Get more use with a chocolate teapot then the online chat
Boots i have previously had from mountain warehouse that was waterproof lasted almost 12 months
They gave in, so i bought the exact same boot, after just 1 month of light wear the boots are not waterproof even though they are the exact same boot as i have previously purchased.
Was told to take them into store for them to be assessed, i explained the store is not local and that i am unable to get to the store.
I was asked to take pictures and send them. I explained there is no visible fault on the boots that they are just not waterproof.
Kam on the online chat now wants me to send pictures of the boots and my wet sock to prove they are not waterproof
Surely if someone has a foot fetish they have to pay for photos as such ….
Boots are going in the bin and i am never buying from MOUNTAIN WAREHOUSE ever again …. 12 month warranty (yeah right )

I Really Wanted the Hiking Boots
I ordered hiking boots, twice. The first order was for my sister. I received constant updates and they arrived promptly. The second order was for me as she loved the boots. I ordered April 17th and they were showing as “in Canada” since April 20th. I received no information or updates as to when they would ship/arrive.
With all of that being stated, the refund process was effortless as was the credit for a promo that couldn't be added at checkout. I might shop with them again.

Unable to complete online order
I tried, several times, to place an order online, but the system kept failing. I called the company and was told they couldn't take order over the 'phone, but I could purchase in the shop. Very polite person on 'phone, but, as I can't get to shop, it's a lost order.

Mountain Warehouse Extreme walking boots - extremely poor quality
I was given a pair of Mountain Warehouse Extreme walking boots as a present. After about 11 months the stitching on both heels came apart. My daughter who had bought them for me contacted Mountain Warehouse who to their credit replaced them immediately. Now, after only a couple of months of wearing the replacements one of the lace holders has popped out. This has taken me beyond 12 months so I don’t suppose that they would be replaced a second time. This indicates very poor quality workmanship in their construction.
Since I posted the above review I have received a response that sounded quite positive - as if they might do something about the problem. I was asked to send the order details to them but the email address I was given doesn’t appear to exist. Do companies do this deliberately so that it looks good but they don’t have to do anything?

Abbie - Great Customer Service
I placed a click and collect order online and applied one of their 20% off discount codes, but this appeared to be removed from my basket without me realising before I finalised the order. Initially, this resulted in me being charged full price for my items, which wasn't ideal. I spoke with Abbie on their websites live chat feature and she was very helpful and promptly issued me a refund for the difference. Great customer service, would highly recommend!

Amazing customer service!
Placed a large order of many pairs of Winter fleece lined pants to try (they are awesome).
