’t received the phone. The tracking ID they provided didn’t work for the first two days, then briefly showed the package was in the U.S., and for several days afterward, it showed “information unavailable.” For the last two days, the status has changed to: “On the Way – Pending Release From Non-UPS Broker. Delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.” I’ve contacted Motorola customer service every single day via chat, and every time they say the exact same thing: “Your issue has been escalated to the order team and they will contact you,” but no one ever follows up. There has been no proper coordination, no updates, and no resolution. I’ve already paid the full amount, and now I’m left waiting with no product and no real answers. At this point, I just want my order delivered immediately or cancelled with a full refund. This experience has been completely frustrating, and because of this lack of support, I will never order from Motorola again and will not recommend it to any of my friends or family either. If anyone knows how to escalate this further, please share. I’m posting here because Motorola is simply not responding.

Motorola are whole new level of bad....

Motorola are so bad, bordering on fraudulent and illegal.

They took £1000 of my money over a month ago and never delivered anything, don't respond to support emails and continuously break promises of a refund.

Never have I had to chase a refund for something that was never delivered. Had to put in a charge back with my bank and sent them a letter of action regarding court proceedings.

Nice phone, bad customer support

Bought the Moto G Stylus 5G 2024. I loved it for the most part. Cons: Doesn't come with a 30w usb c charging block (which they recommend). Sound quality on regular calls is just ok and sometimes sounds quiet or like there's background boise. Sound quality on video calls is especially terrible. The camera quality and photo editor could be better. Pros: It has cool features. It's light and stylish. I bought a 30w charger and cable, and with turbo charging, it charged in about 39-45 mins and last more than a day with moderate-heavy use.
Issue: About a month later, it fell into a rain puddle. Afterwards it was taking more than 2x as long to. Charge and was draining more than 2x as fast. I tried everything including updating and factory resetting the phone with no success. I submitted a protection plan claim and paid about $50 for the deductible and shipping costs. They claim the phone passed all their tests so they gave it a software update and returned it to me without making repairs or replacing. I was having the exact same issues so I called the protection plan to see if they would just repair or replace it as part of the initial claim given they did not fix the problem. They refused and required me to pay another deductible to get it replaced. I know enough about phones and did enough research to know it is possible for damaged batteries and hardware to still pass tests. My complaints should have been taken seriously, and they should've been thorough. They weren't committed to making things right. I shouldn't have had to pay the 2nd deductible because all they did the first time was a software update which I could've done myself for free, and ultimately wasn't effective. Charging customers twice for the issue after spending over $300 on the phone was not a great experience. I really like this phone but hated my service experience. Greediness at it's finest. Won't get another Motorola after this one.

Good phones. Terrible support and e-commerce

Motorola phones, generally offer good price to performance. For that, I appreciate them.

However, their online e-commerce platform and customer service team recently took over £1,500 for an order from me, and failed to deliver it. They then lied multiple times and failed to refund the order. This then resulted in me having to contact my bank to log a dispute against them to get my money back.

I've also started legal proceedings against them for leaving me without any goods or money for over a month.

Bad, bad, bad.

Can't block excessive Marketting emails

I purchased a mediocre Motorola phone a while back.

I never signed up for marketting emails but I receive them continuous. I keep unsubscribing but it doesn't stop.

I emailed them asking that they stop flooding my business email but they don't respond and just keep sending more and more daily.

I forwarded 20+ of these emails to the CASL/SRC but it has not stopped. I'm not able block the emails on my private business account.

** I called today was on hold over 30 minutes and the line dropped
** Called again and the IVR system kept ending the call
** Called again and finally got an agent, who argued with me that I'm not receiving any emails from them as it says, I didn't sign up for marketing.
** She just wanted me off the phone and when I asked for a managerial call back to have them remove me from the contact list, she automatically claimed that she had set that up.. just to make me hang up.

Motorola g55 phone, can't recommend

Motorola g55 phone - can't recommend.

Previously had Motorola phones and liked them, recommended them to friends.

Had to get new phone as service provider switching to VoLTE. Chose Motorola g55.

Touchscreen is terrible;; completely randomly stops responding to taps, then maybe suddenly is fine after 6 or 7 tries.
Same screen another occasion might work fine.

I'm not a a phone gamer; this phone would be completely unusable in gaming.

Other than that, well, it's a phone (good audio), web browsing ok (when touchscreen is behaving), screen is pretty good for price.

Horrible e-commerce site

Horrible e-commerce site.
1. unable to order from safari on iPhone - gets a 404 error when you go to checkout.
2. Ordered from web browser on my Mac. Page said should ship by May 28 - however, order confirmation said. should 'deliver by' may 25 (a Sunday) by 'normal shipping'
3. Order status for shipping info only shows my address - nothing about if/when it will ship....
4. Used their support chat feature. Had to provide name, email, phone number to get into chat. BOT transferred me to talk to a real-agent, but to do that I had to re-enter my name, email, phone number. Once the chat started guess what they asked for 'full name, email, phone number' - what could possibly go wrong.
5. Chat person said 'my access level is insufficient to check your order status' ?

I will try to come back and update. For the record - they couldn't cancel my order either.
